Got to say you're the first one out of all the fishing guys in order to move on here they give a total honest opinion and saying that hooks are trash and showing the size thanks man

Nice video! Thanks for sharing with us. I personally think that Temu has some really decent stuff and some really cheap stuff. But for sure, you can't beat the crazy prices that they have. A lot of their things are worth buying and at least trying. If they don't work out, then you haven't lost much money. Keep up the good work buddy! I have found if I’m super careful examining the product photos and reviews on temu that I’ve had pretty good luck getting things that are pretty nice quality especially for the price . Sooo many things on temu have reviews that say “it’s smaller than I expected”… 😂

I’ve seen my dad catch several fish on the Temu whopper ploppers. I also bought some of the baits that look like the Yamamoto yamatanuki and caught fish with them. They were just smaller than expected like some of those baits you got.
The whopper ploppers look just like the Amazon ones, which I have used. They have their issues, but will catch the fish. My next order from Temu will be all soft plastics. I'll for sure give the yamamoto knockoffs a try.

Believe it or not I have purchased a lot of lures some team you and they work just as well if not better than some lures I paid over $100 for I am very impressed with their Glide baits they work just as well as the ones I paid over a hundred bucks for

They may look the part but I have yet to see somebody actually get a Temu lure wet and use it for fishing lol.

I set out in the kayak last weekend to do that video. It was so hot, and the bass just wasn't biting. I did get one good hit on the purple swimbait with the spinner in the center, but lost it.
Thinking about changing all the hooks and getting some footage of their action, so I at least have something for yall. Have to work this weekend. Hopefully, I can do that next weekend.
What do you think, is changing out all the hooks cheating?

The reason all the tape is on the package is because when it comes into customs they open it and looked at the stuff then tape it up

Lipless baits with their colors they have absolutely work 100% I went away from Bill Lewis lures because these have a better attraction to fish I know that's hard to believe
I found one kickass lipless. It was from the other temu video I did with my wife. A flat black one with the orange belly. I kinda ragged it because it was a little rough looking, but I'll be damn the action on that sucka was insane good. Just under 5 bucks, so not the greatest deal. I mean, it is, but it's not 97 cents lol

So far , I have not really bought any tackle from temu . I bought some baitfeeder spinning reels that have done great for catfish and a couple baitcasters that did alright . I did buy some hooks from there . They did not work . They felt fairly sturdy until I got a decent catfish on my line fighting me . Next thing I knew , he was gone . I reeled in my line and the hook was completely straightened out .
Catfish will for sure test your gear out!!

The biggest problem that I have had with Temu is guessing the size of things. They always seem to come mostly smaller than I think because I don't know metric sizes or meters etc. I have caught fish on most of the things that I have used from them.
Same. I have to Google mm to inches. Then I'll scroll down and see the same picture for cheaper and buy it without reading it's like 500mm smaller than the more expensive one.

5 mins in. Can stand this guy complaining about packaging and quality. The quality is a steal for what you paid for. But you expect to look like a $20 lure on a 2-3 dollars budget
Thanks for the comment, it was very refreshing. I actually went back and watched it, cause I didn't feel like I came off complaining. I was merely reviewing a product. In doing so, you should tell people if there's something you don't like, then they can take that into consideration when buying. I wouldn't say any of it was a "steal" for the price. Most of it was an ok deal for the price. All but one of them look cheap. The rest actually look pretty good. All the hooks are bad and not sharp, and you're correct, change them out. Not complaining, just conducting an honest review (which I can do because I turn down their sponsorship) The bag inside a bag thing was a half joke, like a box inside a box inside a box. But really, it was an excessive amount of plastic.
I apologize for the long comment, I decided to cover both of your's in one. I really appreciate your comments and hope you comment on more of my videos. I've never had anyone in these 2 years make me go watch a video after I uploaded it. Thank you. I'll pay more attention to not come off as complaining.

I don't believe he was truly trying to hate. And even if he was, everyone has the right to be heard. I was born in 1977 and grew up through the 80' and 90's (some of the best years!!) when as kids, all we did was make fun of each other. My skin is very tough!! As an adult, I've learned to listen to everyone, positive and negative. Then you review yourself and make the needed adjustments... if needed.

Has this man ever heard of buyers beware and to literally complain about stupidity things you can’t say oh man bag after bag oh that’s such a great color. You gotta weigh your options. You knew who you were ordering from and there’s only about 5 to 20 people that actually are ambassadors for temu, they use a lot of other companies to see what they’re gonna get what they’re gonna have and they already got a pretty idea of how shit works but when you’re paying a third of the price of something, I’m pretty sure they don’t tweak their hard baits before they sell them
I completely agree with the buyer be aware, that's the biggest part of me doing these temu fishing videos. I'm jumping in and helping to find out what's worth it.
I do feel like there's a lot more than 20 people getting deals to promote temu... they don't seem to care how small a channel is.

@@hookreelfishing they have some nice stuff on there if you know what you’re looking for but when they come out with this new stuff, but it’s nice to see that you understand and don’t complain about the rapping. I got a Amazon package with three St. Croix rides in it that was wrapped in plastic.🥲🥲 at the end after opening them and looking at everything😋 sometimes it’s we gotta trust something other than what we know because we spend all this money on these top lures that catch fish. I bought me a finesse Buzz bait and I caught me a nice two pounder yesterday just throwing it around the trees.
This guy complaining bag inside of a bag. You want your stuff broken?you complaining of the quality. Change the hooks really. You don’t need something super fancy like it’s a luxury finish. You want that luxury. Pay the overpriced expensive lures.

I agree with that. The moaning was more with myself for not fully checking the actual size. When I do these types of reviews, I want yall to learn from my mistakes and to get a better idea of the item in hand. I apologize and hope you were able to look past my miserable personality and come out with a better understanding of these temu products.
