    I’ve always had gravely mowers but have been watching your videos for a long time and needed a walk behind for my business. Bought a Ferris fw35 52 about 3 months ago and that thing is awesome. Appreciate your reviews and the time and dedication that goes into them. Keep up the good work man. You by far have some of the best content on TH-cam in regards to lawn care.

    I purchased a Z2 and put 135 hours on it. Then it started giving me problems. While my dealer was fixing it they let me use a Z3 so I could keep mowing. I traded the Z2 for the Z3. I love it. Thanks for your awesome videos.

    I love my Ferris mowers! My first Ferris I bought off a guy back in 2016 was a 1990 48" Ferris Hydrowalk behind with a sulky. That mower really grabbed onto the hills and went about 4-5 mph. I then needed something bigger and faster and decided to purchase the Ferris Z2 52" Vanguard efi mower in 2017. I just purchased a 2020 Ferris Z3X 61" Vanguard with the oil guard system yesterday from my dealer. I should be able to pick it up here mid week after they un crate it and go over everything for proper operation. I'm having the grass flap also installed with the foot pedal just like I had in my Z2. I'm going to add that little trash bag kit you got on yours. Wright has that on their mowers and that's a nice feature. So many times I've come across trash and put it on my platform or in my back pocket depending what it is. Great honest review!

  • @johnbailey9682
    @johnbailey9682 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    So you have had it for a very short time . I ran a old belt drive 34 inch cut gravely for 16 years . Cleaned it every day sharpened the blades daily . We took time to clean the deck daily as well. When the engine finally blew we bought a wright 32 hydro that was a huge mistake break down after brake down . Never had so much down time . The girls wanted the gravely hydro so we bought 2 of them and they are happy once again. We will run them until the engine goes out but we take care of our tools very well . If your buying a new mower every 2 to 3 years then you really suck at maintaining your equipment !

    • @PlemonsLawnCare
      @PlemonsLawnCare  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed only time you should be buying mowers every 2-3 years is because your business is growing and need more mowers

    • @johnbailey9682
      @johnbailey9682 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know what you mean if you get help then you will need more tools . I am a lot older than most on the you tube . I have help now a set of twins and they got off to a very slow start but kick ass now . Just took them time to get use to doing all the work. Our first hydro mower was a wright 32 and that turned out to be our worst mower . I was very glad I had only bought 1 of them . The plan was to buy 5 of them . But after having so many problems with it we went back to the gravely . I had a 16 year old gravely belt drive never had any trouble with the gravely . So now the girls have 2 gravelys in each trailer . I have the wright in my truck when I go out to help them . They have no desire or even want to use what they call my piece shit wright . I spent to much money to let it sit . But I agree with them it is not my favorite mower to use.

      That’s what I thought. I’m looking to get a FW15 (my Honda will prob go awol by spring ), and I want that bagger on that puppy too.. I’m thinking I’m gonna have to fab up my own bagger system, similar to the red magic, Max fill 2.. but.. just weld up my own... they want $2,800 for it... and I’m not sure about that blower.. rather get a ferris blower, order the big flex tube from Oneida dust collection (all up in my cabinet shop, I use Oneida dust system parts .. good stuff), but just weld up a rack for 3 trash cans that slide in on channels, modify the trash cans with perforated stainless, and rivots. Same with the “back flap door”, rivet on the perforated stainless, and add the rubber connector/hooks. And save a TON of money for a weekend of work in the shop..

    Whaaaaaaaaaat??? So let me get this straight… The front casters articulate/pivot side to side on the front stud, and are dampened bye those side rods?? Sorry if I messed up proper verbiage, But I hope you understand what I'm asking. If so that is the Stupidest, Dopest, Freshest design ever!!!! I mean, how awesome that stander must mow when you're leaning into a turn and the casters have the ability to compensate for the leaning of the mower. And with the floating decks along with that set up is pure fire!!!! Is it on all the standers Ritchie, or just that model?? Like, I've said, I'm an Exmark guy through and through, but after seeing the 32 push mower and this feature on the stand-ons, it would be a hard decision to not go with Ferris. You are correct they're manufactured up around here, but dealer support is non existent!!! Exmark, Scag, & Bobcat have this area on lock!!! Wright is moving in slowly, but I would love to see Ferris come hard & fast with a vengeance. They have me def. thinking....
