- Peebs eats Wendy's every day for one whole week! I also decided to rank all the items, so this doubles as a Wendy's ranking fast food taste test review.
Wendy's has always been one of my favorite fast food restaurants - specifically their cheese burgers. Will I still like it after eating it for 1 week?? We've got the Wendy's Baconator burger (sadly no pretzle baconator), french fries, cheese fries / queso fries, the spicy chicken sandwich / ghost pepper ranch chicken sandwich, Wendy's breakfast, specifically the wendy's croissant sandwich (I should have gotten the maple bacon chicken sandwich), the potato wedges instead of hash browns, the chocolate frosty coffee, grilled chicken wrap, and a Wendy's lemonade, Pineaplle mango lemonade, some wendy's spicy chicken nuggets + every single wendy's dipping sauce (RIP the creamy sriracha sauce), a wendy's secret menu item, the chili cheese baked potato, the loaded nacho chicken sandwich, and the classic chocolate frosty!

I love Wendy's simply because it is the only fast food place where you can get a full meal with ice cream for $4.
That is all.
It's quickly become the cheapest fast food place despite being so much better than most if not all the others.

As someone who worked at Wendy's during college, that chili cheese baked potato was sad.
That's what I pointed out in my comment. A lot of the stuff was sad. Looked like most of the buns weren't toasted and they should have been. The queso fries and potato looked depressing and disgusting. The drinks were likely half-assed and the nuggets really did look like the best part.

I have such fond memories of eating a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger with my best friend after a long summer day at the Splashtown water park. Love to see a Wendy’s vid from you PBG!
I used to get 3 after sports events with chili sauce packets after sports events in high school for only 3 dollars. It was nice. Then they made them tinier and raised the price.
FTR the Maple Bacon breakfast item is actually pretty fire. Definitely made a mistake not getting that one.
Also yes, Baconator is the best. Having started Keto, I'm glad I can still get those.

The Breakfast Baconator is probably the best breakfast sandwich that Wendy's offers. (If you can get past the fact that it uses burger buns)
Also the frosticinno is straight up just half cold brew coffee and half melted frosty.
Technically, the frosty mix in the frosty cold brew isn't melted. They use frosty mix that has never been frozen like a creamer

I always have them sub out the bun for a croissant bun it makes it so much better
The breakfast baconator is so good. UNLESS you need an energizing breakfast lol. It's perfect for hangovers, though lol.
Interesting fact. The baconater actually saved Wendy's from bankruptcy, they were struggling and they needed a burger that would draw people in so they made one piled high with burger patties and bacon and marketed it towards young man and boom the rest is history.
And became absolute legends in the process

peeb! the next time you get chili at wendy’s (by itself) you should ask if they have the hot chili seasoning. it’s a little packet with some chili sauce and it makes the chili super gooood. and pair it with some fritos and shredded cheese!! i’m from louisiana and we got some bomb ass chili, so i know what i’m talking about. unless y’all’s stores make the chili differently

I worked at Wendy's a long time ago, and would always go home with a bag full of fries and nuggets. It was my dinner.

I like the chili. It's pretty good considering it is coming from a fast food place. Also it is one of the only places you can get chili year round as it tends to be seasonal at most regular restaurants.
I agree. I always ask for the chili oil, it gives it just a little kick. I would have ordered the potato separate, maybe with cheese, and added the chili myself.
I wish you would've tried their salads. The veggies are fresh and never wilted, the chicken is decently good quality, and I especially love their berry summer salad AND the "taco salad" which I usually split up into two meals (the salad itself and the chili + chips + salsa)

I used to work at Wendy’s when they were getting rid of the creamy Sriracha sauce and the simply put answer is yes it was popular but people wanted some type of ghost pepper sauce more and so they decided to instead of having two spicy sauces replace it with the ghost pepper ranch, for a while I was tryna suggest like a sweet and spicy sauce like a mango habanero or something lol

I used to work at Wendy's and can tell you why they will not drop the chili, it is what they do with the burger meat if it has gone too long on the grill. It is better then it sounds though as we are not talking hours on the grill, but if the place is running right the problem is the grill will dry it out if it is there too long and is made moist again as the chili is cooked.
Also, if you think the Baconator is a bit much, try the Sone of Baconator, same idea made smaller.
You definitely should've tried the chili on it's own. It's surprisingly good. Same with their chili cheese fries

as someone that has worked at a wendys, i think the reason why they keep the chili is because is super cheap to make

The chili is important for their business model. The burgers that are left over from the day before are used for the chili, because they always use fresh beef for the burgers.
The chili is 90% of the reason I ever go to Wendy’s. That shit slaps. Get the onions and cheese, crackers, and some of the spicy chili seasoning they have, and you’re set. Large chili, medium fry, perfect combo.
Also found out a few days ago they have canned chili in stores. It’s good, but *ungodly* salty. More in a can than a packet of ramen.
For the baked potato you’ve gotta get it with butter and sour cream then mush it all up like mashed potato. It’s perfect
Pretzel Baconator and bacon and cheese potato are my go-to.
The chili... For the chili you definitely need hot sauce and shredded cheese to make it taste like anything

I kind of forgot that this is not his main channel but for sure enjoy your videos, never expected to enjoy so manu Artur videos, and the weekly fast food are great, specially for how you get with each day 😂, this time you didn't got so much damage like the other times, is that Wendy's quality or you learned to not get destroyed by the food in the week??
The best thing they had on the menu was the mushroom peppercorn melt, ever since they removed it I almost never went back except on the off occasion for a pretzel burger or breakfast.
31:26 My man, as someone who loves Wendy's a bunch, especially their Chili Cheese Fries, I can tell you that you choose the worst of the two Chili Cheese potato related things on their menu. Their chili cheese fries are absolute banger for me, I never seem to get tired of them cause they taste that dang good.
Speaking of chili cheese fries, if you ever decide that you want to hurt yourself for a week like this again, maybe try Checker's?
My grandparents really liked Wendy's baked potato and chili. When I used to take them out to lunch, there was a high likelihood that they wanted to go to Wendy's for precisely that. And coffee. Wendy's baked potato and chili still reminds me of them. 🙂
Their honey chicken biscuit is the BEST fast food breakfast sandwich. You missed out.
The chili is great, that said, the reason it's still there (even if it wasn't popular, which it is) is because they use the leftover cooked burger patties to make the chili.

I used to work at Wendy’s. Im so sad they got rid of reamy siracha, I used to love to dip my fries in it 😭 And only old people ordered the chilli lmao
I'm old now and love the chili, but when I first moved to the US I was young and Wendy's was my favorite place. I used to get their taco salad. Back than they piled the chips on with the salad not in those little packages, and asses the chili on, very generously as well. I miss that.
Dude the Ghost pepper burger from Red Robin was my favorite. I'd say anyone who likes spicy should try it but they removed it from there menu years ago... I've had dreams about that burger... not even kidding 😔
There was a disagreement between the Sriracha guy and his supplier farm. The manufacture of the sauce was not able to be done for a little while and there has been a shortage.
There are those who say Sriracha no longer tastes the same after the switch. That's probably why they could no longer source it for the Sriracha ranch sauce.

I really like the pumpkin spice frosty!!! I love pumpkin spice in general but the frosty is especially good. If you get the pretzel baconator again you should do a shorts of it bc I do want to see that one I love pretzel buns

I didn't realize that Wendy's wasn't everywhere. In the U.S they are pretty common.
Wendys wanted to open "restaurants" here in the netherlands as well but here in my town there is a small snackbar called wendys and they are the reason the american wendys are not allowed to open anything here

So up here in Canada, the cheesy cheddar burger is on the menu full rime. But it’s a jr patty with just a slice of cheese and cheese sauce. No extra toppings. The extra toppings sounds like it would not combo well with that cheese sauce.
The Cheesey Cheddar Burger here in Canada is a burger with just cheese and cheese sauce and is a main menu item. I guess they have a different cheesy cheddar burger in the US to make it a secret item menu.

When I was younger, I loved the basic chicken sandwich with no lettuce, because their crispy chicken is just top tier to me among all fast food places. And all these years later it still is my preferred place for chicken sandwiches. Though now I mostly get the Asiago bacon ranch one, and once I tried the cheese fries, I can't go back. When they get the right spread of melted cheese over them it's so good. As far as the breakfast menu goes, I've enjoyed the maple chicken one well enough, it's very sweet though, and the breakfast baconator is pretty good. Speaking of baconators, the "Jr." one is just a single patty instead of a double, so if it feels like it's "too much meat" then order the Jr. one for it. I've had the same feeling when trying it before, it's good but I don't normally do a double burger either

It honestly kind of offended me. I take pride in the quality of work my store produces and his was seemingly offensive about it.
@@s.k.6100 Could be that he ordered during busier times. I've ordered from my local McDonalds at peak times and the presentation of the food understandably drops a bit as staff are rushing to keep up with demand.
32:55 Back when I used to work at Wendy's, the Cheesy Cheddar Burger was just meat and cheese with the cheese sauce we used for the Cheese Fries. A little jarring to see it's now apparently just a Jr. Cheeseburger but with queso.

I usually get a double baconator with barbecue sauce with a tiny chelate frosty. It’s delicious!
I always really enjoy these sorts of videos from you! I do enjoy all your videos but these types of ones are also really funny to see!
Also just a heads up for these sorts of videos, I would highly recommend avoiding doing one of these sorts 1 food place/1 type of food for a week videos on McDonalds or Starbucks due to the whole thing with Palestinine and Isreal , cause you know how the internet is, if you buy something from a company thats doing awful things without realizing they did those sorts of things, the internet will suddenly call you a bad person instead of informing that person on the bad things said companies have done.
So yeah I wouldn't avoid doing these types of videos for McDonald's or Starbucks
Kroger has a Ranch Sriracha dressing / sauce. You should try that and see if it is a good replacement. I loved it on my chicken quesadillas. Although you should know almost all sauces are made with sugar, and mayo type dressings are made with seed oils.
Yeah the Frosty coffee isn't the greatest, it good if you like dark coffee with sugar but I like cream with my coffee and it doesn't taste much like it has cream at all. Nice video!
Edit: I would have recommended the Breakfast Baconator for the breakfast portion, and i guess they don't really make their potato wedges as good as they do out here, i can't get enough of them out here haha.
I get the chili. You should ask for the spicy chili sauce for the chili and it's bomb AF.
The Queso Fries, regular Cheese Fries, & Baconator Fries are good, but you have to eat them fresh, and not to go. McDonald's occasionally does sell cheese fries. It's a basket of fries and it comes with a container of warm Nacho Cheese Sauce.
I work at McD's, but I have to make my own cheese fries whenever we get the cheese sauce for the cheesy bacon qpc..... too bad it's only seasonal
