I adore how Linkus is trying to show off the Co-op randomizer, but Smant is just constantly thinking "So it's a PvP randomizer?"
Honestly I think a competitive randomizer would be great for this and be super interesting to watch, of course we'd need to see if it'd work, but having separate inventories for some key items would require them to negotiate deals on tackling progression obstacles together. Then, they'd need to try to gain the lead again and set their time apart.

This was actually really cool. Loved the combo of Smant dicking around but somehow finding everything, with Linkus bring the fount of check knowledge.

After watching ZFG do randomizer for so long I think I became a little desensitized to how hard it really is. Watching these two do a seed that is *relatively* easy, it really puts it into perspective. Great job Linkus and Smallant.
OoT online randomizers existed for a while now I remember a year or two ago I think it was where I would play with 4 to sometimes 8 people and it would take a few hours to clear specific seeds 😂

as far as a logic seed goes I'd say this seed looked relatively tough, probably a bit easy compared to a normal logicless though.

@GoldenWingsSmash-qx4cb the easiest way is probably to use the Ship of Harkinian PC port. It has rando built in. Or if you're specifically talking about the multiplayer you need a version 1.0 rom and OotModLoader.

Great teamwork between you two here lol. It works so seamlessly! If it could be scaled up even more, I'd love to watch 2 teams of 4 players each compete to see who could complete the same randomizer seed the fastest - assuming you could get 8 Ocarina of Time experts together for it!

I like the idea of all these insanely legendary and valuable items being in this subterranean crypt. Fallen hero kind of vibes.
I know that for the sake of the flow of the video, a lot needed to be cut, but I would love a series of videos edited in the same style uploaded to Linkus daily! The love q's were hilarious and the whole stream was great (I know editing two perspectives takes a while but it would be great content!)

It's not an emulator, it's part of the Ocarina of Time decomp project known as Ship of Harkinian
Would love to see more of these! as someone who's done a lot of logic-less OOT randomizers I especially loved seeing all of the glitches involved

Oot is the first real adventure game i ever played. Always holds a weird special place in my head like i see it differently than i see most games.
These days i know how games work, i know tropes and mechanics and roughly what ill see in a game. But back then this was really an adventure, i had no idea what was going to happen next

@@HinkHallI thought the same, but as far as I know the PC port still doesn't have a multiplayer function (not counting the fairy mode).
It’s a developer version of Ship of Harkinian, should be released in a future official build ^^

Didn't know multiplayer had pvp/friendly fire. Made things a little more entertaining! Yahaha! I liked the questions and how subtle they were placed in until being caught. Ahaha Never seen Pierre block off a cliff before. This was very fun to watch!

Is there an option to not have shared items between players? I think it would be cool to go through some of the puzzles with the items being split so that you have to work together more
There is something called Archipelago that could pull off something like this. And even better, it works across multiple games, so you could link an OoT randomizer to, for example, a Mario 64 Randomizer

OOT Randomizer and the Kokiri Sword refusing to drop until long after it's useless, name a better duo.
I did this a couple years ago with some friends by mixing a randomized rom with OOT online, but this new version looks awesome

Can wait for this update to come out!! I decided to download the oot and mm online mod for modloader64 to get something similar. But the 60fps ship of harkinian online multiplayer randomizer looks amazing. Love this content
Pretty sure you can have 2 separate games linked up with each other's items as well (I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to see the other player for they are in their own game). I think you can even make it up to 3 players. I haven't seen them much but they seem like a ton of fun!
