- This video covers 50 videogame opinions I have that would most likely be considered hot takes and might upset some people. Sorry in advance. I figured I’d share some of these opinions since I don’t hear people mention these things often or ever even. I cover mostly Nintendo videogames and many topics ranging from all types of videogames topics like consoles, videogames themselves, arcade games, and more.

The main problem with the n64 is
1. The lack of x and y buttons
2. The c stick is just a dpad
3. A random person can’t pick it up for the first time and immediately know how to hold it somewhat well

Well it's no wonder I didn't get into Minecraft for very long. Lol 😅
Although I will say you might want to give Yoshi's woolly World a chance again because it's very peaceful and there's no crying babies. Also the art style is very beautiful and gentle.
I enjoy the Sonic series when it comes to the characters and story but I don't enjoy playing the games because of exactly what you mentioned. It wants you to go fast but there's too many obstacles in the way for you to do so. It's fun going fast but if there's too many obstacles it's tedious and frustrating. It is disappointing that you lose all your rings and get hit right on the spot. But that doesn't mean the games are garbage because there are a lot of people that like a challenge. I think it's just too challenging for a whole audience unfortunately.

I love Waluigi because I gave him a redemption story!
Geno is a precious puppet and I love him just because of that.
I believe that they shouldn't focus on baby characters for Mario Kart games. Also instead of having all these clones they should have costume changes like they do in smash. Although I think that keeping Baby Mario and Baby Luigi would be good.
I think all Mario Kart games are special in their own right but I got to agree with you 12 racers is a lot and I'd rather there be 8. Also they're going to have 24 racers I believe in the new Mario Kart game which is insane!! I enjoy the Mario Kart Wii because of nostalgia and I like the detailed race tracks because of how beautiful it is, there's so much to look at. 🥰
I've always liked Cartoon games over realism games. But that's what I like. ☺️

They're both different and both have different things that make them special. But hey, play what you enjoy. 🥳
I have to agree with you.
Why would you want to pay for more content. Wouldn't you rather have everything in the game that you paid for. $60 is expensive enough.
Like for example, the Mario Kart 8 deluxe DLC should have been included with the game. What I mean is that the new courses and characters should have been in the game in the first place.
Nah realistic racing games for me are so fun being a car enthusiast and I can see that being the case for sports games too I love my 2k and mlb the show but I get what you’re saying, I love super sluggers and mariokart is my fav must have of every Nintendo console
Because I have a Nintendo Wii U I got to say that I love the Wii remote. You can move it around so swiftly like a wand or use it horizontally like a game controller. What do you think? 😊
@GodIAdore it’s pretty cool but it’s motion controls don’t hold up too great in retrospect but it’s definitely pretty comfortable with a grip on

3DS the best handheld we will ever get, not counting the switch. The ps vita could have been that but too expensive not enough support and my childhood first version 3DS still my fav
to preface this, i am using elden ring as an example for my points. with that in mind...
i want dlc for games that i love from companies that i trust to do well because that allows them to:
a. get the base game out faster
elden ring fans were dying for YEARS for the game to come out. if we waited for the dlc, that would've been another two years wait!
b. provide new content that will expand what i already love and know
shadow of the erdtree is genuinely bigger than some games on the market right now! additionally, i can drag the new stuff from the dlc back into the base game, and i can take my old stuff into the dlc!
c. continue an existing game's lifespan
elden ring, even after two years, still has oh so much content! to replace it with another game so soon would drastically harm the lifespan of elden ring. plus, by adding ONTO elden ring, they expanded the community AGAIN, bringing in new life instead of dragging life out.
on paying for the dlc, they have to clearly make the new content worth it, though. like i said, sote is the size of whole games! it was a fun additional forty hours just to clear the dlc ONCE without even FULLY exploring. that's worth the $40!
what about other games, though? let's compare that to remnant 2. the base game has five worlds with three of them providing two different story lines. it also has 88 weapons (including the free halloween update) and 11 different classes. each dlc adds one new storyline to a given world and a couple new weapons and armor with one new class each. that's worth a fifth of the whole game to them! that is a bit absurd.
with all that said, i think this is a good video! have a great day, evening and/or night!
@@shaxxmeer thanks! The only dlc I’ve actually bought was that of Pokémon games so I’m speaking from the bottom of the barrel with this stuff
@@Nido123 ohhhh yeah. those pokémon dlc could've been in the base game. keep s/v in the oven- i fell through the map repeatedly, personally- get the dlc done and get the game more polished before you demand MORE money for *that*!
on that note, nintendo is really bad at dlc. mk8 deluxe and smash ultimate is like

i paid $60 for what should be the definitive experience, and i have to shill how much for new maps/fighters?? i can still go against these guys online, so why are they being pay walled?!

N64 first console and taught me to love gaming. Many amazing moments alone and with others
But I don't like the graphics and I'm disappointed when newer indie gems I'm hyped for replicate N64/PS1 ..my hot take I guess
Super Mario Sunshine's Switch port is busted. Play it on GameCube for the best experience. The analog and digital control really does make that much of a difference. And sure this is coming from a really long time fan. But if you're playing it on the switch, it's really not going to feel like anything but a schlog to go for long in that game. 3D All Stars as a make wasn't that great in my feeling. And if you're playing SMS through the switch port you're really doing yourself the disservice.
Get a GameCube disc, or some other medium and play it on your Nintendo Wii with a proper GameCube controller. I promise you, you'll have a much better time.
@@binarystork7006 yeah the gcn controller does have those notches for more precise directions I have heard that makes parts of the game easier
@@Nido123 well it doesn't only make it easier. It makes it play as intended with the original design philosophy.
And if you're running it on a Nintendo Wii, load times are cut drastically from the initial hardware that it was first released on.
The switch is just emulating the GC hardware. It's really not that great of a port
Also DS ports of the original 3 sonic games aren't that good. The Mega drive collection or the original hardware are the best ways to go. Hope that helps you have a better experience with these games
sunshine in general isnt for everyone, but the controls of mario or the port are not the problems. or maybe it is idk i emulated it on my mac
The Dreamcast did the same thing with paks on controllers but much better.
@@Shmorgus I don’t really know too much about non Nintendo stuff so I honestly thought the Dreamcast controller only used the slot for the default screen thing that went in it
the dreamcast controller is atrocious i would take the n64 any day
Nah Mario party 9&10 m Are ass. Just because it’s different doesn’t mean it’s good. Imagine playing monopoly but everyone played with the same piece. It’s so stupid.
Yeah I see why people hate on it I just personally don’t hate it (I haven’t tried 10 so maybe that one is worse)
