I have nothing on top of my machine and my loads come out drenched like they never spun and they just tried to dry for hours on end. I’m frustrated. Help!!
I did notice that you had clothes folded on top of the machine. That’s exactly where the compressor sits and that retains heat which may cause the compressor to overheat while it’s trying to dry the clothes. I would not leave anything folded on top of the machine so that the metal could actually cool off/ breathe.
Sorry I didn't see your follow-up comment @maf11300. I keep it clear of clothes and other items, except for a bobblehead chicken that tells me if its out of balance :)
I would be willing to bet that because your sink was clogged and the water level was above the drain hose that possibly some of the water may have siphoned itself back into the machine after the drain cycle and sat in the bottom which would obviously circulate through the clothes and keep them from getting dried. The fact that you fixed the drain and now the clothes are dry would seem to indicate exactly that.
You’ve got a big comforter on top of the machine where it is trying to dissipate the heat. Remove the comforter and you will probably reduce the drying time. I have the same machine, and,do similar loads in a little over 2 hours.
@@sshady7272 really!? That had to have been on the machine and not your phone. Because how would that create an issue. And if it was on the machine, they need to make it so updates don’t happen when it’s running.
It’s the water with the detergent in it and I assume dirt 👀. That isn’t bad. I also have a Roborock vacuum and the dirty water tank is straight sewerage and it cleans the floor every night and the floor doesn’t even look dirty. LOL
Your video is more what not to do with this washer/dryer. The spec. on the washer/dryer are amazing. When we wing stuff without reading instructions and then blame the machine is unfair. My only comment is you really need to up grade your laundry sink system.
Thanks for the comment. The machine is pretty simple. Dirty clothes in, clean clothes out. The machine setup was done by the team that delivered it. The sink can’t be changed not our house.
@@btechstuffHmmm.... Wonder why it has separate cycles for towels, bedding, jeans, active wear, and such, given that it's such a "simple" machine. SMFH.
@@migbham1 well you are not wrong. I assume that towels need longer to dry given their nature. Jeans I would say get dirtier and can be agitated more than delicates. Bulky bedding also not so dirty and need more drying. Gotta pick your battles I suppose. Still for a house of kids who “forget” to swap laundry it’s a winner. 😂. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
Hey Michael thanks for watching and your comment. I have had several times observed the machine saying it will finish in a minute only to have the same minute span into the next hour. Opening the machine would result in wet steamy clothes. In that case it was most often the sink was full and was not allowing the draining to happen. For the most part I never stop the machine until it’s done
You’re mixing towels with other clothes, towels go with towels, pants, go with pants and some shirts, but never put towels with the regular clothes, It won’t dry evenly. Jeans should be washed with jeans because it’s the same material and it will dry evenly.
Hey zest! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I def do that. This was a mixed load test. To see what would happen. This happen to coincide with my drain sink being backed up resulting in wet clothes. Just so happen to have occur when I was doing the test. I truly believe that the machine is capable of mixed load wash and dry. Now that I fixed the drain issue. I am going to rerun the test. Be sure to look out for that video to see what happens
@@michaelplunkett8059 thanks for chiming in. I have my kids throw their entire 🧺 in and it’s done. Lights, darks, towels sheets. Works amazing. Only thing I do separate out are whites and new clothes that might bleed. I love this machine. Do you have one?

I noticed the clothes on top also. This could cause the unit to shut down the heat pump and, thus, no drying. Try to keep the top of the unit clear

Great point. On another note. If you love warm blankets!
I believe both. I have this machine. It works wonderful but a mixed load does dry wonky.
Had the same issue with mine, its NOT your sink or drain. Teck coming out next week....
Load sensing was on 6 hours.
For me that solved the problem. I also recently cleared the filter plug in the front. Please let us know what the tech says when they come out!
@btechstuff teck thinks the issue was updating the app during the cycle.....

Mine is doing the same thing. Trying to troubleshoot before I call a tech out. Shouldn’t be a problem in a pricey new machine!
@@Lynx2kat exactly
I wouldnt dry sheets with other clothes it will tangle and clothes will take longer to dry!
Thanks for the reply Peter. Yes I have seen more than not fitted sheets capturing everything and getting pretty twisted. This was a mixed load test.
Damn, what all is draining into that sink? Looks like sewage! 😳

It probably wasn't' draining properly, plus you definitely overloaded the machine. It's only 4.8 cu ft.
The machine said it wasn't finished and you stopped it prematurely

Good point. Also this machine has a downloadable jeans cycle, I’d like to see that in action.
@@RedErin I did download that one. I don’t have enough jeans at the moment to try it out.
Who does 3 tiny loads? Dark is dark. Regular dryer just runs till towels are dry.

Do you have one? What makes it a joke?
@@btechstuffIt's a joke only to people who suffer from contempt prior to investigation.
It takes me over 3 hours to do a load. Clothes are still wet.
