Did you install the latest firmware updates? I hear that improves drying time.

Is there water in the bottom of the tub? You can make sure that the sink that drains or drain pipe is not backed up preventing it from fully emptying the water. Also check the filter in the bottom front make sure you are ready for the water to come out

Newest update was installed. Assuming that is same as firmware. I will check for water in the tub but I don't there there is anything. No clogged drain and I only have the hose in 3 inches. I checked and cleaned the drain at the bottom of the machine near the floor. Idk what else to do. Clothes are not just "humid". I am having to take them to a friend's house to dry as well as hang dry them.

@@pppppppppp7749 if this is newly bought, might be a good idea to call the store you bought it from or GE.

Finally figured it out! There is a valve that sprays water in the wash cycle to get your clothes wet that is in the top left part of the blue door seal. That is consistently leaking during the entire dry cycle and even when everything is done. Part backordered but on its way. I wonder if a lot of people are having the same problem! Just wanted to give the update. Thanks

Hey @gnewt75. The only difference I have noted was a cosmetic one. There is a little “AI” icon on the screen sometimes. Performance wise I have not noticed anything yet.

For me that solved the problem. I also recently cleared the filter plug in the front. Please let us know what the tech says when they come out!

@@sshady7272 really!? That had to have been on the machine and not your phone. Because how would that create an issue. And if it was on the machine, they need to make it so updates don’t happen when it’s running.

Mine is doing the same thing. Trying to troubleshoot before I call a tech out. Shouldn’t be a problem in a pricey new machine!

Hey Michael thanks for watching and your comment. I have had several times observed the machine saying it will finish in a minute only to have the same minute span into the next hour. Opening the machine would result in wet steamy clothes. In that case it was most often the sink was full and was not allowing the draining to happen. For the most part I never stop the machine until it’s done

Thanks for the comment. The machine is pretty simple. Dirty clothes in, clean clothes out. The machine setup was done by the team that delivered it. The sink can’t be changed not our house.

@@migbham1 well you are not wrong. I assume that towels need longer to dry given their nature. Jeans I would say get dirtier and can be agitated more than delicates. Bulky bedding also not so dirty and need more drying. Gotta pick your battles I suppose. Still for a house of kids who “forget” to swap laundry it’s a winner. 😂. I noticed the clothes on top also. This could cause the unit to shut down the heat pump and, thus, no drying. Try to keep the top of the unit clear

Sorry I didn't see your follow-up comment @maf11300. I keep it clear of clothes and other items, except for a bobblehead chicken that tells me if its out of balance :)

It’s the water with the detergent in it and I assume dirt 👀. That isn’t bad. I also have a Roborock vacuum and the dirty water tank is straight sewerage and it cleans the floor every night and the floor doesn’t even look dirty. LOL

Hey zest! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I def do that. This was a mixed load test. To see what would happen. This happen to coincide with my drain sink being backed up resulting in wet clothes. Just so happen to have occur when I was doing the test. I truly believe that the machine is capable of mixed load wash and dry. Now that I fixed the drain issue. I am going to rerun the test. Be sure to look out for that video to see what happens

Good point. Also this machine has a downloadable jeans cycle, I’d like to see that in action.

Who does 3 tiny loads? Dark is dark. Regular dryer just runs till towels are dry.

@@michaelplunkett8059 thanks for chiming in. I have my kids throw their entire 🧺 in and it’s done. Lights, darks, towels sheets. Works amazing. Only thing I do separate out are whites and new clothes that might bleed. I love this machine. Do you have one?

Lowe’s.. they’re trying to make it right. It was definitely not installed correctly. But I wonder it that will fix it all together or did I get a defective one.

@@tommyhuynh9004 I haven’t had any issues. One thing you can check is making sure that the stabilization bolts from transport were removed from the back after unpacking. Did you see them take the bolts out when they got the machine in?

Yes the four bolts on the back were taken off.

Thanks for the comment resist. I’m getting better at this. The camera being at the end of the phone in landscape(which provides a better result) makes it a bit weird when you want to also make sure that you have yourself in frame. :)

@@btechstuff Try using a post it note with an arrow pointing to the camera.

@@Resist4 Last video I made, I actually made a point to look at the camera, just used peripheral vision to make sure my big ole head was still in frame. LOL

@@btechstuff There are easy setup tricks to ensure you are always in the frame without having to look at the display. But when using your phone if the camera is far enough away from you face, you can still look at yourself on the display and it still appear that you are looking into the lens. But you might have to edit it to bring the shot closer. But yeah when someone doesn't look into the camera lens while talking to their audience it's annoying.
