I wonder if Paulisima left Cancun for Mexico City because Cancun's climate is so hot. I only mention this as I met a young woman in Mexico City many years ago who had left Cancun for that very reason. And yes, I have also experienced Cancun's summer heat when on one of my visits, I touched an outside marble jacuzzi and burnt my hand because the heat of the sun made everything outside hot to the touch.
If I understand the phrase correctly, “la carne de burro no es transparente” reminds me of “you make a better door than a window”. I don’t hear people say it very often but it’s still a fun way to say please sit down or please move to the side.
Me encantan estos videos donde puedo aprender modismos y jerga, pero mi nivel de español ya es intermedio, y hablar inglés no es necesario. Me ayudaría más si hablaran solo en español. ¿Ya tienen videos para los que tienen un nivel intermedio? Si no, ¿pueden crear algunos?
Me tienes con el Jesus en la boca... I feel like it means that you're so worried that you're praying to Jesus, and you literally have his name in your mouth.
El que es perico dondequiera es verde es como "if you could make it here, you can make it anywhere" o "water is wet" casi como si fuera un hecho... O "never doubted you/it for a second" es otro

No Te Hagas Como Que La Virgen Te Habla. Can i say that to a spanish person thats pretending they dont understand me?
Young people from Mexico city "use" (not ''uses'') this phrase a lot.
ohhhh no lo dije mal de nuevo!
Why doesn’t good morning and good night endings match? 🤔.. BuenOS díAS. BuenAS nochES
Because días is masculine and noche is feminine
La forma correcta es ''us mexicans'' ;)
