my head cannon is that Julia is usually the nerd of the class but when there's a substitute teacher she joins forces with Karina the menace and Nathan feels bad for the substitute teacher so he goes along with him

I love that despite the fact that Julia is an undeniably skilled artist, something about these live draw episodes scrambles her brains and makes her forget every drawing fundamental she ever knew 😅
If they made her draw a cartoon/pop culture character in a specific pose I think steam would shoot out of her ears and Julia.exe would stop working.

I can't believe Julia had an absolutely perfectly acceptable action pose for that line, and then erased it, and then eventually ended up in the most complicated unhinged one, and decided to run with it.
as a dancer i did attempt a way to switch between karinas poses, low key not hard if I had longer arms. just plant hands down, lift hips, slide legs through, push hips to sky- done, youre welcome. have fun yall

Fun fact: in Spanish a ponytail is actually called a horse tail (cola de caballo). Although it usually gets shortened to "coleta" or "colita"
My theory of how Karina's two poses transition from one to the other is that he starts in the belly-up position and does a voldo special attack to launch himself sixty feet directly into the sky, flips 180° over till he's back-up instead of belly-up, then falls straight down to the ground and lands already completely prostrate in the second pose.
I think it would be doable "relatively" elegant if you bounce on a trampoline and switch positions mid-air.
I would date the "four artists draw one pose" episode, where Julia covered the whole thing in a big fog drape and it was very Art(tm) and the others were miffed she didn't do the assignment. Cuz that was my first Drawfee episode I ever saw, and it was love at first sight! :D

I literally started a daily exercise where I do quick poses based on action lines three days ago!
Can't wait to see how the real pros use them
For Karina’s it’s actually quite simple. Use your toes to anchor yourself to the ground and straighten your legs from the first position so that you are in plank position. Then using your ankle strength, pull your entire body up to standing and fall over backwards, using your arms out to brace. Once in bridge position, pull your hips up. Repeat a number of times that feels required
This video is already making me laugh so hard. "I'm already engaged in the artistic process, you a**holes!!"

Drawing suggestion: draw each other into an isekai. Example- Nathan is king of dinosaurs in a prehistoric world; Karina uses a Digimon deck in a YuGiOh-esque dimension; Julia is a Drawtective in an isekai full of vampires; and Jacob is the leader of a bunch of little guys rebelling against hot villains.

i'm sure that if you dig enough, you'll find at least one "functional training coach" who'll tell you that it's not a squat with horrible form, it's a perfect staggered stance half-twisted hip-hinge good morning, and it's SO MUCH BETTER because it works on multiple planes and adds instability and.... (3 hours later he's still talking, something about how his feet have become prehensile)
I was so expecting Karina to just draw a perfect circle for Julia's line
