Nathan’s Render is so perfect, I can barley tell where the album cover stops and where the drawing begins and it’s perfect

This is definitely an episode you can do over and over with new album covers. The fortunate thing is there are nearly infinite albums out there. You’ll never run out of ones to do. You could even put two on one canvas and figure out how to connect them

Okay so I worked out the harmony. Jacob is singing a F# and Nathan sings a E then a D#. The interval is a minor 7th then a major 6th (plus an octave).
It’s hard to describe the harmony further without musical context. But given that Julia was drawing a King Crimson album at the time I’ll assume y’all were singing an F#7add13 chord functioning and the V chord in the key of B major.

@@Safiyahalishah ...not just us artists o.o have you seen the vid that was released about AI and how it can write a code hella fast to find holes in cyber security? It is everyone's problem and it needs to have a bunch of controls/parameters put on it or else we are going to get into even MORE ethical errors than already exists not just art theft, but in morality as well as legalities. Companies will do ANYTHING to shortcut whatever to save as much as they can no matter who it hurts.
This is also a big issue when it comes to writing/acting (thus the strike) but we will see some MAJOR human rights issue pop up with this tech (though many human rights are already being exploited saying the corrupt Supreme Court our checks and balances are hanging by a thread if not gone).
I was _so_ ready to share the drawings from this ep with my dad, who doesn't know Drawfee but *does* love the last two albums. And then Julia goes and does THAT.

There is a part of this melodic death metal song, Gyroscope by In Flames, that sounds like the vocalist screams, "Butthole!" every single time, even though I know that isn't the lyric.
"I bronze my thighs easily" instead of "a broze moth dies easily". Once someone pointed that out it's all I can hear.
I've been listening to Manic Street Preachers for over a decade and being a fan of them was crucial to me learning english, but I *still* hear most of the lyrics just plain wrong (and have certain words stuck in my head in their (sung!!) welsh pronounciation...)
//also, since Jacob got me into The Protomen, one misheard lyric I accepted as completely valid is "How proud I am" instead of "Hope rides alone" even though it makes zero sense in the story of the album.

Example- Nathan is king of dinosaurs in a prehistoric world; Karina uses a Digimon deck in a YuGiOh-esque dimension; Julia is a Drawtective in an isekai full of vampires; and Jacob is the leader of a bunch of little guys rebelling against hot villains.

I got it! The Mars Volta and Coheed & Cambria were the soundtrack of my high school years, and here they are in one place. The first time in Drawfee history that an obscure (ish?) reference was just for me. I feel a little bit cooler now 😎 😅

This is the start of my petition to King Crimson to release a sequal to 'In the Court of the Crimson King' and to use Julia's render as the album cover (including the Mars Volta cover in it).

De-Loused in the Comatorium is one of my all time favorite albums, and Nathan's render does it justice beautifully. I'd love to see a return to this prompt, but with each of the hosts choosing the album covers for each other.

I immediately recognized "A Favor House Atlantic," as sung by Julia. What a wonderful call by a brilliant person, and those that didn't get it are missing out. If you like proggy pop music, then Coheed & Cambria is the band you never knew you needed! All but one album are part of a singular space opera written by the vocalist, and they have accommodating comics and music to flesh out their story! What a great musical pull by an incredible TH-camr on an amazing video. ^^

I kept the video paused for a good while to appreciate Julia's render. The style and color matching is great - as is the joke.

I grew up with this Chanel, and have watched you since 2014. and you all inspired me to get into art. and now years later I’ve become an artist, and I love that I spotted an anatomy mistake in Julia’s art, and saw her fix it as the render faded in.
I know that’s kind of mean, but I feel proud of how far I’ve come with art, that I can notice stuff like that. And seeing Julia make the same change I would, fires me up to keep working harder and improve.
Oh also for anyone curious the anatomy “mistake” was just the way the outer palm connects to the wrist
