What about data analyst roles in future? As I am pursuing that and worried about future!
@@ManuRK007 instead of data analyst do data engineering bro
@@ManuRK007 Whatevert role you study for just have a mindset of upgrading skills. With that mindset you will succeed even when things change. Infact NOBODY can tell what trends will catch up in 2-3 years so the only thing that can help is your mindset.
I was interviewing for a full stack engineers , lots of TCS Infosys people interviewed they are fundamentally unclear how genAI works , what is tokenisation, whether LLMs are supervised or unsupervised, not even good promt engineering . We work a lot on the Agents and hierarchal teams of agents in a mixture of agents setting. If someone is expecting a 30L salary with equity we can’t hire and retrain …. I see a fundamental difference in the GenAI engineers , Humanity background people with MCA from Igou have better grasp of prompt engineering than engineers of IT services companies.
Excellently explained introspective QA !
Gen AI awarness is like watching a 20 min video. Anyone using Chat GPT is pretty much Gen AI aware 🙂
agree!!!!
company trainings are bs
That enough
You using Chat GPT mean you working and Using AI.
Its like saying you know how to build car if you can drive 😂
There is really boh hard times coming up! Payoff will be very common! It's not due to yours fault or skill gap but due mismanagement of upper level management who gets high salary for no skills
Upper level management will get erased by AI if they really achieve what they are saying 😂
Well logically if there are much less tech people, who would these huge number of managers be managing?
most of the middle and upper management are actually useless......they take salary and facilities equivalent to 10 skilled tech ppl for nothing
@@blackswordsman9745 When AI come to know that it's their Managers who are uselessly not Improvising anything in the process, product or organization they will eradicate the obstacles 😂
Google did try an experiment where they removed mid level managers and projects tanked. Middle managers add value, but just like democracy, we get the managers we deserve ! If someone in 10 years of work ex hasn’t met good managers perhaps the question is are you that good yourself ?
Cognizant should be grilled by some authorities. They have delayed 2023 batch joining by 1 year and now took 1 hackerrank assessment and terminated 95% students.
Well the NITES has launched some cases against Infosys and some other companies. You should talk to Harpreet Singh Saluja
Being a data scientist myself, all this ai hype is bullshit . Except a few companies like openai most of them won't be using ai this much , they prolly be renting ai created by a few companies.
I agree
The only ai integration we are doing is integrating copilot in our intellij ide
Companies are restricting access to their apis which these ai companies use to mine data, this will throttle ai companies models.
Ai is a hoax.
I agree the hype is much but surely many companies are using AI, probably you have not been exposed to it hence your opinion. Sure OpenAI and Google kinds of core AI work is not as prevelant just like any other software like OS development, etc. But many companies have started building upon the models available by fine-tuning them existing models
Don't worry, meta AI is in WhatsApp. The whole Microsoft AI is in Ms office. Companies will cutoff burden of BI tools and analysts by just using office. Which needs no Special expertise, Now everyone is a Data Analyst (This is the problem)
as i had already mentioned in one of my comments, though 67 yrs, I still have the zest for knowing things, especially what is happening in the business environment, management side and the latest buzz of AI. what i am writing now or commenting now is strictly an opinion which can be light years away from the reality there in the market.
I feel either the top managements are themselves not very clear as to what will be the long term impact of AI / AGI as technology leaps forward OR they are fully aware of what is going to hit the industry, but are keeping cards close to their chests to avoid undue employee related headaches. either way the employee gets hit in the bargain ultimately. sir - educate these young crowd about the things in the technology space and continue the good work for their betterment. regards
Tcs does not believe in paying salaries beyond 3 lacs they generally give 4 to 6 percent as salary hikes. And call 5 days a week in traffic and say we will monitor 8 hours. God help them in age of technology when they say 5 days and 8 hours and by standards pay very poor hikes to engineers. They need to refocus on employee benefits for finding returns or else each one just complain on tcs payment scales.
I disagree, I joined as TCS Digital. Got straight double digit hikes twice.
There's a lot greener side.
Totally agree with you
They are interested in earning odc revenue by selling it to clients and taking sez subsidies from government and another one for hiring low paid labour
@@poojandalal6028 that's great congratulations. But overall they are bas paymasters or it would not be so much up there on insta to youtube they did podcast on hiring. .. but 5 days work at remote paces and metro is too costly hence the complains. But congratulations ur doing great
Why TH-camrs are obsessed with annoying and unnecessary background music?

Top position is enjoying the salary & luxury hotels.
Hi Pavan Sir,
This clearly shows that the giant IT service companies will have a tougher time ahead if they don't adapt quickly. Hence, students graduating from college shouldn't solely depend on them for mass recruitment.
Add to the situation, PwC has already estimated that by Year 2025, India will see- 1900 GCCs with a market size of $60 bln.
I think a deeper focus on fields like cybersecurity & cloud computing, etc (+) targeting mid/small sized IT product & ER&D companies might be the best strategy for students entering into this industry!
Absolutely correct!! Fresh grads should think of taking the initial learning curve rather than getting into a IT giant and learn as much as possible in their initial careers. One big mistake which I made was joining one of the IT giant right Outta college.
well said
Actually none of the services companies will create their own LLMs. So what they will do is re-use the Opensource LLMs/using the APIs shared by microsoft/google/oracle in their cloud services. You would need lot of resources to create an LLM from scratch like renting GPU optimising those LLMS . Generally services companies dont invest in enhancing core tech they just reuse tech. That's how it has been , in many such companies they will teach how to use the GEN AI apis(code)/tool(ui) etc . I guess this is good enough as of now. We have to see and wait more, to see how things unfold , main point of worries are these AI agent (still in development) how these agent pan out and work will be the deciding factor. If done correctly they have the potential to automate many type of jobs . I actually dont know how this will convert to economics . I know only the tech part partially from whatever I am reading over the net.
gpt, codex are the best llm model, research show that..even better than google t5.. i guess no one will dare to challenge openai for the next decade.. they will just use, langchain connecting with open ai services.. thats it..
I think they might have completed some Gen AI courses.
Skilled in genai ?they do internal course which ans are there on youtube 😂
I'm not surprised at all Pavan. This is bound to happen
I sold all shares in IT servies, TCS or Infosys is no Google or Amazon.
All IT companies do not own any business data like Healthcare, Insurance, Bankint, Lifesciences, Logistics etc. AI is all about data, it is also about devices as in Robotics but IT companies do not do those stuffs. So these companies talk about GenAI to act smart. It's an essentially labour arbitrage business, selling few heads and earning commission money
Lots of uncertainty in IT SECTOR
Yes
What's AI?
Except for full form or erotic AI baseless factless dreams they know nothing
How's ai gonna help them to speedup software delivery, how ai gonna help clients or product to be topper in market noone has answers
Lot of pressure also in IT sector.
Indian IT services company will be displaced soon like Kodak film company which were tall till late 90s until entry of digital cameras started booming in early 2000s. One need to have ready products/Frameworks built or build hardware like IBM which never happened and also need to invest on real hard skills for people which also didn't happen.
With billions of dollars in profits. Why can’t Infosys or tcs build one single global level product ?
@@vividlearner7427 they dont have real engineers
@@pritech8302 that’s ok, but they don’t even try.
I remember Anand Mahindra from tech Mahindra challenged open AI CEO on his comments over language models and Indian companies.
12 months down the line what happened? Now even WhatsApp has an AI chat bot, what about Indian companies?
Bro .. i m also developer .. i know the situation of indian developers.. mostly don't know anything.. even we lacks creativity.. bcz our education system is based on english
@@vividlearner7427 bro don't except anything from companies like tech mahindra..
Thanks Sir for sharing your thoughts and recommendations.
Awesome video very short and crisp .. pls do more videos
4:22 sir what about development ? Is not genAi affecting this one also?
My company also started the Gen AI training. Currently they are doing testing trials. By end of the year they'll implement this in few client projects. Next year 2025 they will implement Gen AI fully and each of the existing employees who got trained will get access to all the Gen Ai tools. So expect less hiring next year.
Hi Pavan,
Very useful industry updates from you.
What is the meaning of All Things Data in list of 5 technologies that you showed us in the video.
Please reply.
I recently got into AI and the 1st project is on making a tool that is directly impacting the QA team. I was previously working as a full stack dev now I think the UI/UX will soon get impacted as tech companies are investing very heavily on UI/UX dev through AI.
Designers or f.e developers?
.What are the chances of b.e engineers?
How it impacted the qa team ? Can you please elaborate a little
Ui/ux is obvious to impacted by ai because it gives much better design than human
Team of 10 will shrink to 2
@@sinchanchatterjee7724 It will not generate unnecessary bugs
Heyy Ashutosh
I am working on a project where I am using AI to make QA Automation process 10x faster
What exactly are you working on , does it not involve QA itself
Infosys is an amazing organisation, took my 3 interviews and on clearing them offered me a package almost 1/2 of what it was then.
Wasted good amount of my time.
Well AI employer is trained to save money!
Boss u missed AR VR, as I'm a young kid looking for loop customer s in these tech.
Organization are giving training to freshers in Gen AI. Do they have basic knowledge about IT process? Do they have basic knowledge in SDLC? 😢
Theses all things is useless if don't pay to your employees
The only benifit i see(as of now) is to integrate copilot in our respective IDEs
When will jobs and companies be less about share holders and more about nation building.
In our client townhall - all the questions are scripted. And you are saying that the AGM questions were tough ?
right sense
I was once inside infosys campus for a tech event. Infosys was about to present a new e-classroom product they’ve been developing. Man literally showed us 502 on a massive screen in their auditorium and ended the presentation.
AL ke ilava bhi business segment hai so not to be scared off
The background music is overpowering the content of this video.
Whats your take on DevOps future? I haven't seen AI penetration in DevOps
Gen AI awareness course was a mandatory course in infosys, majority would have just done that
have done bcom have interested in ai data science bcuz of current demand and future growth but confused what to do mtech in ai data science vs mba in ai data science which is more valuable degree and which give you more package according to current demand and future prespective which degree among above has more corporate power buz many engineer do their mba even after they do btech from iit bombay and is it possible to do mtech after bcom from top colleges
bcom students can't do mtech directly
IT career is a just part of earning not a life and about their questions and answers are business so guys, plan for happy and peaceful life not to addict doing a job and feeling it as a life....job is just a part of role.
Please tell about wipro also
Hello sir I am 22 year engineering drop out . I am interested in data science, data analytics. I want to pursue career in this field start a company in this field what to do sir please reply 🙏🙏🙏
Functional AI skill would be 1 %. I have been upskilling so I know
What is All things Data
Hi Sir ,
Can you find videos about US companies offering internships with the possibility of H-1B work visa sponsorship or other ways to work abroad?
Do not even dream of it, every single it employee dreams to go there but out of a billion maybe 1 or two could have, others get there through education
But one thing remains unchanged is tcs salary
AI expertise is no joke. It required smart programming and deep mathematical model and statistical knowledge requirements. Very few are competent .
my son wants to make career in cybersecurity.. can some one give some ideas / suggestions in this domain. from where can he start learning the subject
Learn hacking
TCS 100% 4200 within 2 months...see recent contracts
I tend to disagree here on the part where AI has the ability to impact SDLC. AI is bound to completely disrupt the whole SDLC in a major way; especially the Prototyping and Development bit. With more and more data being combed through by ever more sophisticated GPTs customised for a specific use case, its only a matter of time when the only activity left for humans would be the ideation bit. The whole IT services industry is bound to face massive headwinds and only time would tell how they're able to pivot to a fresh set of business opportunities that AI may or may not present. All in all, they would find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place.
It would be interesting when somebody says no, we are not future ready
Real truth - "Gen AI ready" was just 2-3 LinkedIn/Udemy course completion.
Plus things like gpt and dall-e are blocked in company network lol
Developer and testers won't be needed in as many numbers as currently needed. Especially for new projects AI based development is extremely quick.
maintenance applications won't be impacted in near future since the benifits of AI are not that significant compared to new development.
Another thing to remember is that learning AI is not about creating LLM, that is with the top companies, it is aboutusing AI to get your job done quickly and smartly. Frameworks like GPT Pilot have enabled creating virtual teams to take care of end to end development asking with complete documentation , and best part is that it works like an agile team.
The TH-cam comment presents an opinion that contains both accurate insights and points that are debatable:
Accurate Insights:
AI-Based Development Speed:
New Projects: AI can indeed speed up the development of new projects. Tools like AI code assistants, automated testing, and AI-driven development platforms can reduce the time required to write and test code.
Maintenance Applications:
Impact on Maintenance: The comment correctly notes that maintenance applications might not be as significantly impacted in the near future. Maintenance often involves dealing with legacy code, debugging, and incremental updates, which can be more complex for AI to handle efficiently compared to creating new code from scratch.
Debatable Points:
Reduction in Developer and Tester Numbers:
Demand for Developers and Testers: While AI can assist in development and testing, the need for skilled developers and testers is unlikely to diminish drastically. AI tools are more likely to augment human capabilities rather than replace them entirely. Developers and testers will still be needed to oversee AI tools, manage complex tasks, and handle creative and critical thinking aspects of development.
AI Limitations: AI tools are not perfect and often require human intervention to handle edge cases, understand business logic, and ensure quality.
Significance of AI Benefits:
Comparative Impact: The benefits of AI in development might be more significant than suggested. AI can enhance productivity, improve code quality, and reduce time-to-market. However, the extent of these benefits can vary depending on the complexity of the project, the domain, and the existing development practices.
In summary, while the comment captures some valid trends about AI in software development, it may overestimate the extent to which AI will reduce the need for human developers and testers in the near future. The role of AI is more likely to be complementary, enhancing human productivity and efficiency rather than replacing human roles entirely.
WiPro : Mera number Kab Aayega ??? 😂🤣
Saare freshers ki baddua lagegi tcs ko
TH-camrs are also going to be replaced by AI very soon
Change is permanent; everything else is temporary. AI too :P
hope so!! don't want it to become the next electricity or computer type mandatory stuff:)
Stupidest logic ever.
Coz accenture could train only 45k out of 7 lakh ppl, Infosys claim of 2 lakh trained ppl is wrong.
