Love seeing all your snow adventures and visit with Callie’s birth mom! I started watching your videos when you were adopting Callie! Time flies! Your girls are so big and beautiful! My news is that I just finished my chemotherapy treatment for Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and I am cancer free!!! Praise the Lord!
I live in Nova Scotia. Usually the back country roads get sanded instead of salted. The more urban areas are definitely salted. Salt affects the well water in the country areas. Throwing sand down around your driveway will help with driving and walking.
It's amazing to me how much Kinsley looks like Philip and Callie looks like Alex. I love that the birth moms are able to be involved in their lives and the girls know how much they are loved. You are both awesome parents and all of your girls are extremely blessed. God gave you the most precious gifts and you thank Him by raising them to be loving, caring, compassionate and thankful. God bless you all !!! 💙❤️❤️❤️❤️ !!!!!
What an Excellent Vlog Phil, Alex, Kinsley, Calle & Cassidy... Thank you for sharing... So SPECIAL to see the girls with their birth mom's every now & then... You both are AMAZING Parents... So excited to see Buttercups Calf... I wonder if she will surprise you again... Hugs & Blessings to you all 🙏❤️💙💖💖💖🤗✝️
Oh how the children have grown❤️! Can’t wait to see the little new calf. My life’s been sad lately ,my mother past away and so much to take care of with my father who has some dementia , but misses my mama so much😢. God is good though . 🕊
Just what my heart needed today....a video from the cutest family!! Here in north Idaho we had minus 17 degrees and 17 inches of snow. Thankfully, the temps have been in the high 30's and 40's this week so the snow has melted enough that we can see the grass. Can't believe how much those adorable girls have grown....I so enjoy their happy giggles.💜
thank you for sharing. we just got approved to homeschool our 6 year old son this year. we are loving the connection and journey we are on learning together. thank you for your faith and example.
Hello ya'll Thanks so much for the update. Ive watched the girls grow along with you. They are becoming lovely beautiful little and young girls. I'm so happy to share the snow this year. I believed we had about 20 inches all total for the season so far. Sunless cold days. I only missed one day of church.Yah. I don't like to miss. I still attended Awanis. I help in the kitchen. I'm 63 now :( Its ok though. Remember me in your prayers I'm having a total knee the end of Feb. Love to all Denah
Oh my goodness old friends are back with a video. It's ok that it has been awhile, I understand that doing life is more important than entertaining the masses. The love you both have for your girls is so much like the Heavenly Father, but the love you pour into their birth Momma's is amazingly God breathed. Thank you for showing the love of Christ in all you do. The SNOW!!!! WOW how exciting. That last two times Cassidy coming down the hill, she was smoking 😂. God bless you all!!! It was really great seeing yall again. Take care until next time.
I loved how you did this video. Your voice is so calming, and I really enjoyed hearing about what is going on in your family. May God keep blessing your family❤
This snow storm was crazy. It’s not like this every winter 🥶. I was blessed in that my husband could get me to work in a4 wheel drive truck The hospital where I work in the kitchen paid us an extra $100 a day if we could make it in Plus I got an overtime day on top of that. This was a huge blessing that we really needed. God will supply our needs in ways we could never imagine ❤
I live in Wisconsin and this is the first time in 50 years we have never had snow and the weather isn'the 40s and 50s. It is unbelievable all the states like yours seems to be getting all of Ours The world is screwed up but I love it. I hate snow.
My favorite song and reminds me of my daughter when she was little and I cherished every moment. Let them be little by Amanda Faith! I absolutely love this song. I play it when I look back at her pictures, now she’s 29.🙏🏼🥰
I am glad you guys made it through the storm ok. So sweet to see everyone, Kingsley is so precious and mature and growing up!! I loved hearing her talk. And Callie always a precious soul. And Cassidy is really funny :) Thank you for being such an encouragement!
You are loved, too 💖💖💖💖💖. We have missed you and when I saw your video tonight I got so excited!!! This is the first winter you got to experience so much snow and you really had fun in it with the girls making memories. Thought of you from Illinois when cold and snow was forecast for Tennessee. Happy to hear you all survived. Love each of you to pieces. All my love, Linda in Crete, Illinois 💖 Stay safe!
Snow ice cream brings back some fond memories of my growing up in the late 50"s and 60"s. I did not know anyone else who made it. Thanks for the memory.
So glad Callie's birth mum got to come out and see you all, and that you managed to dodge the worst of the weather for that. You snow days looked so much fun. I honestly cant remember the last time in snowed here deep enough to go sledging. I hope all the animals are getting through the cold ok
Beautiful video, I wish I had your guidance many years ago raising my sons. They are wonderful young men now, but I didn’t give them chores to gain the confidence I think would have helped them more in life. I heard about all the snow in Tennessee and thought of you guys, praying you are all safe and animals survived such cold weather.
You two amaze me!! Look how far you’ve come since your condo in CA!!! The girls are getting so so big and I ❤ you all! Can’t wait to see Buttercups new calf! ❤❤❤
Love the way you guys are just so patient with those beautiful girls, I gain so much parenting inspiration and encouragement watching your sweet family. 😊
I loved all of Cassidy's big goofy giggles!! It's so fun to have that glimpse at her personality. Kinsley and Callie are looking so grown up, too!! We just finished reading Little House in the Big Woods after I remembered your girls raving about it, and it was a big hit! We also started The Good and the Beautiful homeschool curriculum to prep for officially starting Kindergarten this fall.
I love watching you guys in all of your adventures. I was born and raised in Kentucky. It truly is a lot of hard work in the winter…but well worth it. I live in Florida now. I would love to have your sour dough starter recipe and the sour dough cookie recipe. Thanks in advance.
A. thanks for sharing about birth mom!! (just hearing the fact that there's still a special connection!) also if possible please mention that February is CHD (congenital heart defect/disease month) - as both Cassidy and Phil have CHD! (as well as 1/100 babies are born with CHD and CHD requires life long care/follow up)
Hello Phil and Alex I have missed you all , I am so happy buttercup has her new baby 😊❤ your snow days look like so much fun ! I live in Texas it was very cold 12 degrees but because it didn’t rain we didn’t get snow just ice from the dew in the morning.
We got a ton of snow a few weeks ago in Nebraska as well. Work for me was called off 3 days in one week! I made chili and finished a paint by numbers during my time off. I had to make a few grocery store trips and luckily I live just 1 block from a Target and a grocery store so I bundled up and walked there instead of driving. I think I walk to the store more in the winter months than the warm months 😂
No snow were i live wee island in Scotland the salt kills it we had mild winter but windy gales rain feery s were off some daysxblessings hope new baby this year as your the best parents 🙏💕😂🐢🐉🦕👸🧚🧚🌟🌞😉🍪🫖☕😉
Wow..! Beautiful commentary ..! Listening to your vlog having a cup of coffee watching the snow outside gives me goosebumps..! Great work guys.. Thanks for sharing a beautiful part of your life. Really enjoyed watching 3 precious angels🎉Love From Canada.
I got iced in here in Texas for about 2.5 days. There was still ice on the roads when I went back to work but it wasn't as bad. I definitely got stir crazy because I didn't have much to do. I was happy to see that y'all got to visit Callie's birth mom. I don't remember seeing many visits from her through out the years, so I can imagine that it was a very special time together.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us, my ♥️misses a beat when I see you have posted a vlogg, cos I really miss you seeing each of you💗💗💗💗💙You are a truly amazing wonderful family, Sending love & blessings to each of you from your friend Annie 🇬🇧 🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗
It's been pretty cold and a bit snowy up here in Massachusetts. Of course, we're used to the snow as we get it a lot. But for most of January, it's been unseasonably warm. Has to do with climate change I think. My daughter lives with me and is all grown up now. I enjoy watching your girls grow. Lots of love.
Awe ❤I love that you guys connect so openly with the birth moms! Its a refreshing sight since theres just not content like that out there really.🥰😍😁🫶 I haven't gotten to see my daughters in years..💔 .i wish my family were as open & loving & PEACEFUL as yours is... 😢 my oldest daughter is essentially being held captive by my parents, so i don't get to see her either 😭 Not sure how im supposed to be able to show that i am able 2 be a good mother, when im continuously denied the chance to be her mother lol 😑😪🤔
I am so curious on your home school routine and how you got into it? The school systems are so broken and it’s hard for me to send my boys to school anymore. 😢
I live in East Tennessee. Knoxville to be exact. Where we live in the county we got about 9 in of snow and then the cold hit with ice on top of the snow. The news said about eight people died here in Knoxville during that snow storm. Quite a few of them froze to death because they had no heat.
Love your beautiful family. Black ice is not fun. I fell and broke my wrist on it. I live in Virginia and we don't get a lot of snow. So thankful that Callie got to see her birth mom.
What a beautiful video. Been following Phil & Alex for quite some time now. This is by farup there with the best. Wonderful to see a family thriving. Love, hugs & much joy ❤ 🇬🇧

I am staying warm!! Unfortuantely for you, you got the snow and I didnt!! This has been a very unusual winter for Michigans Eastern U.P.!! I had 9 inches total this winter. Great narration job Phil. With your background as a pastor, you should think about starting a sermon style podcast. (As if you aren't already busy enough! 😜) I would totally listen to your podcast though if you had one!
Glad you stayed safe. Last week we had fog, and rain that turned to sleat and snow. That made the road I live on 6 inches of sludge with ice under it. Ended up with a car in the river beside our home. Took the tow truck about 30 mins to get him out during this time someone side swiped our apple tree. Plows went by but it was coming down faster then they could make passes from stop sign to stop sign about 5 miles. Also it was foggy still so it was great fun trying to drive at 3:30am. I bet both north moms loves when you put out videos so they can watch all three of your girls grow through them.
A healthy open adoption is great to see. I'm adopted and not everyone can have a great open adoption like this! Different day and age for sure.
Hi, have you see the water dish in an old tire with some spray foam to keep it from freezing! It isn’t perfect but it helps

Was just thinking about you guys this week. Miss seeing your videos. Looks like you made so many special memories! ❤
Been waiting to see and hear about buttercups baby!!! Can’t wait !
I loved seeing your snow video! I live in Central Alberta Canada, 2.5 weeks ago we had a polar vortex(cold air stream from the north pole) come though. We had 3 days at -46C(-58.6F). We also live in the country on an acreage and we were out doing chicken and farm chores as well as hauling wood for the wood burning stoves. It was so cold our propane gelled causing our central heat furnace to go out. 2.5 weeks later we at at+12C(53.F) and it feels like spring! Frosty eyelashes are something I am very familiar with and remember fondly from childhood.
Now that is some good parenting ❤
We had 80” here in suburb of Buffalo.
