Because of this video i just ordered some twinkly squares 🙈 . My jaw dropped when i sawyour panel . Unfortunately i couldnt get them from your link to support the channel but I will be getting a nano cube next and ill make sure i go through your link. Plus you picked up another sub.
I have 64 of these. Twinkly promised a screen mirroring update 2 years ago, but still hasnt released it yet. Very disappointed in this company. They are very hard to hang when u want a huge display.
There's a noticable performance issue in several parts of the video where you could see the panels struggling to keep smooth video playback. Did you only see this happening with specific settings, or did it happen seemingly at random? The stuttering of the panels would make it a no go for me, sadly
I have a 4x4 layout of Twinkly Squares and do not experience any stuttering whatsoever during effects playback. If you preview an effect without applying it you can see some stuttering, but once applied its smooth as butter.
The playback is pretty clean, some of the shots were indeed filmed from the previews and not after the effect had been uploaded to the device itself locally.
For the same reason that people buy a sports car vs a car that gets them from point a to point b. Fun piece of equipment that is different from anything else you have in your room setup.
I hear you, but it's quite a dramatically different look than having a TV. Plus you can configure to any shape or size, you don't even have to connect them. But yes, not exactly a budget item.

Just so everyone is aware, doing the math, that horizontal panel on the left is almost $1k for all those panels...
Really not worth it 😂

All these free products must be nice lol
after 10 years of pleading, you've finally done it. thank you
Lol! Enjoy. They are easily one of my favourite lighting pieces in my space now!
Not only do i love the stuff you review, but that room is awesome, such a cool setup you have.
Thanks Eric, appreciate the support!
It was all free.
Psychedelic💯❤💯brother you amazing 👏 🤩 nice video brother.
many greetings, friend🇬🇷🇨🇦
Hey man! Thanks for watching, definitely psychedelic!
If you do a 4x4 layout you can display 32x32 GIFs at full resolution…

What do you think of this lighting style, would you put it in your space!?
Pretty cool but very expensive if you wanted a decent wall size
Can you sync these with your desktop? That would be cool to mirror games and movies on them while you're playing.
I believe you can actually with Omen Light Studio. You can do game/movie sync and a bunch of other cool stuff with the entire Twinkly suite.
Yes, using Twinkly’s Desktop app for PC or Mac will allow you to Screen Mirror.
I wish these had an OPTIONAL matte piece you could put on top for a smoother less blocky look like they did on the Lifx tiles
Hi what is that cube light you have in your video?
Looks like a HyperCube from Hyperspace Lighting Company
Do you mean this one? th-cam.com/video/fe87VyOeJF0/w-d-xo.html
Or the one I talk about near the end here: th-cam.com/video/nd2Y5cerInU/w-d-xo.html
@ thank you so much for replying. I watched the video in the link about the hyperscubes. It’s definitely something. Very cool. All the best

$880 list price for 3 x 10 dimension. Why not just buy a TV at that price point? I'm sure there are plenty of pixel art videos on youtube lol.
