It seems like BJ is getting more comfortable with the camera and I enjoy his perspective on farm projects
I wholeheartedly agree!
Yeah, what he said .
Yeah nice to hear from the intelligent brown how things work every once in a while
Didn’t realize dad and I were not intelligent
@@BriansFarmingVideos Josh must be a browns fan 😅
I like it when BJ gets the camera once in a while
Great job running the enforcer BJ
Nice to see BJ doing some filming. Always enjoy his take on things.
I can’t remember the exact hours but I know on forming fixing and fabricating. He talked about having to replace those water pumps every few thousand hours.
2-2500 is what I was told
Great with BJ on the lead he does great work in front of the camera
Sound deadening mat will help some inside with the heat but not alot because the aluminum is on top when installed inside cab. I did my steiger and it was so so . To really block the heat it must be installed on the exterior bottom of cab. ALL 4 WHEEL Drive tractors, the floor gets hot . Just the nature of design. It's a lot of heat under there. Alot. I spent alot of time in deere 4wd 9520s to 9rs.
What I came here to say as well. The insulation needs to be on the bottom of the cab with foil facing the heat source
@@robo1210Me too, I browsed the comments and was going to say the same thing.
Good video BJ. Wear beach sandals in that tractor
So.... you disconnected the John Deere R model hot plate...and...left no spot to brew coffee...for shame...luv u lads.
Hello friend good evening my friend 👍👍👍❤❤❤❤
Great Video, Good to see BJ solved the overheating issues, thanks for sharing
Nice video BJ, you improve with each video & we appreciate that, keep on mate, from the 🇬🇧 UK.
On a radiator that gets dirt packed in it using air from the back side really works well
Here in Germany everything is dripping wet, if i would drive in the field i would just move some muddy chunks around until i get stuck after 5 minutes. In my area we have a lot of clay in the soil, so it it very sticky and can contain a lot of water.
The man gives me springfever for sure ,thanks BJ, and also the chief of the channel, greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
great video BJ..thank you
Great video once again!
Great video, keep them coming!
Great video BJ and Brian
Larson farms love their pro force
B.J, use a bug sprayer with Dawn and water to wet the fins, then rinse!
Great video Brian
Good video.
great video
Hey BJ if your still getting hot feet check the hood seal by he windshield and the exhaust heat shield. Had the same issue on a 9560 we had and it was a missing exhaust shield by the cab that didn't get put back on when the turbo was replaced. The windshield would also get so hot you couldn't even put your hand on it, the seal for the hood was half off by the windshield so all the heat from the motor made the windshield hot
Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy your videos, interesting, informative and educational. Great job BJ.
BJ got the hot footzies Great Vid 👍👍👍👍🍺🍺🍺🍺
BJ is worried about sound in the cab, he should do old school and run an open station Oliver 1950 with a 453 Detroit for a few days and he'll think a little different about his noise complaint. Lol Love the content guys. Keep up the good ag work.
most likey you have water in your airlines you need to put some Air Brake Air Line Antifreeze and Conditioner right in your gladhands then pump your brakes a few times
thank you
Nice car on the rack!!
BJ is one cool dude
Hope you don’t get sick and you keep turning and burning diesel
That bouncing on that truck is a great way to test out the durability of your u joints
Nice video BJ. Thanks for sharing.
another great video!
Be careful BJ you are getting pretty dam good on filming Brian might just put a camera in your hand all the time. To both of you keep up the great content it’s great to watch both of you👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
BJ is getting more comfortable talk on the channel wishes great. Good job 😊
Ha! That's a good cold open to a video!
Try purple power degreaser when cleaning those radiators. We found it really loosens that dirt in the fins up and lets it wash out a little easier. Great videos!
Tip from a trucker lay a 4x4 block in front of the axle and you won't need anything. Pull forward and it will bust that liner from the drum.
Great job BJ
BJ, if that doesn’t work, try putting some carpet scraps even the carpeted bathroom mats in there. Cheap and can’t hurt.
Great job spreading lime Brian
BJ blow out the dust first. Then get yourself a couple cans of Frost King coil condenser cleaner. Spray it in all the fins and let sit for 10 min. Then rinse with a hose. Then blow out with air again. You’ll be shocked at how well that stuff works. Just a recommendation from a fellow farmer.
The v diverted on top does make a huge difference. It did in my Teragator.
I would have thought that green and red tractor would have a battery cut off on it. I like the sound of those John Deere tractors.
Pleaser washer works the best on radiator. You have to be careful to spray square with the radiator to keep from damaging the fins.
Yeah. On lime you want the triangle piece above the cross members. Should greatly reduce bridging
👍 Thanks
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣 oh Brian your such a comedian.
16:10: foaming cleaner on a power washer is your best buddy for rad cleaning
Boy I wish I had the cab of that tractor as my office. I would enjoy that alot more then my desk at the automotive shop I work at. You have what I would call a dream job and life as a farmer. Yes, I know it's not all ways peaches and cream being a farmer. But I don't mind hard work.II just hate working for someone else and the public. I seem to get my second wind around 4 or 5 so later nights wouldn't bother me. Your family has set you to brothers up to have a good life. Granted, you guys have put your time in, too.
BJ put the heat shield on the back side of the floor mat. No voids for heat to come through.
BJ try unbolting the floor panels and putting some of the sound/insulating matting on the bottom of the sheet metal panels. Every little bit will help.
We have three 9r tractors and I put the carpet Mat on top of the rubber floor, and remover it’s a tillage tractor take your shoes off and get comfy.
When BJ said it was 10:22 I glanced at my clock and sure enough it was!
My FSJ Truggy the floor boards get so hot if you put a bottle of water on it, in an hour or so it'll be to hot to drink.
Can't to can't see; then you turn on the lights and work till the job is done
With that J-D floor area, I'd do what you're doing, but put the rubber floor mat for pattern and cut carpet same size and headliner glue to back of carpetf for the double-backed foil insulatioin., You'll still have access to the floor panels easily ! To do it right seats needs to come out for other insuklated and carpeted area.
Great input, BJ. Keep doing what you’re doing. I enjoyed every minute of your contribution. Brian, how long is the lease on the Oxbow? Seems like you can work out the one tractor shortage. Looking forward to Spring tillage. Great video.
Hey Brian I spread Lime with a terra gator 8300B at the Co-op I work at with the same newleader bed as your oxbo and I run my V divider on top like someone suggested to you and I have never had problems with the lime bridging up.
Looks like the cab insulation is installed upside down...shinny side toward heat source.😂
Whiule installing the double-backed foil insulation, wash the surface to be applied well, use headliner spray for the adhesive and double insulate at heat entry points. Ezee-Pezee ! Worked well on my old Jeep floors that burnt our feet up in summer, Using some carpet over the insulation adds more protection from heat !
Thanks for another great video Brian and BJ.
It was interesting guys.
BJ you did a great job of cleaning out the cab and then attacking the floor heat situation. You did a fantastic job of putting that heat reduction pads under the flour mat. How about a couple of layers of it. Just a thought. You said it is differently better. How about a piece of carpet now over the floor mat. Give you another layer of protection. Glad you thought it was better, not near as hot. Am sure the new water pump and washing out the radiator surely helped also. Glad it is running cooler. Maintenance goes a long way of helping.
Nice work BJ.
Aldo nice work with the camera and your voice over explaining things. You did great BJ!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your old shop needs a cleaning out I think. Hard to find time to do things like that I know.
Brian thanks for the update on the lime spreader. Hope in the future you can get one as it looks to be a good piece of machinery.
BJ hope your kids get to feeling better soon. School is always spreading illness around for sure.
All for now I guess. Thanks for everything Brian and BJ. You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
How much you tube to you watch
Morn'n
ground is working up nicely.
Hey guys, I’m pretty sure the hushmat would have to be stuck to the bottom of the cab floor to reflect the heat away. Probably not fun to do but the result would be better
BJ I run a case 500HD fwd and the floor in that cab is exactly the same it pretty much boils your feet in my work boots. I think I might try something the same as what you did there. Great idea!!! Thanks
BJ, maybe undercoating the cab might help.
Could you put a layer of killmat on the bottom side of the floor mat
Did you get a sled ride in this year? I got one, two day trip of 240 miles. Next year has to be better…
The exhaust does not pass under the cab. The heat must be coming from the transmission? Is everything normal with trans temp?
Mornin’
An Australian manufacturer, Coolamon Steelworks, now makes combination spreader/grain cart. You can use it as a grain cart during harvest and then as a spreader when required. Was wondering if any of the American manufacturers where doing the same thing, one machine for two functions.
The Spundnik crop cart ,it can be a manure spreader grain cart and potato or beet etc cart
did you heck center of pin to center of pin.
Far easier to blow radiators out with an air line
Water attracts dust and then sets hard when dry .
BJ. Was that a Snap-On or Matco wrench you were using to adjust the depth?🤔
It's getting more difficult to tell BJ and Bob apart 😂
Bj get a piece of 1/2 inch of Celotex insulation from Home Depot and cut square for feet, duct tape the edges and velcro it in place, put a rubber mat on top
BJ try heat pump cleaner on your radiator. It's for the fins on outside unit. Foams up out of spray can and rinse with hose.
After washing the radiators out, you need to let him completely air dry. If they're still damp inside a new start plow one again, the dust and dirt is gonna plug it back up.
Interesting
I think that is factory when I ran the tractor for the last owner the floor never got warm
When will the new planter be arriving at the farm?
BJ can you engage fan clutch cause then you can run1500 rpm and use hose are Psi washer with 40 degree tip. will suck every thru
If that dynamat insulation isn't enough the next thing is to get a little 12v fan that sits on the cab floor. 1/8th inch of insulation can only do so much, moving the heat away is the next level of escalation.
BJ cardboard is a great insulator
Maybe a buddy has an IR camera that you can borough to check the floor in the tractor
What happened to the grain cart with wheels did you guys sell that grain cart?
BJ put a piece of board type insulation down for your feet to rest on
Brian you sound like my buddy, he said that things are really picking up, he said that the bank had came out and picked up everything that he had. He was just kidding.
I have had good luck using the foaming coil cleaner, the stuff you use on residential AC units. I usually do it twice because when you think all the dirt is out it’s not, let it dry before I go back out in the dust and has worked great. I am sure the armchair experts will say otherwise but just my 2 cents.
I agree with you. Using a cleaner of some type really helps. We soak with water, spray with diluted dawn soap, rinse. Usually takes two washes. Works great for us. Enjoy your videos. Thanks
When we were young, my father called our illness the yellow fever. ( school bus )
Spray foam under the Cab
Use to run a 9460r where I use to work and I never noticed hot feet one thing that also may help is point the floor vents on the corner postes down towards the floor may help. The one thing I did notice running that 9460r is with the hydraulic reservoir being on the right hand side of the cab directly below the cup holders you could never keep a drink cool in the cup holder cause of the heat coming off that hydraulic reservoir. Really poor design on Deeres part in my opinion.
Why not take plates off floor put mat on and cut holes out and. Bolt em back in after you do the whole floor?
Kinda my thoughts as well 🤷♂️
Live and learn!
Mornin
I started having problems with my feet cooking in a semi. Come to find out, I had type 2 diabetes and had neuropathy in my feet making them feel like they were cooking.
Id look at whats wrong under the cab mine is a pretty quiet cab or nothing i find unusual especially the hot heals lol i dont have that i thought it be nice to have that feature lol
Did you guys get a lot of demos before you started TH-cam also?
A combine here and there but not nearly as often
👍
I'm starting to realize that farming being a generational business goes beyond the economics of it all. If I had grown up riding in a tractor with my dad I'd probably want to do that for a living too.
Yes and no. Lots of farm kids end up burnt out on it but the ones that stay usually love it
Maybe turn the water off to the heater core might help or pinch the line. Usually those hoses run under the cab then UpTo the top.
Blow the radiators and air filter out with air compressor and rubber tip blower.
