Definitely looking forward to the next matchup. Robin was one of my most wanted back in the era of Smash 4 speculation. And I really liked GenoWhirl's work even prior to reading about his involvement with the animation. (Specifically, I wanted an Awakening rep in general with Robin being my #1 wanted of the possibilities. Didn't think we'd get two in Smash 4 with a third in Ultimate.)
This is unironically the best voice actor you've ever had. The "insisting on staying calm despite increasing absurdity" vibe was perfectly done.
It literally sounded like the actual Wii Fit Trainer! Kat analyst did absolutely incredible

This was such a fun and surprisingly calming episode. The voice actress for Wii Fit Trainer did an amazing job; I love how she was able to bring the character to life without drastically altering her presumed personality. Overall definitely one of my favorite episodes.

Thank you so much for having me on board as the voice of the Wii Fit Trainer! Regardless of outcome, this was such a fun project to be a part of! Everyone on the team did a fantastic job, mad props to the animators and writers especially, you guys rock! The comedy was just on point the whole way through, I smiled the whole time. This was filled with so many twists and turns that I wasn't expecting! And wow, man, look at all these cool channels with all that talent in this field! Clearly I've got some new videos to look into later on! ^^ A huge thank you to Sonix (you'll see him over in Graphic Development, his work is amazing) for not only his hard work, but also for sharing the audition page for this series in our circles, I would not have found out that this series existed if not for him. And I'm so glad I know it's here now, this is such a delightful community!
I will say, I never expected to be in something like this, and I'm glad that it happened. XD For anyone who's new to my work, hi, I'm also the voice of Rouge the Bat over at Adrenaline Dubs, comic dubbing is my usual scene. I've been called upon for everything from your anime waifus to mom figures over the years. But almost a decade ago when I started doing voice work, a lot of the stuff I was a part of were sprite animations done by guys who were super inspired by stuff like Death Battle and DBZ. In some ways, I feel like I've come full circle, like now it's my turn to be a part of something that inspires someone else to pick up their craft and create, and that is a remarkable feeling. I genuinely believe that anyone can go and create something amazing with some hard work, practice, and dedication, and I hope that this reminds all of you out there to follow your dreams and kick some serious butt! This project marks a lot of firsts for me (I know, surprising, but we're trying new things every day!), and I'm just, so glad I auditioned. I'm so glad I got to be a little unhinged (that is a rare treat), I'm tickled by the ways that some of my takes and improv were used here, and the fact that it sounds as good as it does when I recorded most of this having recovered from a really nasty sickness makes me happy and relieved. XD If you guys ever need me again, don't hesitate to call, I'd be happy to return should the occasion arise. This was a genuinely awesome experience! Sending all of you good vibes!

That animation was great. Mr. Game & Watch slots in naturally as a screwball comedy protagonist and as bad as I felt for WFT, a normal human yoga trainer who can only take so much does make a great comic foil for him. Props to Kat Alyst for voicing her descent into insanity.

Ah man, I loved hearing Chris Pratt as the Wii Balance Board. the best part was when he said it's Balance Boardin Time and Balance Boarded all over Game & Watch.
I truly agree, how does this not have one balance boardillion views yet?
I like how Wii Fit Trainer didn't necessarily try to fight Mr. Game and Watch at first and was just doing her job as a fitness instructor. Even though she lost, this has to be one of the most accurate portrayals of a Nintendo character on this channel.
One of my favorite episodes so far. The part where the trainer lost it all and started screaming really got me laughing

She will win by asking Mister Game & Watch to do a difficult yoga exercise that will kill him.
Fun Fact: A few researchers had some concepts for the intro of this fight that were really silly and drastic.
One Researcher named "SomeGuy" had an idea that went like this "I just wanted Wii Fit to bust through the wall like the Kool Aid man and beat G&W up in his own home". The idea would have been Game and Watch playing Wii Fit but can't do it because he is flat, so he angrily throws the game at the wall and then Wii Fit Trainer busts through the wall and fights him.
Another Researcher named "RealLemon" had a very drastic approach for a fight. His idea was "We open with WFT playing with a kid. Montage of her raising the kid from a toddler till they are like 8-10. We see them playing one day, then everything goes crazy. This is when they get teleported into Smash Bracket. They're in the middle of nowhere. Montage of them trying to survive and having a completely miserable time of it. They stumble of G&W, who makes the kid smile for the first time in weeks. They travel together, WFT is weirded out of G&W, kid loves him. Kid and G&W slip out one night to play, it's raining. Mudslide or something happens, kid pushes G&W away. Kid dies. WFT finds a bucket list on the kid's body. One of the items was "Help G&W be a real boy like me" or something. WFT breaks down crying, but swears to fulfill the kid's wish. Cut to the future, WFT is trying to teach G&W to be "normal." Tries to help him stretch, but he just teleports. Tries to dress him in real clothes, but he just transforms. And eventually, WFT just snaps, can't handle the grief or the stress from failing, so they just start trying to be more violent. Escalate to the fight from there". Also he said "I was picturing it ending in death to play up the depressing aspect of it. WFT wins and becomes extremely alcoholic to cope. G&W wins and goes insane over having killed their only parental figure"
Very drastic idea for a fight as fun as this. But hey, that's what is funny about it! Also don't worry, RealLemon did not make this idea intending for it to be used. He doesn't even work on the choreography. He just decided to give it a try and jokingly try too hard. Anyways this comment is over.
This was a super duper fun one. For a vs. animation that somehow had virtually no actual fight whatsoever, it was a really fun and charming watch. Must have been a real challenge to plan out and make it still work even without the traditional conventions of a vs. animation, and y'all did a great job with it!
The animation and voice acting here absolutely made me adore WFT, and I didn't know that was possible.
She's quite literally a mannequin person that does light yoga, but you gave her such a wonderful personality that I just can't not adore her.

This wasn't even a battle. It was a whole lot of antics, misunderstandings, and a yoga session with one very confused flat man.
And it was amazingly funny XD. Also really loved Game and Watch's animation like doing Yoga and setting up his mat and falling.

Wonderful episode, Chris Pratt had a legendary performance as the wii balance board
I appreciate you didn't kill Wii Fit Trainer, in the same way you didn't kill the Ice Climbers; characters that innocent in a battle so not in their favor feel like they deserve an out. I have hope you may end up having her pop up again in the on-going story, maybe as part of that whole 'friendship squad' since her whole goal here was just trying to help him. The fight overall was super entertaining, and I just loved how chaotic it all felt.
The voice acting was really good here!

This was like watching a Looney Tunes short lol. Love it. Only thing I would have done different is have WFT land headfirst in a snowbank or something, would have been funnier than just falling through trees and getting dizzy.
I agree that Mr. Game & Watch stomps, but that speed of sound feat is sketchy. He isn't "fast enough that intercepts soundwaves." He is smacking cartoony music notes that float through the room like soap bubbles as cartoony music notes tend to do, so if anything it's more of something like a conceptual feat of music manipulation than a speed feat.
Good job to everyone involved and congrats on getting so many subscribers! Very cool as well shouting out the other folks.

The best part wasn’t the fight, it was when Wii Fit Trainer broke Ink, it reminded me of all the times when Death Battle had Wiz rant about something being completely nonsensical.
I must say that while I really enjoyed the animation and seeing Not Wiz and Not Boomstick show up was a treat as well as Wii Fit’s VA having a stellar performance, I was rather disappointed with Chris Pratt’s performance as the Balance Board. I hope he puts in more effort when he voices Pikmin #495 in Olimar vs Piranha Plant

This was such a fun fight! Not a lot of actual fighting happened, but it didn't need to happen since these two aren't really the fighting type. There was TONS of personality and the voice of Wii Fit Trainer was also super good! Overall, it was just a really fun time that I enjoyed waking up to! As for the next time...
As someone who is playing through the GBA Fire Emblem games I look forward to seeing how Fire Emblem will be treated under the refined rules. I look forward to seeing Robin win!

As much as I wanted it to be Robin Vs Hero for some obvious reasons. I already know either way it’s gonna be a great Vs video to look forward too in the future. This was a great video as well. Happy to see this finally come out!
At one point I’m pretty shocked G&W won. At the same time, I’m weirdly happy because he’s my main. Honestly now I’m starting to wonder if he may make it to the semifinal of the tournament. Good episode though.

Best voice acting on the show by far and it isn’t close. Probably one of the most unique vs. show episodes I’ve seen, where there wasn’t even much of a fight and it still somehow worked. Great episode, possibly my favorite you’ve done.

I didn't think a fight like this could offer much, but animation was very well done, the voice acting was great, and the whole fight was funny. Props here

I love the giant trampoline from the emporer’s new groove😂
Even when going into this one, there really was no way Wii Fit Trainer could take this fight like given Mr. Game & Watch's transformations, she's literally fighting someone who can be considered a Cartoon character with Toon Force abilities. Next time with Robin and Rosalina, this might be a pretty even fight compared to the two stomps that we got back to back but hey, can't wait to see that one.
Edit: Also I am going to call this now, Mr. Game & Watch is likely to fight Duck Hunt Trio in the next round.

I feel like wii fit trainer should have fought R.O.B., lucina got an easy win within a second, where wii fit trainer doesn't have any fighting experience outside of smash and was fighting a character that was unpredictable, who didn't fight a whole lot either

Shouldn't Mr. Game and Watch lose by default due to being a 2d being, and 2d beings are by default far weaker than 3d beings, regardless of what feats they may perform in their 2d worlds? I guess that's not a factor in Smash Bracket, which is fair enough.

I get that you where going off their own games but I was very much expecting Mr. Game & Watch’s smash original shadow bugs to make an appearance. Still pretty fun
surprised to see folks from nems channel, but less surprised to see this was hardly a battle at all. These two are completely normal people, and considering the rules for smash braxket they'd likely be normal people going about their everyday lives. Half expected wii fit trainer to keep the chase as an act to make mr. gnw warmed up and have him "win", but i suppose he couldnt let the opportunity slide. Fun match, cant wait to see robin fight!

Honestly as entertaining as this is, it’s much like dbz. Goku can destroy a galaxy at this point but he’s terrified of his wife. Mr game and watch can obliterate WFT but when she gets mad that he was still stiff, she can still terrify him despite his strength. I mean WFT is still a regular human. A fit one.
I really wish it was Wii Fit Trainer in Ring Fit Adventure, could've turned her into an absolute BEAST

Well, Rosalina wins easily for being quite literally a space god, not to mention that they control star matter or lumas, on top of it, they can move on their ship faster then light, and survive being very close to a blue star, one of the hottest stars in existence.
