I am filing for a colleague and when I do tax computation am getting a positive figure, I have tried redoing through the itax online method and am still getting the same figure (2143) is there a way out of this?
If you have done everything correctly including the pension contribution, then it means the positive figure means there is a tax due. A negative figure implies a refund. However, for clearance of doubt, you can reach on the KRA customer care. Thanks.

Hey, I'm trying to fill in the Personal relief section, my total MPR value is 28,800, but when I fill it, I get hit with an error 'Value should be less than or equal to 16896'. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
@@alanp1 I was using the ODS file, but then I changed it to the Excel file, and used Microsoft Excel to fill up my tax form. I no longer got the error, so I'm thinking it might be a software issue rather than anything else.

What does a negative value mean?
Negative = tax refund
Positive = tax due(tax yet to be paid)
@@KcseMathsTutorials Can you make a correction once you have filed your return?
Yes. But this time you will select "Amended" and not "Original" in the excel form where there's a sheet named 'Basic information '
thanks noted.

How can I file arrears on tsc p9 form?

I worked for only 4 months and now when i file my returns its showing a -25000 what should i do? Or is it okay ivo
Do a re-check. If you have done everything the right way, then a negative figure means you should claim a refund from KRA
