He gives you his q, w, or e in the form of a card(you can pick 1 any of them) and if he kills an enemy with his attack he gives you his e. His w(as a card) stuns an enemy that has been damaged this turn or last turn and deals no dmg. His e (as a card) deals dmg to two enemies simultaneously but they must be side by side. His q (as a card) hits four enemies dealing 1 dmg but ramping up with each kill and if it kills four times it hits the nexus dealing 4 dmg Idk i thought this up on the fly
@@bullettime1116 my thinking was making Jhin a "When I damage the nexus (in any way, grant him overwhelm, make him strike it using a spell, you name it), choose and create his Q, W, or E", and making his W and E exactly like you said, but making the Q only bounce 4 times and only to units. He levels up once you casted 4 abilities. and in his level 2 form, like you said he gains quick attack and overwhelm and now when he strikes he makes a fleeting curtain call. My thinking was making it OP, so you have to prevent him from leveling up like Asol. maybe a 1 cost fast spell that does 2 damage on 3 units and deal 4 damage to the 4th, and you can cast it on the same units, and it deals DOUBLE the damage on damaged units (to reference the missing health damage in LoL)
I remember being in the forums when Jhin was being teased. It was full of posts by people speculating, because the splasharts of 4 champions were changed in the official LoL page. Then Riot showed those same champions being shot and flowers coming out of their wounds, and everyone went insane. It was one of the best pre-release hype-trains I've ever been a part of, and Riot has never done anything so cool since.
Jhin is a polished Thespian, A calculated artist, meticulously Planning every little detail. Jinx is a Chaotic Improviser, acting on impulse and adding things as they go. They do the same thing, but it's the tone that sets them apart.

I still remember my first ever game on Jhin; very close to release day. 4 Ulti shots from their blue side jungle into midlane; 4 enemies dead. Lined up Flourish on vayne and barely missed. A true masterpiece of a champion.
When he first release I'm already in love with his playstyle, the sensation when you kill someone on his ult's 4 shot is priceless. I wish riot buff him more.
I feel like 2016 in general was the best year for champion design. we got Jhin, ASol, Kled and Ivern, champions with unique gimmicks that work and are really fun to play around with, fit their fantasy and visual design perfectly, and have defined strengths and weaknesses that feel mostly fair to play against, but can be accounted for by players who know to master them. we also got Talyiah, a very fun and skill-intensive mage with a relatively simple kit that still has enough depth to hold up and feel special and rewarding to use. we also had Camille, who isn't the most balanced, but definitely is fun to play, and while she's not the most ultra-complex 100000IQ 200years of the bunch, has a nice skill curve to her, as well as delivering on the promises of her visuals. 6 fun, interesting, not too hard to learn but high mastery celling champions that deliver on their expectations, colorful personalities and lore, excellent theme songs, great visuals, excellent voice acting, and some unique gameplay. if Riot should take any year as an example, it should be 2016.
I remember Jhin being considered as a "complicated champion" his first release, now, we have a mute lunari boy with a sister complex and DMC character that got isekaid to the Rift. Time flies by fast.

Jhin became my favorite champion when he released. I hadn’t picked one out yet, (I had started playing the game right after Bard came out) I played him and I was SO bad, but SO interested in the champ. I can never ever get tired of playing him
As my new days of.playing Jhin, I always forget that he had a reload mechanic so I always get to waste my fourth shot and not secure the kill with Q and W then Im dead but still I love playing this champ

Thinking about it now I was wondering why I really like Jhin when I started playing lol and give realized that he felt similar to how revenant felt in paragon, not the exact same but similar in how both of them had that fixed attack speed a stronger 4th shot, and how they both have decent wave clear. Long story short I miss paragon
Jhin reminds me of a manual transmission car. The machine will do what you need it to do but your input is still needed. If you bring up curtain call… you still need to make the shots count. Anything Jhin does needs your input to make it work and that in itself makes him so satisfying when it goes right.

BACK IN 2016, I was coursing the university, and my hobby was League. One day, I heard about this strange "Killed champions" appearing on the main web of League of Legends and I grew curious about it. Then, Mind of The Virtuoso was released, and I think I have NEVER AGAIN been so excited for the official release of something since then. I really wanted to know who was this "Virtuoso", and then, when the character was finally released, I was taking a class in the morning, when my phone rang: "New video posted: Jhin The Virtuoso (Skills)". Immediately I started to fake symptoms of a stomachache and asked the principal to leave early. As soon as I was out of the university I ran to the nearest Cybercafé and devoured the whole release article, the videos, the analysis, everything. I fell in love with the character and its lore, its mechanics, and more importantly, its ludonarrative consonance. Jhin was everything I wanted in a champion, for I always liked this "Assassination is an art" trope, and after 3 days of watching pro players use him in the PBE, I memorized the "range" of his damage and skill shots. I'm from México and let me tell you what: League players from México absolutely hated Jhin when he was released, their logic was that "If a marksman can't shot fast, then is weak". I didn't care, I played Jhin in every single PVP match I had the chance, and I won almost 4 of each 5 games. My group of friends even started to call me "El Carrito" (The little car), because I was the most frequent player of the group carrying the matches by playing Jhin (And because "Car" in Spanish kind of sounds like carrying lmao). After 2 or 3 months, everything went back to normal, with some players deciding to try him out, and others learning how to counter him, in the end, I was still happy, I am still happy. My summoner nickname was literally "El Virtuoso", I dunno how was I able to get the name, and for some reason, I changed it one year after (Which I regretted deeply), but I became a pretty decent Jhin. I stopped playing League one year ago, with the arrival of other (fresher) online games, most of my friends moved away from LOL, so, I stopped too; playing alone is not the same... However, if there is something in this game, that still makes me happy, and sometimes makes me remember the fun I had in it, it is the Golden Demon, the prisoner of Tuula, the Artisan Killer, the "Azakana" of the Ionian province of Zhyun, the golden excellence; Khada Jhin, The Virtuoso.
Revisiting this video a little more than a year later. The durability changes in League are about to be implemented as I’m writing this, and I’m so hyped to see how Jhin performs in the newly evolving meta! Great video and awesome cataloguing of our favorite 4 enthusiast!
Jhin main here, can confirm everything said. For me it is really the fact that his design resembles his gameplay. There is nothing more artistic, than to last hit 3 minions with Q, then hit a champ and W into 4th shot him. Seriously the best feeling there is.
Same, I love how he had enough of everyone's bullshit and just wants to do his thing. Also he is probably the most satisfying champion to play, sniping with the W, landing the 4th shot, killing someone with traps from the other side of the map... it's just so satisfying. The only champion in the game where you can feel the power of his weapons.
Even when you take out his gameplay, his release was legendary and he has - by a landslide - the best collection of skins. i mean, when i saw the splash art for the dark cosmic Jhin i almost cried
I returned to the leauge after many years right after Jhin's release, and i fell in love instantly. Made a smurf acc, bought him and high noon and started playing. It is unbelievable how you get drawn to his concept, making every shot count, and once i became good enough, go mid against yasuo (most picked mid champ at the time). Every outplay, every kill felt so satisfying. Even today i am tempted to get back in the game just to hear that 1,2,3,4... Beautifull champ. Great vid man, you brought a lot of feels and memories.
I have to say just one thing, as a art student and a person with depression the jhin cinematic is a beautiful form of art I love this Champion, the design, the voice , the visual drama in him is just perfect, the Champion designer as such a creative mind to make such a diferent way of seeing dead . Well theres the obvious 4-44% attack damage scaling on his passive as well as 1/4th of his attack speed. Ofc one could just go on all day with all the 4s lol
"If Sneaky didn't inspire people to play Jhin, it certainly was Reckless that did" Actually the 1# Jhin player i watched was IKeepItTaco, I literally watch him because I enjoy his insight and skill with Jhin, and watching him made me want to play him more, and take him more seriously as a character. Now he's my top played ADC with a very good ratio thanks to what i learned from Taco.

Yep, it’s super cool. I think the designers said it was unintentional and it was pointed out to them by players after his release, but it’s still sick. It’s like the character is outgrowing his creators and creating art that even they didn’t know about
jhin needs a rework that gives him 4 stacks on e , his w shoots out 4 bolts, he can only have 4-44-444-4444 hp, stats and mana and if he has 4 kills, destroys 4 turrets and kills 4 epic monsters the game immediately ends

His q (as a card) hits four enemies dealing 1 dmg but ramping up with each kill and if it kills four times it hits the nexus dealing 4 dmg

@@bullettime1116 my thinking was making Jhin a "When I damage the nexus (in any way, grant him overwhelm, make him strike it using a spell, you name it), choose and create his Q, W, or E", and making his W and E exactly like you said, but making the Q only bounce 4 times and only to units. He levels up once you casted 4 abilities. and in his level 2 form, like you said he gains quick attack and overwhelm and now when he strikes he makes a fleeting curtain call. My thinking was making it OP, so you have to prevent him from leveling up like Asol. maybe a 1 cost fast spell that does 2 damage on 3 units and deal 4 damage to the 4th, and you can cast it on the same units, and it deals DOUBLE the damage on damaged units (to reference the missing health damage in LoL)

I remember being in the forums when Jhin was being teased. It was full of posts by people speculating, because the splasharts of 4 champions were changed in the official LoL page. Then Riot showed those same champions being shot and flowers coming out of their wounds, and everyone went insane. It was one of the best pre-release hype-trains I've ever been a part of, and Riot has never done anything so cool since.

I feel like 2016 in general was the best year for champion design.
we got Jhin, ASol, Kled and Ivern, champions with unique gimmicks that work and are really fun to play around with, fit their fantasy and visual design perfectly, and have defined strengths and weaknesses that feel mostly fair to play against, but can be accounted for by players who know to master them.
we also got Talyiah, a very fun and skill-intensive mage with a relatively simple kit that still has enough depth to hold up and feel special and rewarding to use.
we also had Camille, who isn't the most balanced, but definitely is fun to play, and while she's not the most ultra-complex 100000IQ 200years of the bunch, has a nice skill curve to her, as well as delivering on the promises of her visuals.
6 fun, interesting, not too hard to learn but high mastery celling champions that deliver on their expectations, colorful personalities and lore, excellent theme songs, great visuals, excellent voice acting, and some unique gameplay. if Riot should take any year as an example, it should be 2016.
I remember Jhin being considered as a "complicated champion" his first release, now, we have a mute lunari boy with a sister complex and DMC character that got isekaid to the Rift. Time flies by fast.

Jhin reminds me of a manual transmission car. The machine will do what you need it to do but your input is still needed. If you bring up curtain call… you still need to make the shots count. Anything Jhin does needs your input to make it work and that in itself makes him so satisfying when it goes right.

BACK IN 2016, I was coursing the university, and my hobby was League. One day, I heard about this strange "Killed champions" appearing on the main web of League of Legends and I grew curious about it. Then, Mind of The Virtuoso was released, and I think I have NEVER AGAIN been so excited for the official release of something since then. I really wanted to know who was this "Virtuoso", and then, when the character was finally released, I was taking a class in the morning, when my phone rang: "New video posted: Jhin The Virtuoso (Skills)".
Immediately I started to fake symptoms of a stomachache and asked the principal to leave early. As soon as I was out of the university I ran to the nearest Cybercafé and devoured the whole release article, the videos, the analysis, everything. I fell in love with the character and its lore, its mechanics, and more importantly, its ludonarrative consonance. Jhin was everything I wanted in a champion, for I always liked this "Assassination is an art" trope, and after 3 days of watching pro players use him in the PBE, I memorized the "range" of his damage and skill shots.
I'm from México and let me tell you what: League players from México absolutely hated Jhin when he was released, their logic was that "If a marksman can't shot fast, then is weak". I didn't care, I played Jhin in every single PVP match I had the chance, and I won almost 4 of each 5 games. My group of friends even started to call me "El Carrito" (The little car), because I was the most frequent player of the group carrying the matches by playing Jhin (And because "Car" in Spanish kind of sounds like carrying lmao). After 2 or 3 months, everything went back to normal, with some players deciding to try him out, and others learning how to counter him, in the end, I was still happy, I am still happy.
My summoner nickname was literally "El Virtuoso", I dunno how was I able to get the name, and for some reason, I changed it one year after (Which I regretted deeply), but I became a pretty decent Jhin. I stopped playing League one year ago, with the arrival of other (fresher) online games, most of my friends moved away from LOL, so, I stopped too; playing alone is not the same... However, if there is something in this game, that still makes me happy, and sometimes makes me remember the fun I had in it, it is the Golden Demon, the prisoner of Tuula, the Artisan Killer, the "Azakana" of the Ionian province of Zhyun, the golden excellence;

I returned to the leauge after many years right after Jhin's release, and i fell in love instantly. Made a smurf acc, bought him and high noon and started playing. It is unbelievable how you get drawn to his concept, making every shot count, and once i became good enough, go mid against yasuo (most picked mid champ at the time). Every outplay, every kill felt so satisfying. Even today i am tempted to get back in the game just to hear that 1,2,3,4... Beautifull champ. Great vid man, you brought a lot of feels and memories.

Yep, it’s super cool. I think the designers said it was unintentional and it was pointed out to them by players after his release, but it’s still sick. It’s like the character is outgrowing his creators and creating art that even they didn’t know about

jhin needs a rework that gives him 4 stacks on e , his w shoots out 4 bolts, he can only have 4-44-444-4444 hp, stats and mana and if he has 4 kills, destroys 4 turrets and kills 4 epic monsters the game immediately ends
We also need a collector rework exclusive to jhin where the execution passive shows 4444
