the interesting thing about fiddle as a final boss/villain is that he will never lose even if he is destroyed or defeated. Unless everybody stops being afraid of stuff he will always come back
Fiddle is so werid. Like is a final boss material but he's like that one spiderman meme where its like "I don't want to cure cancer I want to turn people in dinosaurs" it's "I don't want to destroy the world I want to scare people and eat them." It's the sort of villain where it's more like how a predator is a villain to it's prey.

I feel like Fiddlesticks shouldn't be a Final Boss but a Secret Boss, one you can unlock once you beat the game.

I think Veigar fits in basically every box, I think he's easily a major threat and probably the strongest yordle, he could be final boss if you decide to write a way for him to gain even more power, like taking all of mordekaisers power for himself. He can be an anti-hero as he's honestly not that bad a guy, just insecure. And he could just be a dim goon or obstacle if you wanna make a funny gag where you punt him and he flies off like team rocket.

Taking all of Mordekaisers power would be impossible for poor little Veigar. Veigar was his bitch even before Mord learnt all his magic
His problem was never his power but him not actually being evil enough.
He just wants to be recognized which is why he killed the evil mage terrorizing the villiage
Also in my headcannon the robot didn’t actually make him stronger but just bigger and gave him more confidence to use his real strengh 🤣
I think it would be awesome if Veigar was playing a long con, knowing what people think and then when the heroes take down Mord, he comes in and just unleashes his true power
He can be a really goofy final boss like accidentally found some super powerful artifacts like world rune and run around thinking he's gonna use it to just blow up some village or something, meanwhile the main crews panic so hard thinking millions of people are gonna die and everything would be destroyed
Tying Kalista into a Viego redemption arc, especially considering their relationship in the book and how Isolde thought Kalista could have change him, is brilliant. I’d love to see that.

The only reason why Zoe is not a Final Boss is because she doesn't feel like it. She jokes around with ASol and stole Fiddlesticks's key like it was nothing. She was also the reason Darkins got trapped in their weapons. If someone can fuck around with every final boss in a universe they definitely have the power to be one themselves. But she's more in the area of "This character is so nonchalant about their powers that we don't actually know how powerful they are" similar to characters like Professor Paradox or Gaunter O'Dimm.
Zoe is that one incomprehensibly powerful being that congratulates you for beating the final boss and says that it was so fun to watch they made a second one for you to do it all over again.

If Renata, Camille and Jhin are in final boss, Swain should be up there too. Depending on the story being told he can easily play the part.

They are so biased towards Piltover they don't even consider the other countries on the same level. Like... Renata is a drug dealer and they put her in the 'final boss' tier... But GP is literally the final boss of the Bilgewater, and they put him in 'Major Threat'? That's bad man... Bel'Veth as well! in her bio it says: "Bel'Veth is the end of Runeterra itself"... But I guess Jhin is a final boss for being just a serial killer.

Renata's master plan is literally the same as the villain from Kingsmen, she can make the whole of (possibly) the biggest city in the world, maybe even people in other major cities, to go wild and start beating each other to death.
She is not only the most dangerous person in her region, she is probably the most dangerous human who doesn't use magic, and more dangerous than many magic users.

There should be a "Force of nature" category, where it isn't accualy a villain but just something to be reconed with and easly avoidable like for Nautilius - paying the fee
Just thinking this myself, I feel like Kindred and Fiddle would be a good fit there too.
But isn't that just an obstacle? Something in the way you have to go through or move around when going towards you objective.
Or Warwick. He is a predator, and a big one, try to avoid him by not bleeding or, if you are bleeding or are covered in blood, try to act as a non-threat

The idea of Viego getting a redemption arc would be so incredibly cool in my opinion.

@@leeclemens4143 As far as I understand it, She was the one who betrayed him and led to his second defeat. Now she's preparing for his eventual return, and setting up contingencies to deal with him when he does. To varying degrees of success (like the two schools that burned down)
if im not wrong shes literally at everywhere, no joking literally. theres like easter eggs or theories about her being on the splash arts of other champs or skins
Veigar would be a mix between major threat and anti villain, cuz he'd be a really powerful yordle, but ends up helping you on accident over and over
Viego redemption arc where he has an awkward father - daughter relationship with Gwen sounds so cool, and that is also a perfect ways to give Yorick a new purpose, now Yorick will be the one who help Viego reintegration into the new world.
you could make yorick, viego, kalista and gwen a traveling party trying to redeem viego and restore or stop tresh/mordekaiser future plot
Alternatively (and I think that I would like it better), he could completely lose his last remaining humanity and go full destructive monster. Just as long as he doesn't stay the exact same after such a huge moment in his (un)life...
@@Darkprosper I think the redeem route is better because if he goes down the destruction route then his thematic will be a mixing of Morde and Thresh, Runeterra has enough potential world-ending threat that need to explore like Watcher, ASol, Morde, Thresh, Bel'veth, Ten Demons, ... i don't think we need more

Fiddle feels like a secret superboss. The game wouldnt be built around him or anything but there would be small hints and quests through out the game and then towards the end or in the post game you can fight them as a challenge. Basically dark lurker in dark souls 2 or the valkyrie queen in god of war but its actually cool because you care about the enemy this time.
Yeah exactly, you could have the quest be found through deep exploration and it's collecting the essence's of the other demons to lure him to you. The fact that he's basically a force of nature like kindred but inherently evil makes him so damn terrifying.
I feel like he'd be better off as a kind of slenderman type character that only appears when you get to certain areas and gets progressively more difficult with each scarecrow (think the pages from the og slenderman game) you find
@@CID5202 Well yeah, but having him in the background (not constantly) in a menacing/mocking way feels right, considering we see him slowly fuck with his victims for maximum fear. You could also make his avatars stalker archetype like. Where it's an indestructible enemy you have to run away from here and there.
fiddle is basically the bakura (yu-gi-oh) of league, he´s always around but you never know until he starts fucking you up

the options Riot has for horror games is amazing and I'm so sad that they don't seem to be considering anything. Mundo in his "hospital" trying to "cure" you, Elise in her lair, Fiddlesticks of course (would end in you dying no doubt because there's just no way you don't), Nocturne, you could be trying to get out of an entire region and have to avoid him in the physical and dream realm, a Pyke game where you're trying to run from a bar in Bilgewater and something starts chasing you, like seriously Riot please do something in this genre instead of giving us these horror themed characters and then never touching on them again.
Probably because it's difficult to make a PGR13 game when it's also horror.

I think that Fiddlesticks is more like Pennywise from It where it's more about facing him head on to contain him BUT you will not win against Fiddle. Like, at the end of the day, it's a lose lose because you are going to mentally scarred no matter what. He is life-changing kind of scary.

Now you need a HERO tier list. Just add the antiheroes back to the list and then classify the others according to how good they are or how important is their role in saving the world
I'd put Illaoi and Shen in anti-heroes, too, because they're mostly concerned with their own notions of balance and team up with the goodies mostly out of happenstance.
You have no idea how happy it made me to hear you say "Viego should have a redemtion arc" because guess what: I've been thinking the EXACT SAME THING! Now that the ruination leaking from his heart has been broken, he has a chance to see things clearly, and move on from Isolde, and try to make something of his life now.
My guess is some larger threat will present itself and viego will be the key to deafeating him and he'll either sacrifice himself or be neutralized as a threat.

My Proposition is He will be the key to free The Shadow Isle, he no longer has control though, and the effects of the black mist on his emotion is extremely deafened. I can see him teaming up with Gwen to fight thresh prolly after thresh resurrects a bigger threat or he himself becomes a world ending threat
I feel like Fiddlesticks would be the secret boss in a hypothetical league rpg, besides the one that already exists.
An optional boss battle you need to do before the final boss to unlock a secret or maybe the true ending. Even though he isn't on your list of "people I need to kill to save the world or whatever" he still poses a major threat to the core of this world, and only by defeating him can you restore the balance. Somewhat like Shiva from SMTV (I think. Haven't beaten him yet, just assumed it was something along those lines)
Singed is literally behind all the major events in Ionia, Noxus and Zaun though. He pushes Viktor into what he eventually becomes, he was the creator of the chemical that devastated Ionia, I remember he did more but I haven't seen his lore in so long I forgor, but I'm pretty sure he is a major threat. Just working more so behind the scenes.

Honestly he could be the kindred of bilgewater. More so a force of nature than actual enemy. Where you if don't pay the tax he emerges and throttles the ship, so you either run or ward him off.

i think at best it is something like fizz stole your coin, and you need to catch fizz or get the coin and drop it into the sea before nautilus sinks the ship.

I think he would be a good plot twist final boss, where at the beginning no one really take him seriously until he finally reach to his true potential at the end.

... I would say that Vel'koz is probably a final boss due to being almost on par with the Watchers. He's the strongest creature of the Void and the Eye of the Watchers and, well... disintegrates everything to learn them. He's also stated to be the oldest creature of the Void, so by that standard he probably could be much more powerful than we know.
if Cho exists in lore their duo possibly be faze on vatcher fight like:
1 stage Trandl
2 Lisandra
3 velkoz shut beam on eve and Cho start destroying palace and now players need to team vith Lisandra and Trundle and stop them
4 phase: 1 of watchers is free and you need to kill him.

Would be nice if we knew more about the Darkin power levels because without it we never know how strong they are and it makes it easy to underestimate Rhaast/Kayn with their struggle for control and their potential with both forms.
Personally I was running off the idea that a slow assimilation gets you a stable body (something Rhaast maybe knows because he seems to lean into an Intelligence role), whereas fast gets you the trouble Varus and Naafiri are in, and if you just want the meat (none of the souls) you end up Aatrox.
In fact Varus and Naafiri may have only been saved because of how many bodies they used and that they decided to work with the spirits instead of against them. On the other hand Aatrox is so focused on being his former self he burns through every body and soul he comes across.
That was my thinking on how it all works. Also explains why Xulaani's weapon leaves a husk behind - she recreates herself with the blood and soul of the body she uses - leaving behind what is basically a mummified zombie that can still do her bidding.
@@Ani_Tharialso, by delaying his assimilation, Rhaast can wait for Kayn to be at the peak of his power before he becomes his host.
I think that’s what even the lore implies, that Rhaast is curious how much stronger Kayn can get and how much potential he has before he makes a full blown attempt at his body. The risk is that if he waits too long, Kayn might just overpower him. Rhaast wants Kayn to be the perfect host, he can’t use his shadow magic at it’s peak if Kayn never reaches it.

Like when you learn and use skills before evolving and he really comes off like an owner of a new product checking out its new features or something lol, I think he even literally says something like “hmmm I lets see how strong you really can get” to kayn

I do have aaaaa slight gripe with Swain's placement. Man is contracted with a demon, has a power-up form with raven wings, leads the most aggressive and power-hungry nation in Runeterra, like, in any context where you're fighting Noxus, Swain is your literal nightmare. Not to mention the global meddling, the constant observation, that's classic final boss stuff. He's always watching, and very inclined to putting his efforts into screwing over his threats. There's a genuine danger that Swain could even manipulate into framing somebody else, or otherwise getting out of dodge - he's a total threat and leads the most traditionally evil-coded region (aside from the shadow isles lmao). That's a final boss to me, he even has a built-in phase 2 :^)
He (paired with leblance) would make for a good villain in a game who you'd desperately try and fight against only to realise after he's beaten that without him, an even more dangerous enemy is able to emerge, that being Mordekaiser.
I think the issue is you have le blanc and morde in noxus, who just out do him. Le blanc's organization is old as sht, and has way more knowledge than swain probably has access too. It'd be a secret society where even the low level goons have weird forgotten artifacts/magic. Morde.. well is morde, besides the aspects,fiddle, the watchers, liss, thresh and a-sol no one has the power to compete with him. Hell he probably could have taken most of current noxus back when he was alive. So while swain is probably higher on major threat, out of the trifecta that watch over noxus he's probably in the middle (outdoing darius, but being below leblanc).
I feel like having LeBlanc and Swain both as options for major bosses before Morde and you get to choose which faction to aid (Swain's Party or the Black Rose) and you get to fight the other as the boss before Morde. Kind of like a choose your adventure with multiple endings depending on the choices the player makes.
Love to see Swain be a final boss and it doesn't make sense how hes not up there considering Renata is there but it is what it is Ig
@@mephisto1663 it's because renata doesn't have any rivals or people to contest her control besides like piltover. For zaun she is the main villain. I just think you like swain, but for all we currently know leblanc is the more dangerous one. She knows about morde, knows everything that goes on in noxus, has an elite society with probable heavy hitters. Swain and Daruis just have the other more exterior side of noxus. Leblanc doesn't fear them and could probably do away with them, however it wouldn't be effortless and for noxus it's overall probably smarter.
Or atleast darius, swain himself is pretty deep into things. What makes swain interesting is his basically on the cupse of having all this knowledge because he very much so plays the game better than darius. Idk my main gripe is neither the black rose nor swain have had all their lore completely fleshed out. Right now it's just the amount of ancient knowledge the black rose holds thanks to their organization being old as sht. While swain having a good amount of both aristocrats and military behind him (if looking at stuff like legends of runeterra). I don't know swain probably would be somone you could recruit for help by offering him the knowledge of the black rose.

Rewatching tahm kench teaser and I actually love the metaphorical aspect of it. Tahm functions as a representative of greed and addiction of the gambler. The gambler gets a way out but after all the good times he still lets greed in, he gives in to the addiction of gambling and loses everything, the gifts, the feast and his wife.
Thing I love about league, there really is a MAJOR villain for most of the regions. Like if you wanted to, you could legit make a game where you go and fight each region and they hierarchy battle
What's crazy to me is a lot of the regions could have 2 final bosses or a mid boss into final boss essentially.. If we are going purely on power level. Le blanc into morde for noxus, liss into the watchers for frejlord (although the watchers themselves are probably just FINAL BOSS FINAL BOSS). J4 into kayle for demacia (while j4's actions bring him down he still is the king of an entire nation, demacia in itself isn't a joke). Azir/renek into xerath for shurima. Ionia is kinda weird since it's full of heroes/ more complicated characters. So jhin is really the only major villain. Zoe into a-sol for targon( a-sol is basically watcher level). Hecarim into Thresh for the shadow isles. Funny enough MF into Gangplank (possibly recruiting mf for gp) for bilgewater. Singed/urgot into Renata for zaun. Camille kinda is the only thing piltover has lol.
Might have missed some but literally any region could be turned into it's own smaller scale mmorpg and that's insane.

I would argue that Darius could work as an Anti-Hero, or a villain you'd feel sympathetic for. After loosing his wife and family, he could potentially become a villain that sacrifices himself at the end.

Kayle would be amazing for a JRPG style game, where it's less about the Villain and more about the journey to get strogn enough to fight them in the first place. Just having her as a Vague threat far off in the background most of the time, and when she appears she just gives one grand monolouge and then it's Divine Justice for the next 40-50 minutes.
Could also work for fiddle, where he spend most of the time in the background toying with you, and sending lower power avatars to fuck with you.

Tbh Fiddlesticks in Runeterra is like the Primordial fear demon from Chainsawman except here we got no demon or someone that can erase a concept from everyone's minds and truly kill a concept demon like Fiddle, he just toys with people but if he really wanted to he could destroy the world, but he doesn't think he just acts the way his nature is

You could do a rare event chance in certain areas where a bar of fear starts to fill up, whilst giving you no instruction except to leave the area... and if you don't, you fuck around and find out.

I am very happy about Nicky's take on Viego. I also think Riot made a very big mistake of making the whole story as "Viego bad" "Isolde good", I think it would have been more interesting if it was genuine love on both sides turned toxic due to their circumstance. With Isole being a naive girl thrown in a world she doesn't understand, being toxic on the level of abusing the massive amount of power she just received. And Viego being a young prince that is lost in a powerstruggle of people who try to use him for their own agendas.

It aint about Pure Power Levels, it is about how compelling each character would be AS a final boss, writing wise, in a well-designed game.
Swain is a dictator of a colonising country, essentially the same story-wise as Enver Gortash. Who isn't the final boss of BG3. And so Swain wouldn't fit "final boss" either, because that wouldn't be a compelling threat, especially if the story is contained to each region like they are suggesting in the video.

I think they state pretty early on that its "Game set in (region): where would this character fit". In which case Swain would be very powerful and threatening, yes.
But Noxus has Mordekaiser. And as threatening as a Guy In Charge with a demon may be: Mordekaiser. Who LeBlanc's past ENTIRE 2000+ LIFE has been sent SOLELY preparing for.

The editing is really really good and changes the lvl of entertainment by a lot.
What is really interesting about a list like this is that whether or not a character would be a final boss in their story really does matter based on how the character operates.
For example, I think that Singed does belong in the Major Threat category, but Silco definitely would be a final boss to me. The reason being that singed is mostly acting by and to himself. He does creat checmial weapons and unholy mutant abominations, but a lot of that is either for research or funding. On the other hand, Silco directly and intently moved the very foundation of Zaun/Undercity, and hoardes of obstacles and major threats alike moved at his whim. I could imagine fighting Singed as the boss of his own stage or plot line, but taking Silco down would have such load-bearing significance that it would demand a final confrontation format - even if that final fight would likely be you fighting the tag team of Jinx and Sevica, because Silco might not be a fighter, but he commands the whole story by his actions.
A similar case with Jhin, Lyssandra or A-Sol. Within a story that proportionately accounts for the scale at which they would operate, these characters bascially act as the agents of their own stories. Basically nobody else could overthrow them as final threats, because the consequences they wreak are too important to ignore, and they are set up as being far too capable to just brush aside as "not the final big bad of the arc."
For a similar reason, I can't really imagine Fiddlesticks being on this list for the same reason why people agree that Kindred shouldn't - and I would also include the Watchers. Fiddle, to me, is basically just a force of nature at this point. Highly malevolent, no doubt, but it has mroe of this eldritch presence to it. There is no grand plan, nor scheming. Death simply arrives wherever the scare crow reaps. You cant stop it, and likely you can barely concieve of it, and for that reason, I think a category should exist for creatures like this that cannot be simply fought, only "survived."
seeing KAYLE of all champions not in Final Boss is a crime. She quite literally might be the most powerful aspect next to Aurelian Sol or Kindred. She can summon THOUSANDS of garens ultimate at will.
Zoe with the power of the cosmos definitely out does her. A-sol and Kindred are also above the aspects. A-sol had to be tricked by them, and kindred is the concept of death, even the aspects and space dragons will eventually meet their end. Will say tho I gotta agree on the final boss thing. She very well could be the final boss of a demacia based game, where you need morg's help to beat her.

I doubt Riot will ever go that route, they'll probably keep him as a major threat or make him the final boss of the MMO like Necrit said.

Tahm Kench would be a secret boss disguised as an NPC helper.
You could take his deal if you're in a bind (say for an RPG some gold, health potions, weapons, etc. all with some sort of tradeoff you have to give him), but taking his deal _too many times_ would trigger his boss fight.
I'd also, just because I think it'd be thematic, have him be like FF1 Warmech levels of tough. Because you've fed into him so much he's brimming with power.

I'm all in on making Viego+Kalista redemption arc!!!! Viego healing up from his heartbreak and tries to atone for his wrongdoings, with the support of her daughter(Gwen) and his neice, of course, facing many challanges where many people will never forgive him, but that's what he must live with.
Also, don't know why, but I suddenly imagined Braum revisiting Bilgewater and he would be very friendly with Viego cuz he's such a kindhearted man and Illaoi would probably be cool with him since he's making a change for the better. MF and Yasuo probably are the least acceptable of him, maybe more MF rather than Yasuo, but Pyke probably doesn't give a care whole Ahri might also empathize with him since she had a past of taking many lives and maybe possibly empathize about losing someone they love(?. Not sure about this one lol)

Man i wish they did more with Karthus. The idea of a mortal embracing the mist, and harnessing its power could have made a way more interesting villain. I see him in a similar light to Brand in regards to your list.
I think either route with viego works but the redemption would be most compelling since it can be a way for viego to mature, he was childish in his past and return which came to a peak when it came to Isolde, now that she’s gone the path to maturity is open to him, or revenge, either works
The other route could have it's own interesting takes too, having him fully snap, reclaim his power only to unleash it all in an insane fury would go hard. Where he gives himself up into the mist so it becomes this malevolent force going around destroying everything, ever-growing in power as it destroys with no real leader making it extremely unpredictable.

I think it's somewhat of a sense of scale type of deal.
Renata's goal isn't world domination, it's domination of piltover and zaun. She wouldn't be a final boss of a story with celestial stake like Aurelion, but one contained in the PnZ.
Qiyana is being measured up with kayle, because lore wise, she's not much weaker then them. But she's never actually been SHOWN to be this powerful, just TOLD. That's what lowers her perceived threat levle by so much.

I really love your idea about Viego. I always wanted Viego to be some huge final boss but redemption is better. Mainly because he don't need to die and just dad and hateful daughter(gwen) when they eventually create family together(and maybe Vex like rival to Gwen) is just so gorgeous. Would love and pay to see it.

Anyone could be a boss fight depending on who the protagonist is. Maybe make a new video for the ones left out, taking into account the possibility of playing as an evil character.
Veigar's interesting in that regard - he WANTS to be the supreme evil, but in his lore he mostly only fights worse villains. He's like a tiny magical Godzilla. You probably wouldn't fight him unless you were playing as a villain (or called him short).
I also wouldn't make Fiddle a final boss. In terms of power he's one of the top forces in Runeterra, but all he really does is hunt individual people, and he doesn't really have any big "plans" to be suitable as the final boss of a story. I think if he appeared in a game, it would be as a stage where you just had to survive as he hunted you.
I like the idea of Swain comstantly sending armies lead by Darius to turn location after location into active war zones with Darius being the juggernaut in ever fight, meaning without player intervention he’ll always win, alternatively you can target Swain to stop the attacks all together making him and Swain a major threat

For me Fiddle and kindred feel like 100% those post game bosses that you just happen to find in a random spot that puts everything you went through the game to shame in terms of difficult. While Zoe and Annie are those side quests that gets you by surprise with spike in the difficult halfway through a game.
Could see them making Fiddle just be there as a scarecrow form that no matter how many times you interact it doesn't respond even after the game just to get you by rushing at you when you less expect.
Qiyana is a major threat for sure if not final boss. If you watch what Taliyah does in The Climb cinematic and then imagine this is Qiyana's power level with four axioms AND straight up melee combat? She could probably wreck an entire continent by herself (unbiased Qiyana otp opinion please release more lore Riot)

This is really funny because we have a league dnd campaign based on finding the keys if icathia, and so far out of the couple of champions we encountered, this is entirely accurate
I understand that a lot of this is subjective, but even as something subjective, simply by your OWN standards some of this was CRAZY. How are you gonna have Glasc, Camille, and Jhin at Final Boss, when you throw Singed, Swain, Renekton and Darius down a tier, even MULTIPLE tiers because of arguments like "He's just an axe guy." Volibear is also crazy amongst others for the opposite reason, where they're strong, but storywise you think they wouldn't fit. Either you're grading off of how you think they would function in a game/story, in which case you can keep Glasc and Camille up there, but then you have to kick up characters like Swain, Darius, Bel'veth, Gankplank, and others, or you're basing off of strength, in which case you know this tierlist is all over the place. And if for some reason you're trying to say that this tierlist is both, then I don't know how I'm supposed to make a lick of sense out of those aforementioned 3 in final boss when the argument for Bel'veth being down is that her knowledge is limited to that of a human, when YOU'RE PUTTING HUMANS IN FINAL BOSS. Human intellect is not a disqualifier from Final Boss, and if you wanna focus on the ego aspect of that criticism instead (saying that large ego is a negative for this tier list,) then it is BLASPHEMOUS to put Jhin (amongst others) in Final Boss.
All of that to say I think this tier list QUICKLY devolved into how much you like these characters as villains rather than any take on their intelligence, or strength, or likelihood of being Final Boss material (although even THAT isn't a great categorizer for this tierlist considering how many times you said you liked a character but knocked it down a few tiers either due to you knowing they're not that strong, or that Riot has done their character dirty in prior iterations.) Honestly after thinking about it, I think this tierlist is just. There. Like, no rubric for these characters' placings at all. Some of them were put where they were put because of strength, others because of narrative, others just because you liked/disliked them, and others from some combination of the 3.
I'll iterate that this is not meant to be a hater comment, but I wanted it to be said because I felt like I found myself continuing to watch out of morbid curiosity in what characters were going to be given justice or butchered at any given moment rather than the normal interest I would have in what you think of a character.

Personally, I don't see Aatrox as a final boss, but that's probably because Riot feels weirdly inconsistent with him. It's sort of like Bel'Veth situation where the character is presented as being way more powerful than he actually is. Dude wants to end all of creation but doesn't even seem capable of doing so. Reminder that he didn't even truly succeed in killing the Aspect of War, since Atreus is still running around with Pantheon's power inside him.
I mean, if any Darkin feels like a final boss, it's Xolaani. Her blood magic is so OP that she can actually CONSUME an Aspect and potentially enslave every living being on Runeterra, including the other Darkin. By contrast, Aatrox feels more like Major Threat territory. The dude is definitely a problem, but I'm not sure that I buy he has the power to actually end the world by himself based on everything we've seen of him.
Well final boss isn't a category strictly for world enders. Jhin is on there for how elusive and intricate his plans are, he's a mastermind that's a perfect boss for a lower powered game. I think aatrox is a final boss level character, but he very much is that really tough and annoying optional secret boss. He just wants to fight worthy opponents, gain strength from them and climb into higher power so he can once again challenge the gods. Also while not killing, knocking a god's control over a person and hurting the avatar while they had the god's power is still an impressive feat. Him being darkin and a constant combatant also makes him an exceptional warrior with good amounts of versatility. He's that knight looking for a worthy challenge that kills you more than the actual final boss (something like galacta knight). Which to me is final boss level. I'd put him into a similar vein to fiddle in terms of the role they could play. More so an optional tough boss than the big bad of the story.
Veigar is like the spot from across the spider-verse. Everybody thinks he's a joke but then he becomes extremely powerful.

Fiddlesticks is like that monstrous optional boss RPGs used to put in that is so, painfully difficult, but you never actually have to fight.
I think there’s a lot of villains that, if you fight them, are just 100% doing their own thing and are completely irrelevant to the story outside of “being a threat in this area” and I think that, as “Roaming boss” should have gone into it’s own category.
Mundo is not a dim goon, because you can’t really control him, is he dim? Absolutely, but not a goon, in fact, he probably would’ve fit Convergence’s use of Warwick a lot better as the “random monster patrolling the streets of zaun and attempting to abduct this teenager”
Similarly, Fiddlesticks has absolutely no organisation nor any plans, it is completely solo, and while it is absolutely the **Final boss** of all Roaming bosses, you couldn’t write a whole game about it.
I like that Karthus genuinely believes that he's doing the right thing, and that he's helping people by pulling the souls out of them and discarding their dead meatsuits.
