How about a Level 100 Gauntlet by only doing BBQs? ^_^
You averaged approximately 70.8 merit points per satchel. My guess is that the theoretical average is either 70 or 75 and you were either a little bit lucky or extremely unlucky.

Ah, the satchels... I remember trying to grind out satchels to get my last evolution item to finish the dex. I don't have switch online and I had an error with the satchels reloading consistently (I still don't know 100% how often they're supposed to). It was the absolute LAST Pokemon I needed iirc. I think I ended up giving up and finding the item randomly in a timespace distortion rather than getting the merit points
