Thank you so much to everyone who joined in on this crazy community effort and sent in pictures/videos of your setup/wonder trades!!! I truly wish I could've featured even more, but this project was a MASSIVE undertaking!!! I had the time of my life making this video, and I can not WAIT to do the final playthrough with this team (plan pending)
Well, I'd better get started making tons of Tatsugiri to help you when you do the final surprise trade stream when they shut down the Nintendo Switch Online service for the new one in the Switch 2 Online servers in 2030 since they are planning on phasing out the Switch in 2005. And I'll name them all BK Mode. ^_^ It's sad that we will never see Festival Plaza or Wonder Trade ever again but having seen many Playstation game trophies become unobtainable after their servers are forced to shut down, I know the impossibility of having an online service run forever. And with Pokemon Wonder Trade not dead forever, it won't be long before Pokemon Bank is shut down and all those Pokemon from Generations 1-7 will be unobtainable by original means, which means Shadow Pokemon will never leave Generation 3. :(
I think the best thing about being an on and off viewer of this channel is the inside jokes im not there for and I just hear shit like "My 7 Delphox Hotels"
ok, im back after watching the entire video and i have to say this is one of my favourite videos ever. there has not been a video that ive watched that has made me laugh as hard in ages. i love how this video celebrates the history of 3ds online and the magnificence of wonder trades. this is why this channel continues to be my favourite to this day (and ive recently started to work on some of my own pokemon content, drawing heavy inspiration from you, so thanks! this is, without a doubt, one of the best youtube channels ever conceived.)
Matt, I met you at Miku Expo and it was the best moment of my life! I think I was somehow more star struck to meet you rather than see the thing I’ve wanted to in person since 2010
This video was not only a love letter to the 3DS Online Service as a whole, but also to your stream and channel lore! So many amazing bits, and an amazing story of completing what seemed like an impossible task thanks to the help of the community! Another certified banger!
my biggest accomplishment in this wonder trade gauntlet was that I stick bugged The Oiler but honestly, this was the most perfect way to send the 3DS online off with a bang! Me and my friend were on a discord call and watched your stream together and we were SO on the edge of our seats at like 2 am when there were only like 5 pokemon left from full collection and we were not sure when exactly the servers gonna go offline. I'm so glad I got to receive an Absol and a Joltik from you (as well as one of Kotatsu's Mijos)! I personally set out bunch of different hatched pokemon with stupid random nicknames that on one point devolved into every single mon nicknamed RICE!!!!!!
As a full time TH-cam oil enjoyer, I wish I could have participated. But I just think back to the first Christmas after X and Y released. Someone on imgur or reddit made a big post about sharing shiny, powerful, or rare pokemon on Christmas morning to send to children who got the game for the first time. I remember spending all week preparing trade evolution pokemon, so people could complete their Pokedex. I had so much fun sending them out, as well as receiving cool legendaries and shinies, and sending those back out. I also think back to an April fools event where the infamous Nate & Dookie had us swarm the entire Wonder trade with zubats. I got one of Nate's zubats that day, and it blossomed a love for that entire evolution line. Now today, I am in tears at the sheer accomplishment of completing the Pokedex 3 times with the power of the pokémon community. I am in tears remembering how much fun these games start out as. And I am in tears thinking of the beloved games going out, not withering away like an old memory, plagued by nothing but rusted bots spewing meaningless bytes. But going out in an explosive cacophony of oil, TH-cam urls, and love for the series that reminds us of the joy in the world. Thank you Absol (Matt(Real)). Because of you, the 3ds era has been documented and preserved for pokémon fans generations to come.
@@AbsolBlogsPokemonif you insist: i was texting my brother random gibberish that slowly evolved into back and forth onamatepoeia of snails and slugs, which I randomly decided to name the original panpour months after
I think Sluurb nmm? Also sounds like what a Panpour would say, and I want you to know that I had gotten one and another Panpour with its hidden ability and one of your monkeys now has many descendants
The "overtime" of nintendo 3ds online wile on your stream trading "me when" away was some of the hypest I felt in years, I literally jumped out of my chair at 3 a.m. when you got fraxure, thank you so much for such a great experience matt! Also thank you so so much for featuring one of my trades in the video 47:00!! Also you didn't mention the fact that you traded away my peliper XD
@@AbsolBlogsPokemon Don't be XD, btw can you pls tell me what your "fake" ott and trainer id was just for me to check if I traded with that file of yours at some point?
I’m devastated over the fact that I never clocked into the 3ds service ending also meaning that the online services wouldn’t be there anymore, it just never came to my mind until literally a day after it happened when I wanted to play pokemon and do some wonder trades for old times sake. I was so devastated I almost cried, I don’t use social media and only really hear things through youtube and friends so knowing I was just a day or two late to what would have been my last time seeing what I spent so many hours on in my childhood and teen years was just so sad. Im so glad this video exists because it is definitely making me feel happier knowing that the online features got their last hurrah, thank you matt.
It's me, fnaf 3. Jokes aside, thank you for hosting such an amazing event for a game that means so much to me. Genuinely some of the most fun i've ever had playing a pokemon game, and ill treasure all the little guys I was gifted throughout the weeks forever. shoutouts to the team i'm playing through the game with RootBeerLvr the patrat papermario the cleffa Goomwelder the torkoal David oil the castform Mijo (tm) and Mr. Giggles the giratina
My dumb triple 3DS Xenoblade propaganda setup made it into the video! Thanks for hosting this Wonder trade event ☂! It was a super fun way to send off the 3ds online service. I traded out a ton of Furfrou with the OT That Guy and various Friend Safari Pokemon with the OT Sagittar
I was one of the few that was still trading after the servers officially shut down while you were streaming It ached me to finally shut down my 3ds knowing I could never wonder trade officially again on my 3ds 😢.
not to get weirdly sentimental but i started watching this channel when i was in a really bad place mentally and failed to find joy in... anything, really. but something about your videos and the way you show how much you enjoy these games, the community and such "tedious" tasks of hunting and hatching hundreds of pokemon, and appreciate the little things just always lifted my spirits so much. it made me want to get better and just go through life a little more happy and a little more silly. sometimes it made me feel a little sad because i was yearning for that joy you radiate in your content, almost a little jealous. today you showed up in my sub box again, and ive improved and healed so much since the last time i watched one of these videos. it feels so good. suddenly watching your videos is even more entertaining. this was a blast to watch!
FINALLY got around to watching this and I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun watching a video before!! You told the whole journey so so well and you paced it superbly such that it was an incredibly smooth watch, despite all the chaos lmao. The project itself was incredible to watch unfold and you’ve put together a really fitting tribute to what was a really great feature. It was so much fun being part of one of these for the first time as well, and I’m pleased that Bartholomew the Mantine could contribute to such an insane event/achievement (even if it did come at the expense at getting oiled up)!!
Genuinely probably one of the best showcases of how awesome the Pokémon community is, phenomenal editing, must’ve been a nightmare with all that footage. Alola, 3Ds… your online services will be missed
Yknow I think this is kinda beautiful, an entire community all sending Pokemon together all at once for one last time. It’s crazy cuz I recognise some of the people you got sent Pokemon from I got aswell so it’s cool knowing I and many others were part of this,SEE YA AGAIN IN 10 YEARS WHEN SWITCH ONLINE SHUTS DOWN
The intro made me tear up a bit, the 3ds was my very first handheld console, I had received it as a gift from my grandmother who’s now passed away, and the intro reminded me of all the happy memories and late nights playing sun and moon, my first pokemon games! These videos are always a treat to watch Matt. Keep up the amazing content
This is very impressive, having so many people helping to complete the dex with all the trades, and the stories that got made. This really feels like the ultimate finale for the 3DS. Will miss that handheld, it really had so many good games, while the games are still playable, it's not the same without the online scene.
I could write a heartfelt comment about how much the 3ds impacted me and how this was a loving sendoff to the era, but instead I'll inform you that I watched so many of the wonder trade streams that sometimes I randomly hear "Waltuh" in my head when I'm going about my day.
I'm proud to have delivered Munchalot the Rhyhorn (who shows up briefly at 56:32) to you during the final stream. I managed to catch at least a little bit of every stream and it was such a great experience to have a proper sendoff for 3DS online. I was never particularly a fan of Rhyhorn before, but in breeding them for the WT Gauntlet and coming up with nicknames, I actually grew really fond of them and gained a newfound appreciation for it and now it's one of my favorite Pokemon! I transferred a bunch of the guys I got up to Pokemon Home and of course that included the ones I got from Matt and a few Mijos, but there were also just a lot of guys I got from random people in the stream chat that had fun nicknames and I wanted to keep around. It was so fun seeing the person I was trading with in chat and thanking each other for the Pokemon we had recieved from each other. While a lot of people were specifically trying to send out the Pokemon that Matt needed, it was clear that there were also a lot of people just wanting to share some of their favorites with creative nicknames. It was truly a magicoil experience :)
1:01:12 I never expected an Absol video to make me cry. But when Fraxure appeared and it dawned on me just how monumental a moment this was-this massive community effort right at the end of 3DS Wonder Trade’s existence…I just started crying. Tears of joy. A true moment of hope, beauty, and joy that (as such moments often do) came from the strangest place. Thank you to everyone who made this video possible.
12:07 cant believe this is my legacy now LMAOO, this was so fun to participate in! i will never forget the moment where i just came back from playing splatoon with my family directly into the pokedex completion (and then getting a gifted sub, thank you johnstone o7)
2:07 look ma I'm on TV with the ice giraffe It was sincerely, an amazing experience to take part in this gauntlet. Especially since I was sick the entire time. Radar chaining off stream and then wonder trading was seriously therapeutic for me. I found your channel a few months before this gauntlet and it really reignited my love of Pokemon after being fairly jaded about it for years. Your videos really bring out the charm of Pokemon that I hadn't felt in a long time. I even played the Gen 9 games and really enjoyed them after not giving any of the Switch games a chance at all. So thank you for bringing me back into Pokemon and reminding me why I loved it so much. Also thanks to everyone who wonder traded, I will love and cherish all my Slurbb nmms, Mijos and oil based Pokemon. 59:36 Also I'm the one who traded You're fired (which was not mine, I received it earlier that stream and traded it out as a hail mary when I ran out of things to trade. Shoutouts to whoever sent me You're fired.) You can actually see me in the chat screaming YES YES YES when I got the trade. I actually popped off huge there, I will legitimately NEVER forget that moment.
Gut-punching me right out of the gate with Lillie’s theme. This was a real treat to watch. Kudos to you, @KotatsuInUnova and everyone else who helped Gen VII Wonder Trade go out with a bang. Though it’s more impersonal, I would be interested to see something similar with Pokémon HOME. Maybe not completing the whole National Pokédex, but between the Wonder Box and Room Trades, completing challenges there, you’ve got a great wealth of Pokémon from across many different games you can use as Trade Fodder.
this was so emotional to me for some reason. it might be because both pokemon and media archiving are special interests of mine. I have a copy of ultra moon, but I never got too far into it - maybe if I had, and if I wasn't too shy to join in livestreams, and if I had more time on my hands, I could've been part of this. I can't anymore. maybe I can be there for other wonder trade gauntlets in the future, since I have pokemon sword and scarlet. or maybe I'll forget again. either way, what's oiled is oiled. loved this video, as usual. your storylines never fail to get me so invested, and the biggest smile is on my face whenever cal zone or the breaker or any other silly little channel meme shows up. I'd recommend you to anyone regardless of if they like pokemon or not! lots of love from a cringe british pokemon enjoyer. :)
The day the 3ds servers shut down for most people, I was finally able to trade with you. When that happened, I genuinely started freaking out. I’ve been watching your videos for years and I just wanna say thank you. Your vids have gotten me through a lot and I’m happy to have been on that final livestream, it was a lot of fun! Hope that HypYeah I gave you is doing well :D
29:57 hey I know that guy! I didn't end up trading with you, Matt, but hopefully the Malamarmy found good homes out there!! This has been absolutely amazing to see and be even a small part of!
My first video of yours I watched was the X and Y Wonder Trade Gauntlet, since then I have been enjoying Pokemon and even other stuff more than ever. Your content has made me realize how good it feels to just fully enjoy the things you like no matter how ridiculous it is. I still remember when I redeemed a second face cam one stream and you surprised us with the other camera, leading to the birth of Live Breaker Reaction. I am honored to have placed the first domino in chain still prevalent in your livestreams. I am so glad I was able to help reach the goal of completing the Pokédex during this gauntlet with Tammycce the Petilil 25:50, and I am sure she will cheer for you and the 6 champion Pokémon as you make your way to the Pokémon League along with all the other Pokémon received.
One of the most fun videos on the channel so far. The inside jokes just keep going deeper and deeper, makes the past 5 years watching this channel even more worth it.
Wonder Trading nights were some of the most fun Ive had chatting and shiny hunting in a long time, and Im super glad you host these so that we can all come together from across the world with a common goal. And congrats! We did it again!
I joined the movement kind of... in the middle of everything? Wasn't here for the beginning, and I wasn't here for the end, so I'm glad I got to finally unauthentically experience it all! I connected with you a few times, although only one of those times you received a guy with my OT (I traded things back out). Shout out to my Cascoon named "Trowel" who sadly didn't make it into the video... 3DS online shutting down is definitely the end of an era. I'm going to miss the times I randomly went on when I first got Alpha Sapphire last year... I was surprised a lot of people were still wonder trading! But of course, all good things come to an end eventually, so perhaps this whole event this community did was the best ending we could have given it. I think eventually before bank closes, I'll transfer some of the ones I got from you into the newer games, but who knows! I don't have any challenge runs in mind and I've never made any progress on one before lol
It was so fun to watch this! I was on my own 3DS/Wii U shutdown journey, doing Wonder Trades between four different consoles at the end and playing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on my Wii U at the same time. It was very hectic, and I'm proud to have been one of the remaining people online for so long after the shutdown. Thanks for this Matt, it's truly a standing legacy for what the 3DS' online features were.
This channel has come so far from when I first started watching. Always love what you do and love seeing your bestie on screen with you nowadays! Thanks for this epic hero's journey of a gauntlet
God i wish I could have been a part of this all.. Had massive grin during the whole video of the best and most bizzare videos Matt, I love it! May you be oiled up in 5D
i was that person who kept sending out chikorita, and even had like 3 boxes worth of them all named after the lyrics to the sonic underground theme lmao one of my chikorita even made it into the vid!! olive oil (1:07:03) was from me :>
20:44 happy to see my MrSillyPants the Togedemaru made it in some way! Was a huge fan of the first two and finally decided to join a stream. I got "Gen Z" the Lunatone from you and moved it up to home. Thank you!
this video was the greatest send-off, i was actually in tears the day the gauntlet finished, like. i feel like i took the 3ds for granted and i wish i spent so much more time on it while it was there. but absol, thank you eternally!!! i do hope we get a swsh gauntlet eventually too to revive the servers,,,
Hearing him say “I love Jerry” made me happy lol. I know he wasn’t talking to me, but it felt like it. His content has really remarked my interest in pokemon games and has given me a new light to play the game in. I love this stuff man!
Not sure why I'm only watching this now, but it was insane! Trading with everyone in chat and seeing all the _wild_ nicknames and cool Pokémon that people send out is truly a magical time. Such a fun way to send off the 3DS online!
thank you for hosting this and for making this incredible video! i was sitting here excited just reliving the hype of seeing fraxure get traded to you aha. these streams were super fun and probably will remain a highlight for the year in my book. it was so chaotic...and even a bit oily!! i found pictures of my boxes i sent in the vid too, so thank you for including me!
this event was so awesome and so much fun! I loved coming together as a community to avenge the 3DS, and this is has got to be one of my favorite videos from you now! Even if Papaya may not have been mentioned in the movie, I hope you’re taking great care of her (or he, I forgot), I just hope this can be done again sometime, maybe in sword and shield considering it’s probably super dead, scarlet and violet will work great too though, considering that’s also dead, I also wished the justicefortwinkmijo part was in this but that’s okay, because this is genuinely one of the greatest videos not just from you but maybe ever, definitely going in the peak TH-cam playlist also it’s kind of crazy to think I basically started that whole Bellsprout bit
I will forever remember this stream, the feeling of a whole community coming together to give a final goodbye. I sadly didnt get any Matt pokemon, but I still enjoyed the streams and cried at 1am.
I feel so honored to be apart of this insane journey, and I’m so happy that everything concluded into this one video that might be in the Pokémon community history books! I joined in into almost every stream, and managed to trade with you twice (so happy that the Furfrou with a clover on top of their head got to sneak into the video) your Solrocks are in good hands
This was such an amazing gauntlet, thank you for hosting it! It was so cool to see everyone come together to get it completed, especially at the very end of the dex. I'm stoked I got to help out a little bit and got a couple trades from you in the process.
i am so happy there are people that care so much about these discontinued services with the actual knowledge to make their own servers and revive these old games' online functionalities. great video as always, matt!
This video was weirdly emotional for me. I got ultra moon for christmas the same year it came out and i spent hours playing it, i still have my original save even tho i have a habit of deleting them to replay games. I also loved wonder trading as well as the gts. Its kinda sad to see such a large part of my life just disappear, but this stream and this video is probably the best send off to the 3ds servers, its so nice to see such a lovely celebration of the 3ds games and their communities.
Wasn't expecting it to be so emotional at the end when Fraxure showed up and that final communication error hit. The 3DS Pokémon games, especially X&Y are one of the first things me and the missus bonded over: it was the first Pokédex we ever truly finished and we went hard on shiny hunting, even doing the horrendous Soft Reset starter hunts in SuMo AND USUM. The 3DS era of Pokémon was unlike anything else and it's so sad to see it finally go. Thanks for doing this, it was awesome to see. Gutted I wasn't there to help out, seems like it was an absolute blast.
This video is one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time. I love how much genuine fun you seem to be having with your content. You have such a cool community and this was such a crazy accomplishment.
It was so crazy being there for the final stream! I had class and I couldn’t trade forever, but I managed to get back and see the Fraxure trade happen!
Hey Matt! this was truely an experience that I am so glad I got to share. I am very glad you got my Orb (40:05) and I am really thankful for you bringing together the wonderful trade community for this one. Keep on rockin. -TorbTheOrb
this was the first wonder trade gauntlet i actually got to contribute to, i sent in the carbink named wally darling :o) i wasnt able to trade much due to a lack of prep but ill try and be better prepared for the next one
I can’t believe it. I was trading on gen 6 the whole time that day (X was my first game) and got connected to somebody with a Pkmn Center NY event cartridge (machine B) and got a Seadra. I remember a month before that I was playing Sluurb nnm? hot potato with three other people I kept connecting to. These are memories I’ll be keeping, and it’s only because 3DS WiFi was ending. It’s been fun, and I don’t think wonder trading will ever be as fun again.
I just wanted to say, I love your channel. I love how passionate you are about Pokémon and how much fun you seem to have with it! Very inspiring... please never stop with your videos! I love them!!
Participating in this was such a fun time, between all the weird stuff I received through out, all the running jokes through the streams and the moment the dex was completed. I'll tell you right now I was just as hyped to see it actually completed at the last minute as you were. Genuinely thank you for doing this. Glad I was able to contribute, even if it was only indirectly by my Sudowoodo Ando finding it's way to you and helping Oobleg with the CalZoneFans and the other stuff he was trading.
I literally heard about this just after it had finished, so wish I could have been a part of it, another incredible video though! May the horse be with you!
This gauntlet was such an amazing thing to partake in live! It was incredible seeing people within the community come together and just have fun trading with each each other one last time before the 3ds severs shut down. I hope whoever recieved my multiple Bounsweet named Trans Rights (and some other stuff, such as the whole list of Horrid Henry Charecters) shall cherish them :)
I can't believe this. My friend and I were wondertrading around the same time, trying to complete our Alola dexes, and we kept getting pokemon with "oil" nicknames! My favourites were a Spinda called "MIMI OILY" a golduck named "gamer oil", and an Igglybuff named "BOILS IN OIL". I was so confused, I even looked it up to see if it was some meme I was missing. And now I started watching this video and it all clicked into place. I've loved your videos for years and I'm happy to have (indirectly) been a part of this haha. Long live 3DS online!
oh my gosh, i've been looking forward to this so much dude!!!! i love your community so much, everyone is so kind, welcoming and just overall awesome, and this video highlights not only how awesome they are, but you and kotatsu are. never change man!!!
Didn't expect the video to bring this type of rollercoster: from infinite oil gathering, to kidnapping, to horror and to cap off all of that with a very epic finale. Guess the trades weren't the only wonder thing that happened during this project haha. An amzing and hectic journey to witness and no doubt, a memorable ans satisfying send off to the 3ds servers (not counting the loopholes). Wasn't able to contribute but I'm glad things work out in the end :) And now that you're rich you can purchase the servers and run it back on the other games lol.
Doing trades for this was super fun! That last day was some of the most fun I've had on wonder trade in a long time, and that last hour had my heart pumping so hard!
This video made me emotional. Thank you for hosting this special Wonder Trade event! It took a while but we were able to complete the Dex right up until the end. I am so happy I was able to participate in this crazy gauntlet, trading about 200 times. On the final day, I decided to Wonder Trade in Pokémon Y instead while I watched your livestream. I was able to stay connected online for over 8 days, before my 3DS XL ran out of battery live on stream, while I was asleep. I wish I was able to stay connected longer, but it was all worth being part of this amazing and historical event. Shout out to my April 9th Oddish, Wo0o0o Mama Gastly, Ryan Reynold, Honse, Mijo, Sluurb nmm?, Oiled Up, Calzonfan, Waltuh, Harold, and all the others 🫡
As someone who took part in the XY wonder trade gauntlet, this video really brought back a lot of memories from then. I still have many of Pokemon I traded from then and will continue to cherish them, especially the few or so I was able to contribute to that gauntlet (Shoutout to the :) wooper, who ended up a part of #murkrow team. Love knowing my little guy has made it big.)
Thank you so much to everyone who joined in on this crazy community effort and sent in pictures/videos of your setup/wonder trades!!! I am still so curious of the origin story of that name
@@AbsolBlogsPokemonif you insist: i was texting my brother random gibberish that slowly evolved into back and forth onamatepoeia of snails and slugs, which I randomly decided to name the original panpour months after
@@averyblock5 THIS IS SO HUGE LORE-WISE
I think Sluurb nmm? Also sounds like what a Panpour would say, and I want you to know that I had gotten one and another Panpour with its hidden ability and one of your monkeys now has many descendants
@@lindseylindsey9200 thank you for expanding his lineage 🙏
I love the idea of N, for all his mystery and intrigue and his role as the king of Team Plasma, just having your voice
LMAO I AM STILL SO SORRY about the Pelipper. I think that was one of 2 trades I did the entire gauntlet that was not my own Pokemon
Im so glad this video exists because it is definitely making me feel happier knowing that the online features got their last hurrah, thank you matt.
same here 😭started up ultra moon, went to festival plaza, oops.
It's me, fnaf 3. Jokes aside, thank you for hosting such an amazing event for a game that means so much to me. Genuinely some of the most fun i've ever had playing a pokemon game, and ill treasure all the little guys I was gifted throughout the weeks forever.
shoutouts to the team i'm playing through the game with
RootBeerLvr the patrat
papermario the cleffa
Goomwelder the torkoal
David oil the castform
Mijo (tm)
and Mr.
Every Absolblogs upload I have 3ds concert audio quality energy
Shout out to mindy being able to trade with alola from sinnoh,
the power of science is amazing
It’s crazy cuz I recognise some of the people you got sent Pokemon from I got aswell so it’s cool knowing I and many others were part of this,SEE YA AGAIN IN 10 YEARS WHEN SWITCH ONLINE SHUTS DOWN
I love how unhinged your vids get Umbrella. Keep up the.... whatever this is.
The intro made me tear up a bit, the 3ds was my very first handheld console, I had received it as a gift from my grandmother who’s now passed away, and the intro reminded me of all the happy memories and late nights playing sun and moon, my first pokemon games! These videos are always a treat to watch Matt. Keep up the amazing content
my first one was a little 2ds with pokemon moon ☺️ all those nights of hiding under my blankets to play a little more of Moon,,
This is very impressive, having so many people helping to complete the dex with all the trades, and the stories that got made.
I was the one who sent french minior, thanks for sending me a Pokémon ! Im taking good care of Pearlina the Mewtwo :3
Matt, you and kotasu together is litterally the best content we could ask for. This was an amazing time, thank you for the memories
This might be my favorite absolblogs video yet, had a blast trading with you and everyone else!!!
Thank you for passing Claire's Fraxure along
This was beautiful, I wish I'd caught it live. You n Kotaksu are delightful streamin' together!
Its insane how your videos make me feel like there's actually joy and happiness in the world. Unironically make me want to live more
2:07 look ma I'm on TV with the ice giraffe
It was sincerely, an amazing experience to take part in this gauntlet.
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Truly a historic trade
Another masterpiece from Absol, how DOES he do it???
Can't wait for the Oiltra Moon playthrough with the gang.
The HypYeah is doing fantastic and enjoying a nice day on the beach
29:57 hey I know that guy! I didn't end up trading with you, Matt, but hopefully the Malamarmy found good homes out there!! This has been absolutely amazing to see and be even a small part of!
Spent the whole video giggling but now I'm emotional. Rip 3DS online services 💖 so many good memories, this is a wonderful way to end things!
Thank you so much!!!! Breaker Cam has been a GAME CHANGER
One of the most fun videos on the channel so far. The inside jokes just keep going deeper and deeper, makes the past 5 years watching this channel even more worth it.
I am so glad to be the deliverer of Skin Jugulis the Hydreigon, those last few trades were hype as hell. Good video!
This video gets me real oiled up
So happy to see this video. It was such a fun experience being there and participating in it
“And then they all died” had me cracking up so bad
GremlinGremlin is amazing
May you be oiled up in 5D
i was that person who kept sending out chikorita, and even had like 3 boxes worth of them all named after the lyrics to the sonic underground theme lmao
one of my chikorita even made it into the vid!! olive oil (1:07:03) was from me :>
20:44 happy to see my MrSillyPants the Togedemaru made it in some way!
Even if Papaya may not have been mentioned in the movie, I hope you’re taking great care of her (or he, I forgot), I just hope this can be done again sometime, maybe in sword and shield considering it’s probably super dead, scarlet and violet will work great too though, considering that’s also dead, I also wished the justicefortwinkmijo part was in this but that’s okay, because this is genuinely one of the greatest videos not just from you but maybe ever, definitely going in the peak TH-cam playlist
also it’s kind of crazy to think I basically started that whole Bellsprout bit
55:00 we're gonna need either a ukulele or interpretive dance apology for that one I'm afraid
The best trilogy ever put to screen, what a finale.
These videos always make me smile, seeing the community come together to do silly epic things like this!!! Loved the video, Matt!!! ❤
33:20 BIG GUY ON THE BIG SCREEN!!
1:05:42 WOW BIG GUY IN THE TOP 4!!
Great video Matt, had a blast sending you Big Guy, can't wait till the next one!!
I will forever remember this stream, the feeling of a whole community coming together to give a final goodbye. I sadly didnt get any Matt pokemon, but I still enjoyed the streams and cried at 1am.
I'm so emotional, seeing you inspires me to enjoy what I love to the fullest. Thanks Absol, and farewell 3DS services
This will go down in history as one of Matt's best videos! o7's to the 3ds online servers!
That was one of my missiles (special oil edition!!) at 59:02! It hit exactly on the planned ending time I'm so proud of that little guy
Thank you for making such a fun community event and video
Just dropping a preemptive comment before watching. I *love* your Wonder Trade Gauntlet videos and I can't wait to dive into this one!
oh this was such a blast to watch live, im very excited about this movie!! congrats on finishing this undertaking, matt!
This video is one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time. I love how much genuine fun you seem to be having with your content. You have such a cool community and this was such a crazy accomplishment.
It was so crazy being there for the final stream! I had class and I couldn’t trade forever, but I managed to get back and see the Fraxure trade happen!
this. this is why i love pokemon so much, the way it brings people together will always be something that keeps me going in life. Awesome video!

Its.... TIME
Hey Matt! this was truely an experience that I am so glad I got to share.
It's always such a thrill to come back and rewatch this
I can't believe this.
Likewise!!! Happy you're a part of it!
I'm so glad that saving RUFF for the anthem paid off
Didn't expect the video to bring this type of rollercoster: from infinite oil gathering, to kidnapping, to horror and to cap off all of that with a very epic finale.
