Great video. I pulled up the carpet easy. But when I went to pull the carpet strip I found a secret door in the sub floor. My dad had been trapped down there for over 24 years. He had been eating rats and sawdust.

@@georgeblank2648 well……. He’s okay I guess. One of the main issues he had was no human contact for all those years. He could hear us, but we couldn’t hear him. Also, all his teeth were rotted out.

So my carpet tack strips have liquid nails attaching it to the subfloor. Any advice? Neither of these methods are working.
You might be able to read the label on a liquid nails tube and find out if they recommend a certain chemical to remove the adhesive. In general soaking stuff in acetone helps to remove just about anything.
Omg no easier way. I was trying to find a faster way... rip.. oh well
