The explanation of this video: The animation of the guns in Battlefield 1 are faster than in Verdun. In my opinion, this is because Battlefield 1 is characterized by close and fast combat (this type of game requires very fast animations). Verdun instead has more strategy (the combat is also very close, but it requires less speed), so the programmers could put more realistic animations, in the matter of speed and details. In summary: if you like First world war games, both titles are great, so don´t be assholes.
@@josephf9324, I disagree since there are some features that are in bf1, that aren’t in other ww2 games. Verdun gun sounds are so close to the real thing. I have fired many Mauser and Enfeild Rifles and have owned multiple they load and sound exacly like that just with more recoil and 50x louder. The loading in Verdun is timed perfectly especialy for the pistols that take clips not mags even down to the 3 times it takes to push the bullets from the striper clip into them i love it. Its easy to load quick when your not being shot at but it has to be done slower. Alot of these guns take time to reload. For example load an Enfeild to quick and you will over lap the rimmed rounds and will have to start again taking twice as long and getting yourself shot. Its easy to tell who only has gun knowlege from games. Very easy.
I wouldn't exactly say the Mauser Rifle in Verdun sounds closer to real life. Though I've only shot one a few times, Battlefield's take on it sounded closer. I'll probably take your word on the Enfeild Rifle, as I've never shot one before.
nick brown I am a Mauser enthusiast and bf1s Gewehr 98 reload was actually a bit more realistic since the bolt is shut with the clip in while the Verdun one had the soldier manually removing the clip. Not to mention when I use Mauser stripper clips, they go in the magazine with one swift push. Verdun did better on the Enfield one since Rimmed cartridge clips don't usually go straight in like a Mauser and the clips are manually removed.
MetalheadMitch Yeah you are deffanetly right about the mouser Rifals clips going in smooth, when i said mauser takes 3 presses for the strips to go in i meant the Mauser pistol, i have only ever fired 1 but its exacly how it was. but i cant agree with manualy pulling the clip from the action. K98 spits clip very well with the action closing but they were useing the straight bolt action in WW1. The bolt rarely jams ejecting the clip from the K98 Mausers but a muddy battlefeild would change that in a second and my 1904 Portuguese Mauser (rebarraled to K98 barral in the 1930's with original 1904 action) jams about 50% of the time on closing the action even tho it has a mauser strate bolt action witch is closer to the WW1 actions then the K98s. I personaly use the bolt to eject the clips on my mousers and my Mk111 Enfeild when target shooting but not for hunting. If i was fighting on the Verduns battle feilds for real id never risk losing a second to having to pull the clip out after failing to close the action. i dont expect people to judge game guns down to exacts like i do. Its just nice when they do. I love BF1 more but i still have to give it to Verdun. but thanks for the comment MetalheadMitch and if you ever get the chance to get your hands on an 303. Enfeild Mk1 to Mk111 to shoot take it plus being a mauser shooter the waight will be fine for you. carrys 5 extra rounds. nick brown I own 2 Gewehr 98s and I have never had that problem with ejecting the clips. That problem would only happen if you push the bolt really slowly or if the clip was not in the guide since the bolt knocks it from the bottom which pushes it away from the action. I have shot Lee Enfields before, I am not a fan of the rimmed cartridge and cock on close action and jams. The Gewehr 98 actually can be bolted fast and aimed down the sights. If you bolt fast enough, you won't really notice the bolt when it's up just like a Luger does, the rifle can be still while bolted if your face is far enough back to not get it hit by the bolt and if you slightly torque the rifle with your left hand while bolting with your right. Getting faster than 1 aimed shot per second is not hard using this method.
the reason why Verdun's reload animations are slower is because the devs focused more on realism (and im not saying that Verdun is better than bf1 one, but it is imo)
try reloading that fast in combat with ur hands shaking I even watched a movie clip where a soldier was try to pull the pin of a grenade but he was struggling because he's hands were shaking
Ill bet you will be shaky when in the battlefield. It doesnt matter if youre afraid to die or not but your natural instinct is to survive and you will be full of adrenaline which makes doing everything much harder.
first off soldiers in WWI where mostly conscripts and could be farmers who probably never shot a gun, and probably got minimal training because the countries needed troops and quickly he would fumble alot of mags and finding one would take most of the time.
not verdun and not bf1 .. only heros and generals :) more realistic than both ..bigger map ...tutorials ..faction guns ...better vehicle ..and NO BODY FLING GLITCH LIEK BF1
Yes, Verdun reloading animations can be slower, but atleast they are accurate, no? I mean, of course i saw some confusing movements and late sounding, Hotchkiss and Webley for example.
I seriously don't get why BF1 and Verdun are compared so much.... I mean this one I get since it's just the reload animations, but why do people compare a realistic WW1 shooter with a casual shooter in terms of gameplay, they are completly diffrent......
NoFlu because both are ww1 and they are literakly the only two multiplayer fps ww1 games in the world. There has been a very few other ww1 fps games, but not multiplayer. (necrovision for example)
There's also the matter of BF fanboys harping on about "muh realism" to the CoD fans just because their graphics are usually slightly better. When put against a game with an actual commitment to real world conditions, BF is revealed to be just as bad as CoD in the silly buggers department. (unreasonably common and advanced tech for the time, rapid reloads executed with robotic precision, gimmicky superweapons, universal ammo, accurately shooting a 50+ pound .30 calibre machine gun whilst wearing a cast iron stove and running up a mountain, etc)
about37ninjas oh good god that was priceless xD ... I am a BF fan but i really like verdun! I prefer the realism to that of the SHOOST EVSHVERYTHINSG of the BF series
NoFlu I remember a few years ago when people were saying how realistic battlefield was compared to call of duty and now people are saying battlefield is an arcade shooter
not gonna lie, i kinda like the reload animations from Verdun better than BF1, they might look a little slower but i think its fine for most of the guns. also 2:25, i think thats the first time ive ever seen one of the potato mashers armed, in most games the action goes so quick that it looks like they are just pulling it out and throwing it, but i like the Verdun version, where it shows the person actually unscrew the bottom and then throw it, i actually didn't know for a long time thats how those were primed, since i had only seen them in video games.
Yeah, you also get an awesome feeling in Verdun when you arm a Geballte 6x or 9x, cause it the thing fills your screen when priming and looks and sounds devastating when thrown.
PeTTräk The bf1 revolver had a case ejector on the gun. The Verdun one is a German Reichsrevolver which did not have one and you had to use a small wood stick to eject the case.
what i like about Verdun that the gunfire sounds are so loud, especially in spectator mode or just by standing near someone firing, if any of you guys heard a gun shot before a couple of meters from you, you'll know how loud the gun is when its being fired. i bet all of the soldiers who participated in ww1 and made it back to their homes(if they even had homes to come back to) lost a lot of their percentage of hearing. maybe even deaf in one of the ears...
Hazard bf1 gun sounds are loud, and I completely understand what you’re saying but gun sounds in real life sometimes sound like there is no noise, only echo.
aWoodpecker Yeah I agree. Those men must have had ringing ears during the heavy gun fire exchange. The worst imo is when you start to get dizzy and ur ears are ringing with what feels like something pushing in your ears with heavy pressure. Now at a distance, each 50 yards ur away from the gun fire, it starts to slowly become echos. I was shooting with a friend and we wanted to see, or rather hear the difference each 50 yards. And sure enough, each 50 yards, it got less louder n slowly become more like an echo.
I think the comparison between BF1 and Verdun is a bit strange since both games play differently despite taking place in WW1 but still to their credit they're both equally great in their own ways. BF1= Best action WW1 FPS Verdun= Best realistic WW1 FPS
Verdun dumps on battlefield 1 in the gun sounds/realistic loading catagory, But since battlefield 1 is made by a AAA studio and Verdun is made by a small company most people have never heard of, the gameplay of Battlefield is better than Verdun. If u like fast paced action play Battlefield 1, if you like realism play Verdun its simple :D.
Nearly all of the reload animations are more realistic. I have however found only one case where BF1 has a better reload animation and that is in the Lebel 1886 rifle. Here is a link referring to what I mean : th-cam.com/video/9yM68YFzRGY/w-d-xo.html . In Verdun, when the soldier is done putting rounds in the magazine, he closes the bolt normally which is a problem. Due to the way the Lebel is made, after putting the rounds in the magazine, the bolt needs to be cycled twice in order to chamber a round. This is the only time I have seen BF1 have a superior reload animation.
nope not at all the budget is without doubt more put into bf1 than verdun u can tell by graphics, the realistic feeling with the weapons is wut makes verdun so great in comparison thats all.
I fired my grandfather's Lee-Enfield without earplugs some months ago - first and last time I make that mistake. I actually got shellshocked from it, took a few minutes for my hearing to go back to normal. Still pretty cool exprience to shoot the rifle though.
Verdun: "Hey ! Unterfield ! How many hit does to take out enemy with sniper rifle like mauser ?" Battlefield: "Three times why ?" Verdun: *in Laughter* Battlefield: "whats wrong ?" Verdun: "Only one shot, one shot"
Nathan Valadao Same. The reloads in verdun is better to me. More authentic. I been training with firearms for a few years and reloading is not as smooth as cod and bf1 makes it to be. But I'm aware it's a triple A game and needs to appeal to gamers with fast paced action. So realistic reloading animations would be a huge turn off.
fuck the comments are just cancer. both games are good just leave it there. one is an action game one is a realism game, just go play them and have fun
Blue Screen my thoughts exactly, bf1 wasn't aiming for realistic, it was aiming for a fads pace shooter, which it is. People need to stop complaining the two.
I love to see how Bf fanboys feel entitled to bash CoD in all aspects (even guns or reload animations) But when their game gets bashed by something else that beats the shit out of Bf (gun realism wise) they all get offended and say the two games are not comparabe at all :D
I don't know why people keep saying BF1 guns sounds realistic when I found the sounds of those guns to be very arcady. Verdun guns DO sound like the real guns.
6:08 Verdun: Where are those bullets coming from, Battlefield 1? Battlefield 1: I'm just holding them in my palm and slipping them up really fast. Verdun: What are you?
Verdun-2015 game Battlefield almost 2017 game.First bf1 sounds sound like my grandma's fart.Bf1 is just a game that the only you do is run in the middle of nowhere and shoot people and reload in front of a tank.Verdun is a more realistic game.Gun sounds are better and becuase of the slow reload(more realistic)you have to hide to reload.I think its more realistic because you always have to have a strategy in game. But Battlefield 1 has a really big advantage,Its really fun to play alone or with friend.Verdun doesnt have that, unfortunately. Finally,I think this 2 games are really good,i have tried them both and i tottaly recommend them to you guys.
Gergely Nagy First stop talking like that.Second,If Verdun is realistic and bf1 isa casual shooter why Pc Gaming videos compare them hm?????And you dont have to start a sentence like that "Why you stupid cant........"
The nice thing about the reloads in Verdun is that they actually seem as if the player character had to reach into an ammo pouch to gran the next clip or magazine, where as the BF1 PC reloads so fast that it could have only been accomplished if they clip or magazine was on a table beside them or they had modern flawless high speed mag pouches.
For the Tankergewehr animation in Verdun, you can see he loads an empty cartridge. I'm guessing this is because they didn't have a separate model of the bullet with a slug in it, so they just used what they had.
Oh dear god the BF1 animation for loading the Hotchkiss M1909 at 3:23, the guy just jams it in, well if you didn't know, the clips for that gun are fragile and could bend super easy and make the clip useless, you would never jam it in like that. The slow gentle load of the clip into the M1909 on the Verdun animation makes me think that the devs really cared about the details.
0:41 this is a small complaint, but I don’t believe that the webley service revolver was reloaded using a speed loader, rather placing the rounds in Individually
If you play Back to Basics in BF1 on Passchendaele or River Somme, I feel like it captures WWI atmosphere amazingly. Especially when you turn off the HUD. With that said both games appeal to different audiences and there's no definitive answer to which is better.
Daulton Todd I mean real life reload times will be different every time depending situation and how long you been using and training with a certain gun
Gotta go with Verdun on this one. BF1 firearms sound like everything had an integrated suppressor and the animations look like the guy pulled the mag from his sleeve.
Not really. In terms of reload speed, yes. The bf1 reloads are inhumanly fast and in some cases break the laws of physics, but THE VERDUN LEBEL RELOAD DISSAPOINTS ME IMMENSELY. How the hell do they do that much research on the weapons and not know how the Lebel loads?
It's cool how they both have different accuracies. The BF1 guns sound more realistic (probably not the REAL sounds from the specific guns, though, save for maybe the 1911, those are pretty much everywhere) but verdun actually has realistic animations for reloading. Nobody was slamming rounds down within a millisecond with stripper clips, they're finicky little things that take a little bit of time to make work. Also different animations for working some actions (for instance the 1895 or some of the bolt actions) and the lebel, let's not even MENTION how inaccurate that thing looks in the vid compared to verdun in reloading.
@@Jao2O Dont be A Fanboy look how BF 1 Reloading Weapons Is so fast while In Verdun the Reload is Slower which Close to Realistic since You cant reload a Weapon As Fast in Real Life And while Verdun had the loud sounds Than Bf 1 which is Look Quiet. Maybe The devs are Focusing Realism (not Meant To hate BF 1 They both look fun Both are Cool)
one thing that bothers me about verdun, why bother to take off stripper clips? Seriously, you're wasting valuable seconds with something that can be done by just closing the bolt.
well towards a war like WWI militaries would begin to have troops save magazines so they wouldn't have to produce soo many. In BF1 you could probably find enough metal lying around to build a miniature skyscraper with all the mags they waste.
no doubt, but while that's fine for sniping, it really isn't appropriate when you're in the thick of it and need to reload AND FAST. I've had my share of close calls, and that extra 1 - 1.5 second has costed me my life on more than one occasion.
Khorne Flakes Stripper clips can get caught in the bolt sometimes. With all the mud and grime in the trenches I wouldn't be surprised if it got stuck more often, hence pulling out the stripper clip so you don't spend minutes getting a jammed clip out.
Khorne Flakes They were down in the gun. Simply closing the bolt didn't necessarily work they need pulled out I own several guns like these and they need pulled out. Only a few guns ever had a system where the clip was ejected upon closing the bolt. Kar98k and Springfield M1903. I'm sure there were more but I just don't remember or am not aware of them. But to reiterate, the clips aren't ejected just by pushing the bolt forward.
At about 0:39 it seems in the Verdun version of the revolver, there are still bullets in the shells when he reloads. He shot all 6 so perhaps it was an over sight?
people that said verdun's reload animation is more realistic has never been in a situation like "reload faster you dumb gun, theres three enemy in front of me" and then dies
well too be fair most of the soldiers in WWI on the western front where farmers or young lads who probably never fired a gun and with arty and bullets flying around you it would be common for a soldier to fumble a mag in his hand or just fumble trying to find one. Also guns in WWI where the best and most clean, bullets wouldn't slide easily into it or a mag wouldn't always slide right in.
Well you see, unlike in Battlefield, in WWI you would never need to reload faster with three enemies in front of you. Most of the time, there were no enemies in front of you (none that you can see, anyway). Verdun captures this lack of vision and stagnant fronts perfectly. It was a very, very slow war.
The explanation of this video:

Jokes on you those things need to be recycled, have fun with one less mag when you go to get yours refilled.
Those mags also aren't cheap. Especially not the P08 mags.
Back then it you were lucky to have a backup mag in your side arm, also only a few higher ranking soldiers carried side arms.
Jericho Albano Not having an extra clip means you have one less clip to potentially fill with ammo.
Meaning you’re down by one less clip.

first off soldiers in WWI where mostly conscripts and could be farmers who probably never shot a gun, and probably got minimal training because the countries needed troops and quickly he would fumble alot of mags and finding one would take most of the time.
not verdun and not bf1 .. only heros and generals :)
more realistic than both ..bigger map ...tutorials ..faction guns ...better vehicle ..and NO BODY FLING GLITCH LIEK BF1
Yes, Verdun reloading animations can be slower, but atleast they are accurate, no? I mean, of course i saw some confusing movements and late sounding, Hotchkiss and Webley for example.
ian't verdun an indie game too?
Danthon Mira hum when you are on war i think you dont go that slow to reload
Nah man scientifically the body becomes twitchy and uncontrolly as shit when in extreme amnts of stress
elma, but the bf1 animations arent clumsy, they just look as if the soldiers are fly as fuck and want to look cool while on the battlefield
They look like like sokdiers that've been practicing for yeears to look like they fit in. (which they don't)
Gabriele Genota what ever happened to fun?
There's a better arming animation in Day of Infamy
Both cool in their own ways
Yeah, you also get an awesome feeling in Verdun when you arm a Geballte 6x or 9x, cause it the thing fills your screen when priming and looks and sounds devastating when thrown.
lazyartist Last just look at DOIs German grenade it looks way better
note to self while playing verdun : always prone dont stand up while pushing on flander

Battlefield: Are you done?
PeTTräk have you ever shot and realoted a real revolver? cause trust me it takes time
Critical Brutality but these days we have speed-loaders
Kyle Boyd it still isnt as fast as most people thing
Critical Brutality I know. I also know how fast it is, and it's definitely faster than that
PeTTräk The bf1 revolver had a case ejector on the gun. The Verdun one is a German Reichsrevolver which did not have one and you had to use a small wood stick to eject the case.
Team Verdun ?
Quentin 29000 meep😶

What?
@Santiago Juarez its seem good but i Iike battlefield 1
what i like about Verdun that the gunfire sounds are so loud, especially in spectator mode or just by standing near someone firing, if any of you guys heard a gun shot before a couple of meters from you, you'll know how loud the gun is when its being fired. i bet all of the soldiers who participated in ww1 and made it back to their homes(if they even had homes to come back to) lost a lot of their percentage of hearing. maybe even deaf in one of the ears...
Hazard bf1 gun sounds are loud, and I completely understand what you’re saying but gun sounds in real life sometimes sound like there is no noise, only echo.
aWoodpecker
Yeah I agree.
The Grand master of eggs Jesus christ that is wrong for some guns in every way. My first time firing a shotgun the bang made my eyes water.
BF1 is like a hollywood movie. It's amazing visually and it's fun to watch but probably not historically accurate.
Hardy Kenton "Probably" it's not at all. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just a fact.
battlefield was built around being fun in no way is it realistic
The Stach
Why do people always say a game can be either fun or realistic? You do know you can get realistic and fun to play games right?
Many of the weapons used are based on the guns from the war. Many were prototypes that are so rare that they go for tens of thousands of dollars
Ww1 wasent documented as good as ww2 which makes bf1 slide on that bot everything else you said has a point
I think the comparison between BF1 and Verdun is a bit strange since both games play differently despite taking place in WW1 but still to their credit they're both equally great in their own ways.
BF1= Best action WW1 FPS
Verdun= Best realistic WW1 FPS
Verdun: Want to hear a joke?
BF1 : Yes.
Verdun: Bayonet on the MP18.
:D
Verdun dumps on battlefield 1 in the gun sounds/realistic loading catagory, But since battlefield 1 is made by a AAA studio and Verdun is made by a small company most people have never heard of, the gameplay of Battlefield is better than Verdun. If u like fast paced action play Battlefield 1, if you like realism play Verdun its simple :D.
ChaoticSky indeed, the only reason they're compared is because they're the only WW1 games around.
Basically you're saying the difference is budget? Because that's the only difference I see
nope not at all the budget is without doubt more put into bf1 than verdun u can tell by graphics, the realistic feeling with the weapons is wut makes verdun so great in comparison thats all.
Wait hold up, battlefield uses real gun sounds while verdun uses computer generated. Battlefield takes the cake with the gun sounds.
BF1 guns sounds like a cat being stroked with a soap.
Orion McCookies either you're trolling, have horrible sense of hearing or you're too poor to buy good audio output technology
Hive Nation No, but they sound horrible.
Orion McCookies did you think that was funny when you typed that comment and posted it??
Maurice Galindo I thought it was
Maurice Galindo th they do, I've fired lee enfields and verdun sounds very realistic. They sound more of s crack than a boom
Verdun sounds better, guns are supposed to be barking not making a pew noise
BF1 Sounds are literally real guns recorded and put into the game
Karsten Flom so you want mic users ears to be bursted okay....
I fired my grandfather's Lee-Enfield without earplugs some months ago - first and last time I make that mistake. I actually got shellshocked from it, took a few minutes for my hearing to go back to normal. Still pretty cool exprience to shoot the rifle though.
You got PTSD from firing his rifle?
Shell shock can also refer to the state of disorientation and loud ringing in your ears after a shall has landed nearby.
Verdun: "Hey ! Unterfield ! How many hit does to take out enemy with sniper rifle like mauser ?"
Battlefield: "Three times why ?"
Verdun: *in Laughter*
Battlefield: "whats wrong ?"
Verdun: "Only one shot, one shot"
Most boot actions in bf1 are 2 shot kills at most ranges not 3
PERSONAL OPINION:
Verdun in Everything but Grenades
Nathan Valadao i perfer the reloads for battlefield, verdun's animations just look stiff to me
Nathan Valadao true. Totally true. Animation is good but explosion effect is just lame
lispy_wolf remember that Verdun was made by Blackmill games, not very popular, and didn’t see much action...
(Edit) I forgot to put in Verdun.
0:30 does the reload sfx on verdun remind you of something??
Nathan Valadao
Same.
Blue Screen THANK YOU
Blue Screen my thoughts exactly, bf1 wasn't aiming for realistic, it was aiming for a fads pace shooter, which it is. People need to stop complaining the two.
True!
Battlefield has fast reload animations because its a fast paced shooter game
Bf fans be like:
VERDUN COPIED BF1 (kid starts to piss himself)
Chill out, plenty of people here play both games.

Are you srsly a critic
@@MaxwellAerialPhotography Thats me
I love to see how Bf fanboys feel entitled to bash CoD in all aspects (even guns or reload animations)
But when their game gets bashed by something else that beats the shit out of Bf (gun realism wise) they all get offended and say the two games are not comparabe at all
:D
Battlefield 1 sounds
Verdun reload animations in my opinion anyway
more reallistic
bobinbox 123 more realistic but bf1 reload is a bit more bad ass
bobinbox 123 battlefield = semi arcade game v
verdun = semi simulation game
I thought Verdun sounded a lot better than BF1 but it seems like a lot of people think BF1 sounds better so to each his own, I suppose.
+TwentythreePER sounds from verdun like a sounds from Hollywood films about WW2
Verdun, no matter how much I like battlefield, Verdun wins. The animation is slower which makes it more realistic.
Verdun not winne
Bf1 is winner a new gun
0:30 the sfx is a 1911 reload sfx
@@TriNhanDzaDza grammar next time
(No Offense)
@@TriNhanDzaDza I have no idea what you just said
But having slower animations also makes it unrealistic because soldiers in a war wont be reloading that slowly
Not surprised on the reload animations time on Verdun. The game plays slower than battlefield but at the same time more realistic
Verdun. I say this because of the speed of the reloads. Reloading speed in real life is closer to Verdun.
Valentino Franzotti, Panic on war makes reloading mistakes
Valentino Franzotti nah it doesnt matter if your scared of death or not the adrenaline will make your hands shake thus making you reload slower
Unless if you’re really skilled and reload very fast
@@jackstezsavage3815 Well most soldiers in World War one were conscripts who had never fired a gun before.
Channel for Random Stuff even if they did they would most likely still be a slow reloader.
I don't know why people keep saying BF1 guns sounds realistic when I found the sounds of those guns to be very arcady. Verdun guns DO sound like the real guns.
1:26 is that a Ruby? i didn't know that the Ruby is in BF1
TheCesso3 In BF1 it's the Colt 1903 Hammerless and Verdun it's the Ruby and the FN 1900. All three fire .32 ACP so it's a fair comparison.
TheCesso3 yeah me neither
the Ruby was an exact copy of the Colt 1903 hammerless, they're essentially the same gun. its a very fair comparison
I know I'm going to get a ton of triggered BF1 fans here but Verdun's animations and sounds are much better than BF1.
Arrow TT33 DICE did use the actual gun sounds in Bf1
Animations might be more realistic in terms of speed, but they look so bad and stiff. BF1 just has such better animation quality.
Is it have any differents than previous video with sounds?
Ok I see xD
yeah xD
Verdun's guns sound like banging on metal trash cans
True
maks886 Well verdun reloads are more accurate than bf1 and they dont use that sonic speed reloading nonsense
I didn't say anything about reloads. In this case you are correct, BF1's are way too fast
maks886 at least they're not peashooters like battlefield
BF1 guns sound like that too but in a sound proof booth recorded from the outside.

Verdun: Where are those bullets coming from, Battlefield 1?
Battlefield 1: I'm just holding them in my palm and slipping them up really fast.
Verdun: What are you?
In Verdun they look so careful while reloading the gun, while in Battlefield 1 they just throw the empty magazines or cartridges on the ground
That true i mean can you reload that fast while youre in the middle of war
Sioutgeorge 03 you are right but honestly this is a game not a documentary so its ok to be inaccurate
Ftl gamer verdun focuses on trench warface an bf1 focuses on fps so thats why reloading has to be faster
why you stupid cant understand that the verdun is a realistic, while the bf1 is a casual shooter. i could compare cod with bf1 too
Gergely Nagy First stop talking like that.Second,If Verdun is realistic and bf1 isa casual shooter why Pc Gaming videos compare them hm?????And you dont have to start a sentence like that "Why you stupid cant........"
Verdun: More realistic | Battlefield 1: Better Graphics.
Ben Koch graphics don’t matter as much as gameplay. Graphics make it look pretty.
@@deadtomorrow789 well I mean there are still amazing games with bad graphics
The nice thing about the reloads in Verdun is that they actually seem as if the player character had to reach into an ammo pouch to gran the next clip or magazine, where as the BF1 PC reloads so fast that it could have only been accomplished if they clip or magazine was on a table beside them or they had modern flawless high speed mag pouches.
For the Tankergewehr animation in Verdun, you can see he loads an empty cartridge. I'm guessing this is because they didn't have a separate model of the bullet with a slug in it, so they just used what they had.
2:33 BF1 should get that Verdun animation as well, for balancing purposes...
0:30 The Most Classic Reload Sound
verdun has a more realistic reload than BF1 cause all BF1 is a serious competitive matchmaking so the reload is like flash.

BF1 - everthing
Verdun - Reload Animations
Oh dear god the BF1 animation for loading the Hotchkiss M1909 at 3:23, the guy just jams it in, well if you didn't know, the clips for that gun are fragile and could bend super easy and make the clip useless, you would never jam it in like that. The slow gentle load of the clip into the M1909 on the Verdun animation makes me think that the devs really cared about the details.
You must really hate those clouds.
xD
Hahahaha i get it!!!
where did the battlefield guys bullets come from at 6:07 ?
Some Uri Geller shit right there
From the gun you shit fuck

Ravioli Ravioli Give Me The Formeoli *great
why do you compare the hammerless with the fn 1900
0:41 this is a small complaint, but I don’t believe that the webley service revolver was reloaded using a speed loader, rather placing the rounds in Individually
BF: Speed loads
Verdun: Gentle loads.
Wtf is that lebel reload in bf1 did the bullet magically came out of his thumb or something?
My explanation wold be that the guy grabed the 8 bullets at one and were in his hand all the time

From the two, You are going to die with Verdun's reload speed.
I like the battlefield explosions better but verdun got everything else good much better
One of these games is better than the other. I'll let you decide....
but the answer's Verdun
In my opinion verdun will win everytime😍
Adam Jezewski No, Bf1 win
If you play Back to Basics in BF1 on Passchendaele or River Somme, I feel like it captures WWI atmosphere amazingly. Especially when you turn off the HUD. With that said both games appeal to different audiences and there's no definitive answer to which is better.
*Hears Verdun's MP18 gunfire. Flashbacks intensifies*
I think the developers of dice could have learned a thing or two about the actual reload time of these guns from the makers of Verdun...
Daulton Todd I mean real life reload times will be different every time depending situation and how long you been using and training with a certain gun
Bf1 isn't a hardcore simulator, it's a casual, fast paced "smimulataur".
Dice developers knew exactly how long the reloads were but they wanted the game to be fast pacced
God damn it you can just shoot one bullet and reload
Battlefield 1 gun sounds are great.
Verdun is more historically accurate
Man, you fucked those clouds UP
Gotta go with Verdun on this one. BF1 firearms sound like everything had an integrated suppressor and the animations look like the guy pulled the mag from his sleeve.
I believe verdun wins out just because of historical accuracy
Historical accuracuy is nothing if your game is frustrating and boring
And yes verdun is the more realistic

what gun is 4:34 in verdun? i have never shot it nor seen the gun ingame
''The Graphics are better'' Battlefield fanboys....

BF1 is way too quiet
Because the audio for the clips is lowered look on other videos about BF1 reloads
one thing that bothers me about verdun, why bother to take off stripper clips? Seriously, you're wasting valuable seconds with something that can be done by just closing the bolt.
If I had to guess I assume that your character saves his stripper clips (if that's what the devs were trying to imply).
well towards a war like WWI militaries would begin to have troops save magazines so they wouldn't have to produce soo many.
But to reiterate, the clips aren't ejected just by pushing the bolt forward.
verdun is better beacause no one can reload that fucking fast
Froggy Boi if you have a brawl agenst 3-4 players and you need to reload it's a pain in the ass

people that said verdun's reload animation is more realistic has never been in a situation like "reload faster you dumb gun, theres three enemy in front of me" and then dies
well too be fair most of the soldiers in WWI on the western front where farmers or young lads who probably never fired a gun and with arty and bullets flying around you it would be common for a soldier to fumble a mag in his hand or just fumble trying to find one.
But I guess you are in such a situation all the time...
