A magnet works better for getting those Ford spark plugs out

I have an 03 2500 6.0. Check engine light flash after 55mph throwing p0300 code and not shifting after 55. I would go 70mph at 3k rpms & climbing. I did my due dillagence to research it after I did I replaced plugs coils & wires. Seemed to help low idle and sounded much better still had check engine light coming on at 55mph and not shifting after 55. Took it to my mechanic told him to do a crank relearn he did it my truck is fixed. I'm half way amazed he was too. He said if it happens again cam sensor needs replaced. I hope this helps someone.

I'm having the same problem with my 2005 4.8 Sierra. I hope that's just it.

A faulty fuel tank pressure sensor mounted on top of the fuel pump will cause that too, had it happen to my parents 04 Impala, that P0300 drove me almost insane I replaced plugs, coils, injectors, & fuel pump and still had the flashing check engine light and P0300. The NEW fuel pump had a faulty pressure sensor like the old one. Drove me fuckin crazy.

Fuel rail has contamination in it as well as fuel pump and filter, crappy design of fuel system, dealing with this issue on a 2003 Chevy avalanche

I tend to agree. Guy at AutoZone told me to start with fuel system. Has 192k Mike's so needs a tune up anyway. Thanks for the comment

My next option is the injectors. My local auto zone seems to think it's fuel related

Check distributor cap for corrosion or shorts between terminals.

Easier to Jack it up, pull the wheel off and remove black plastic fender liner and the plugs are staring you in the face.

9 times out of 10 those clips that hold it on break. Didn't want to mess with that but I agree once it's off its way easier
