Miles seems like an awesome dude. You can tell he’s super passionate about food and wine and just wants to show his friends a really good time. It’s almost like he’s trying to educate them and make them understand where he gets his passion from without being forceful or pretentious about it

That fish dish with all that sweet... I don't know about that one.. but I would try it .. I believe you should try stuff at least once, that way you can say for sure if you liked it or not..

I like this episode just because Chef Miles brings his friends that are OUTSIDE of the food/restaurant industry. In most of the episodes the guest chef totes around other chefs or those in the business--friends and sometimes it feels a little forced and a bit fake when they interact.
Munchies/Vice should just hire a couple of the past best host to go around the country and do chefs night out. A lot of these damn chefs are boring and annoying, that last Chicago mexican carnita spot owner was the best by far.
Am I the only one that is getting annoyed about how formulaic this show is? It's the ending that really gets to me. After going to a bunch of bars and/or restaurants they come back to their own restaurant where, mysteriously it seems, all of their employees just LOVE to hang out... when it's closed... on their own time... voluntarily. Hey guys, what do you wanna do this weekend?!?!? I know!!! Let go hang out with the boss!!!
I dunno, some people actually like their jobs/managers. I'm sure many of these restaurants are open late anyway. Also, I'm sure they're getting paid and you get to be on "TV," I don't see the problem.
Tactful this is exactly right... Feels like everyone is expecting fireworks from every episode. It's just chefs going out to eat at places that they cherish with people they cherish. If anything, this is a nice way to find some new restaurants to try via whatever places are recommended in the video. Those are the true gems imo.
I'll say right off the bat this was not one of my favorite episodes. I definitely prefer to watch a chef that is a little rough around the edges who shows the viewer authentic, low-brow, delicious food. However, I must say I do not think that this guy deserves to take the heat that he is taking. I think he was being genuine, not pretentious, in his commentary. From my perspective, it seems like he chooses to think of food more in terms of art, focusing on creativity in addition to just flavor. Paintings are creative and please the eye. Music is creative and pleases the ear. Why can't food be unique, out of the box, and follow the same guidelines as other mediums of art? It is just another perspective, and I don't think you can fault him for it.
Derek Goldstein he probably wouldn't get as much hate if the actor friend and his wife weren't so annoying. Honestly, I hated the actor friend the most. boner talk and constant screaming like "JURRASIC PARK RFERENCEdhdhdggd!!!" He was like tumblr personified. It was horrible. He'd still get hate though, this is TH-cam wannabe tough guy central.

If the video was made to make the viewers hate the people featured . good job .You did just that .You should have stuck that cringy opening , THAT THEY ASKED TO BE CUT , at the end after the viewers got to know them. look at the comments . other people hate it . im sure that guy hates it . Was this made entirely out of B-Roll footage ? nice job ! I guess the footage of people who liked the food just went missing in editing.
