I’ve worked in a couple of kitchen in my life time, and let me tell ya, chefs can party, like ripping up the town party. We used to bar hop almost every Friday, we close at 10pm, and have to show up @930 the next day for 11am opening. I honestly can’t recall what happened most of those nights, but the ones I do remember, boy, was it the best time of my life. It was truly sad I had to leave the industry for financial reasons
Same but then I became overweight and had a drug addiction. I still work as a cook but gave up the drugs and drinking and started hitting the gym. While my coworkers are out getting wasted I clock out and go home to my wife and kids. Still some of the best times of my life though.
Hey I’ve got a food series called breaking bread and am looking for a partner to make content, I want someone who is looking to tell the story behind people and their food. Would any of you be interested? I have some episodes in production, if this sounds right for you happy to chat and create something special
It wasn't though. This guy is not from Hackney. Everything about it is fake middle class bullshit. I grew up 15 mins from hackney, I know this is gentrified fake bullshit.
Lot's of drinking. Lot's of fun. Lot's of food, delicious son. Definitely one of the better episodes. Thank you Munchies. Please keep sharing these talented videos. Blessings ChefMike

"Hi, we're cool young people whose lives are even better than you imagined, and we're nice enough that you can't even resent us" I speak from envy, what a life!
Justt for any non-Londoners seeing this, don't get any ideas. This is NOT how Londoners live. Even for the uber cool crowd - this is not ordinary. You can't walk out of your house on a whim, drop into a really nice restaurant, then drop into a gig. That is not ordinary. That would take out around £150 out of your pockets - and anyone that cool doesn't earn that much money.
I think Vice was like shit this is a fuckin good edit, and then tossed in more footage, cos you never usually see the prep of the return meal. good shit man Missy is touchy when drunk 0_0
The English have mastered the drinking culture to the point where we can get shit faced without saying 'woo' and making a big deal out of it . Yanks need to grow up
RedRedMCmusic ignoring the fact that "burn" is a lazy outdated stereotype, it's fine we can take it we'll get treated for that burn with our free healthcare

I stayed in an Air BNB apartment in the units just above there! Shame I spent too much time at The Dolphin and not enough here. Great kebab spot on the corner just south of Rita's though.

I love how this guy had a little US wordage about him, having lived there. But great episode overall because they were great, genuine people, all subjective patriotism aside lol.

@@lyricalstyles You definitely can't keep that up past a certain age
@@TheButterMinecart1 yeah I started to feel like a loser as I got older lol no judgements towards anyone else though thats just me
This is like a great socialising simulator while I'm stuck in lockdown
This is one of the most realistic, down to earth groups of ppl I've seen on Munchies so far. I love it.

chef's night out with that butcher shop, those boys need to have their own ep.
"Made me feel some type of way" fucking yes
Rita's going strong after all these years is the best fairytale story ever!
The best episode from Chef's Night out. A lot of the time I don't enjoy them a great deal, but this was an awesome ep.
This was by far the least pretentious episode in this series.
Sarcasm?
Magnetic Vortex I’m fully aware of this. Wankers
Quite the contrary. Not sure if you are being sarcastic though.
are you guys kidding me? this was actually a solid chef's night out. Remember the goddamn momofuku milk bar episode? that was a terrible one.
...now i have to watch the momofuku milk bar episode
chocho12321 ahahah true..horrible..they are noisy AF

Easily the best episode of Season 5
13:18
"Fuck Rita's..."
This just looks like a perfect life to me.
A chefs life is like playing Russian roulette.
Log hard hot physical hours but you sleep well at night
See man driving a german whip blacked out windows leaning back. Great episode.
Young John best yet
Probably the best Chef's Night Out ep ever.
Best episode ever. Everyone drunk at the end, the van packed and live rock music. The unpretentious episodes are usually the best.
Agreed
Best episodes of this are the ones that have hosts that are real drunks
So good, loved the look of the food, people, drinks, and good times.
best episode. florence welch and fka twigs in the bar like no big deal. if i ever find myself in the uk, i must stop by here.
one of the best chefs night out ive seen
Probably my favourite one yet . What a bunch of beauties
Great episode, they seem like a genuine crew
This was awesome!! All that food looked and definitely sure tasted amazing!
Best fucking Chef's Night Out yet. Blatantly checking Rita's next trip to LDN.
"Yeah it smells like wine" yessir, that's how I be testin' my wine
"fuck ritas" lmaoanybody else see that at 13:00 ?
Love those small nice places, nice food, nice drinks and nice people👌

Missy is the most delicious looking dish in Rita’s and everything looks delicious

Please explain what do you mean
@@boredoflife8703 FKA Twigs is a musician, she was on the far right at 2:32.

Just watching this made me feel hungover
My favourite series from Munchies!
top 3 cno videos. These people are actually really likable
Dunno why, but I keep coming back to this episode!)
Pretty funny, really looking forward to visit Mangal 1 and Hills & Szrok!
Munchies hasn't released any content of this calibre in years
How has no one noticed FKA Twigs in the montage of drunk kids at the original bar??
Can you imagine having to clean up their mess at Tonkotsu after their bombs hahaha.
13:06 most rock n roll dude ever XD
This and the other one in paris were the best.

how about y'all master dental hygiene?
its easy to generalize huh
Lmfaoo the dental hygiene one!! Burn!
RedRedMCmusic ignoring the fact that "burn" is a lazy outdated stereotype, it's fine we can take it we'll get treated for that burn with our free healthcare
Anyone who says you "need to grow up" really doesn't know what life's about. Fun. If you're not enjoying yourself, what's the point?
Did you miss the part when they were splashing alcohol everywhere and destroying glasses?
Rita's earned my vote. See y'all in a bit and I'll bring some mezcal. Cheers!
that guy had to cook food all hammered at the end hahaha
i gotta say this is the best Chef's Night Out by far. just regular fucking people getting a fucking buzz on and eating some good food.
Is that Twigs on the right at 2:32 ?!
Friends: are you drunk?
Me: Noooooo .... 9:34
i wish munchies would get back to a regular chefs night out again. You can do it guys, the updates are so far and few now

Is that FKA twigs on the right there at 2:31 ?

4:57 Good god, he's *adorable* 😖😖🤭🤗🥰
I love how they always act like they're hungover. 😅😅
really good episode
Dope episode. Always better to see good chefs on the piss having fun than some clowns in bow ties speaking in superlatives.
This one is great
Still love this episode!
@9:32 she grabs the cigarette the wrong way LOL
