I met Richard and Aaron about 12 years ago when they were still renting from Phipps. My brother and I spend most of the time talking to Aaron who was by far the more engaging and interested of the two. Richard was only interested in what Richard was doing but he did pause long enough for a hand shake and a few pictures. Aaron talked with my brother and I for around 45 minutes until the production pulled him away to go get a 59 Apache from KC's shop. I think he'd have talked to us all day if he had the time.
Arrogance and insatiable need for power for greed was their downfall. Never cared for dick Rawlings. Arron was the only reason I watched and the Chrissy.

Richard's too much of an alcoholic. he focuses too much on pushing Miller beer, his Tequila. Also, Richard was doing his builds in a compressed time frame. Dennis more about buying cars, and restoration, but Dennis doesn't really do quick builds like Richard and that adds a tremendous about of stress. That's part of the reason. Sue had the nickname of "Dragon lady" and I half expected to see Ricky boy build a car and put that name on it. She has the fire in her when someone starts their bull, best believe. Her and Christie are probably better off not being in the spotlight though, because the spotlight will change someone. Those two don't need to change. I'm glad that Christie is doing well after her cancer bout. That's what got my dad. Aaron made the show. @Gunnar Thompson Yes it was but you can build yourself some pretty bad ass stuff when the money isn't coming out of your pocket, how funny I'm pretty sure he paid Richard back but right after that he decides to leave and then the next show he had Sucked .
I met both Richard and Dennis in Vegas when they was selling the gas monkey tequila. Went and brought a bottle with my mate, Richard signed it and quick photo. Dennis had a photo and was nice enough to ask where were from, talked to us about cars. Richard was like a hi - bye type of meeting. Similar to Mike brewer and Ed china. Mike wasn’t bothered about fans when we wanted to talk about the cars, but Ed was happy to chat but Mike cut him off and said they had to go.
Aaron was my favourite by a mile. But also really liked most of the regulars, including Casey, Mike, Charles and Jason. Also had a huge crush on Christie - great to hear she's doing well now. 🥰 Richard always came across as being too in love with himself and a ball-buster with his crew. A bit of a pantomime villain. How much of that was real and how much an act for the cameras? Liked the banter between him and Dennis anyhow.
I liked Richard Rawlings and the Fast and Loud Show. I know Aaron left but the show should continue on. It was my favorite car show. Some of the competition shows are okay, but personality sells a show too!
In the Netherlands they keep repeating these programs, right now Kaufman is in the shop, so enjoying. Think they are gonna repeat the Ludolfs aswell, hope there’s coming some good tv from discovery, starting to….

Aaron was soooo over rated as a mechanic. He thought every car needed air bags even a Ford GT. I believe I remember Aaron installing an LS engine in a wreaked million dollar Ferrari. Aaron would start a build without knowing what issues would happen when changes were made. Basically he kept getting in over his head. Was his leaving the show bad. Yes, because he was part of the clown show at Gas Monkey. He tried a few shows in his own with zero success. Gas Monkey had a fun run, but ran out if ideals that kept the show popular. I figured when Richard decided to open a restaurant/bar. The end was near with most of gas monkey garage income likely going to the restaurant keeping it afloat. Personally. I miss it.
