Easiest way to wrap Egg Rolls | No Burst Frying | Crunchy Taste Test

This is how I wrap my lumpia (Egg Rolls). It may be insignificant to most but wrapping Lumpia correctly is the secret to a great tasting Lumpia. And with a simple trick that can significantly make your life a bit easier when making lumpia. i don’t use egg yolk or cornstarch to wet the wrapper., just plain warm water.
If you wrap your lumpia correctly you can fry it directly without having to freeze it first . Perfect temp to fry is 350F, you drop it below that temperature and you will see your lumpia will start to unravel, not a good sight and will soak the insides with too much oil.
And never EVER let it sit on a paper towel, this is the worst thing that you will ever do to a freshly fried lumpia hoping to get the oil out, it will make it very soggy..stop doing it. Let it sit on a strainer until it cools down a bit and ready to eat.

Wrapper is too thick cut the wrapper in half into triangle ... then roll and fold use cornstarch and water or egg wash for your lumpia glue
That is how we like our lumpia, thick and crunchy., and i only use water to close mine., no need for egg wash or cornstarch, but thanks tho.
