I like watching the body work happen, the technique, the finished product, amazing stuff to me! I'm a regular here, I watch every one of the videos, sometimes watching parts of them two, or three times. Thanks for the content.
It's fun to watch the 'Stupid Idiot' transform mangy metal into a new fender. With the fuzzballs, it is clear who is master and who is servant! Do the compound curve patch on the fender!
As usual, another impeccable outcome on that fender. I think you know that you are good at metallurgy, and at some sort of idea that you have humility, you express how horrible things are. I get it you want to be humble, but, you should enjoy the fact that there are a TON of people that follow you because of how good you are. You are a character! Everybody here loves your personality and your ability to fix metal with the most minimal tools. Remember, just because you are able to acquire more and better tools, doesn’t mean you’re a “sellout”. Far from it. You Deserve better things. Everyone that watches wants you to have better things. I’m sorry about the long comment, but I wanted you to know how I , and probably a great number of your viewers, feel. Keep it real. KATS are not Kewl 😎
Hey Carter, Trillian says Hello 42 ! I wouldnt call it a Deformity. More like an added ability I can always talk to myself, when we are both together alone. lmao Thanks for the Shout Out Man.
Amazing job. I would have thought it impossible without using your TIG to put in more filler rod, but you worked your magic. Keep up the great work. thanks.
Cant tell you how relieved I was when you said you were going to get the short chopped glass and bondo out to finish the job ...... its the modern way gotta keep the quality level up
I don't care which you work on. I love the videos, please keep them coming. When all done, choose a mid 50's car to do rust repairs if it floats your boat. Be good to watch a pro do good work on a tri-5 chevy.
The mirror finish is a hoot. One way to prove your process. And progress. Whatever you chose to show us next will be fine. Just happy to see your work. Rare to see someone take the time to fix things RIGHT nowadays. Pet the cats for me. I have about a dozen right now with a hidden litter somewhere. lol
I'm a hideous deformed creature--and love your mad skills Kyle... Maybe you could use those skills and free me from this burden I bear. After all Michelangelo made a great work of art from a rejected piece of stone!😆
I like the humour---"There was a weld seam here, but I'm not happy with the job!! My work standard says that if you can't see the weld its a good job. Well done--you do tend to set the bar far higher than most repairers.
Awesome as usual. Joseph and Mary are so excited to see the kids that they are making me play it on a loop. I think I speak for everybody when I say you clearly have to polish the rest of the truck. I had a friend in the early 80's in SoCal that owned a chrome plating business and he chromed the doors and fenders and every other part he could on his Triumph TR3. A week later the cops made him paint it before he could drive it on the road again. Your work blows my mind. Thank you for the video and thank you for your time.
Thank you! I find the more weld I add, the harder it is to finish out, although with a mig weld I wouldn't have much choice other than to add weld or cut it apart and reweld it
It's your chose to do what you want but more and longer videos are great . I like more of the 36 Chevy , i had one at one time and sold it only because i had to many other projects going at the same time and am sorry i did that now . It started out as a big truck and i had found the same year pickup frame for it but never finished it after mounting the body to it . I stopped on it and finished my 34 Standard Chevy and at the same time sold another 34 Master Chevy that i was sorry to let go of . This all happened after i turned 65 and knew i would never have time to do them all . I'm 81 now and not able to do much to my 34 other than take a ride ever so often. So enjoy your car building while you can as there is no reset in time and use what you have wisely .
Stay on those fenders! The right side looks like mine! I was hoping you would say your going to make a patch instead of trying to beat those repairs in to shape. That’s why it’s called a dream truck. It’s always on the back burner. But mine keeps me trying.😂 can’t wait to see you make bondo stick to that polished repair job! Looks awesome sir.👍
You are a metal magician. It’s really sensational. I discoverd you by chance on TH-cam and i watched all the videos you made. You are my best. I want to see your work on all car projects.🤝🏆🤝🤩
I wouldn't have thought that possible without running extra weld along those seams. Superb work. I'd like to see more work on the Chevy fender but it doesn't really matter to me, - watching you work on anything is fine.
Love the 1936 Chevy Truck. I own several and drive one, thanks you inspired me to fix a set of my front fenders, keep the 36 on front burner, geter dun,
Not bad, but you made it so shiny that the bondo is definitely not going to stick. What you need to do now is rough it up a bit with a needle scaler. That way your Bondo and fibreglass will stick OK, then you can sand it to get a good smooth surface for paint. Or… You can just leave it and quietly be a Jedi metal master while the rest of us mere mortals look on in amazement at your skill.
Great to see the '36 make an appearance again, mate. There's something about the face of that beasty with her big shapely fenders, narrowing nose, short windscreen and big eyes that really appeals to me. Love how you buffed the metal up to a chrome-like finish. It would be nice to think that bare metal would stay that way indefinitely - and its also amazing how many imperfections that finish can disguise. Yes, that weld seam was visible via the camera if you know where to look and watch for the deviations, but the overall look of the fender itself where buffed made them seem so insignificant. I was surprised that you didn't need to add any more weld to the seam(s) during the plenishing stage, but the result speaks for itself and a tiny skin of bondo where needed will hide the last 1.4% that would otherwise take an hour or ten to play about with to get to your own high standard of acceptable perfection. Me? From what I see on the video, I'd be more than happy with it as it is....and you should be proud of the work, because I too am a perfectionist by nature! She looks good, mate and I'd love to see more of it.
I'm new to your channel, but I didn't realize work like that could even be done. I feel like the guy in Tombstone: "Have you ever seen anything like that? - - I've never even heard of anything like that." I've been listening to the wrong people all my life. Amazing work.
Amazing work, Kyle. I was thinking you missed a bit, then realised it was a mark on my monitor! Looking forward to the new content, whatever it may be. It would be great to see the 36 coming together. All the best, Mart.
Excellent job, Thanks for sharing your videos Kyle. Anyone who knows bodywork has to know that you are very impressive and talented, hands down or up . Happy Easter
You are to fixing broken fenders as Foresty Forest is to van life and hiking. I am subscribed to both. Yes, work on your truck. As if anything I say matters.
I know that I have joked about you being too tight to buy bondo in the past, but my goodness, your skills are awesome! I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone start with a crumpled crisp (chips) packet and turn it into a mirror before. You are quite good. As to what is next?, you do it and I will watch. Can’t wait.
What you do is amazing. I watch a lot of hot rod builders with a lot repairs on old cars but it seems that nobody makes bent metal better than it was from the factory but you. Great job
I thought I was just watching your channel for entertainment, but you tricked me, and have been educating me as well!!! I was working on my 53 Packard and had a cross member that needed some straightening, and as I lay on the floor looking at it, I thought WWKD?(What Would Kyle Do) So I got my tools and went after the most apparent damage first and low and behold everything started to move back into place! (The very first thing I did when thinking what you would do is I started a fire in the middle of my shop!) 😆
You almost fell into a burning ring of fire. Just avoid those pentagrams of fire. Bad Juju. Dang good work there, sir... as per usual. As for the great debate over chicken truck or 36.. my answer is "yes".

Kyle The Magic Man is BACK! Right on KC, another quality smacky smacky slappy slappy video of metal Majeek. You could smack on an old water heater and I'd watch (is that weird?) but I vote 36. Until next time, cheers.
One of the things I really appreciate is that you show an old guy just how lazy he has become. I am convinced my work is better now, thanks to you.
All your videos are appreciated. I would like to see you tackle the rest of that fender.
I got a good laugh out of that polished bit.
Thanks Steven! I'll try to get some more work done on the fender this week
The work you do is magic! Doesn't matter on wich car you work on.
Thank you!
I like watching the body work happen, the technique, the finished product, amazing stuff to me! I'm a regular here, I watch every one of the videos, sometimes watching parts of them two, or three times. Thanks for the content.

KATS are not Kewl 😎
Thanks, that's very kind of you to say! (other than the cat thing hahaha)
Erm, Kats most certainly ARE kewl.
Hey Carter, Trillian says Hello 42 ! I wouldnt call it a Deformity. More like an added ability I can always talk to myself, when we are both together alone. lmao
Thanks for the Shout Out Man.
Amazing job. I would have thought it impossible without using your TIG to put in more filler rod, but you worked your magic. Keep up the great work. thanks.
Thanks! Yeah it's amazing how workable a tig weld is. I would have had to reweld it if it was mig
Cant tell you how relieved I was when you said you were going to get the short chopped glass and bondo out to finish the job ...... its the modern way gotta keep the quality level up
Haha yup, a couple gallons of that stuff will take care of any problems!
Yep just do what ever you want! I'm just here for the humor, cats and learning how bad I was at fender repair.
Thanks Kenny, the cats make the videos more tolerable haha!
“Bondo? We don’ need no stinking’ Bondo.” Go after that ‘36, please.
It doesn't matter what you work on next, I'll enjoy watching. Thank you.
I don't care which you work on. I love the videos, please keep them coming. When all done, choose a mid 50's car to do rust repairs if it floats your boat. Be good to watch a pro do good work on a tri-5 chevy.
Thanks! I used to have a 56 Chevy a few years ago. I'm not sure if I'll ever own another
The mirror finish is a hoot. One way to prove your process. And progress. Whatever you chose to show us next will be fine. Just happy to see your work. I'm a hideous deformed creature--and love your mad skills Kyle... Maybe you could use those skills and free me from this burden I bear. After all Michelangelo made a great work of art from a rejected piece of stone!😆
I suspect my attempts to restyle people would result in a huge lawsuit haha

More 36 Chevy truck action please .
What an amazing mirror finish on the metal
Awesome as usual. Joseph and Mary are so excited to see the kids that they are making me play it on a loop. I think I speak for everybody when I say you clearly have to polish the rest of the truck. That's cool Lazy Hound! I always wanted to chrome plate a whole car... My friends thought I was crazy!
Haha that's awesome, but I think I'll pass on polishing the whole truck!
Love the metal work on these fenders with a lot of curve, Great work !
I’m counting, it’s not even close! We love how your 36 is coming along. I need a patch video!👍
Really thought you were going to have to put some more weld material in those seams. Incredible work.
Thank you! I find the more weld I add, the harder it is to finish out, although with a mig weld I wouldn't have much choice other than to add weld or cut it apart and reweld it
You should be working concours restorations for millionaires. A perfectionist craftsman with an incredibly dry sense of humor.
I think for if Kyle had such clientele he would loose that concourse sense of humor...
Nahh I'm happy to be fixing cheap junkers, don't need the drama of working for millionaires haha
Great work! More 36 Chevy please. This is artwork
That 36er is pretty sweet! I would love to see more on it, but will happily watch whatever you are performing metal magic on...
Great video. A lot of work, time and energy went into getting the finder looking like it does. You have a great talent for doing this type of repairs.
Thank you!
Yes keep going on the 36 Chevy, you are a really talented guy
That work is incredible. Bring on more of that type of work.
Thanks, I'll try!

One more vote for the 36 Chevy front fender. You do a great service with your videos, Thank you.
Love the 36 Chevy My dad has a 34 Chevy 3 window coupe!
Cool, that's a great looking car!
Amazing work. I would like see more 36 videos. Thank-you
Probably just as well. Once you throw those fenders away it'll be lighter and faster!
Haha yup, I think I'll ditch all the other unnecessary body panels too! Thanks Philip!
I wouldn't have thought that possible without running extra weld along those seams. Superb work. I'd like to see more work on the Chevy fender but it doesn't really matter to me, - watching you work on anything is fine.

Personally, I'm more interested in the 36, however, this is your show, man.

I'm new to your channel, but I didn't realize work like that could even be done. I feel like the guy in Tombstone: "Have you ever seen anything like that? - - I've never even heard of anything like that." I've been listening to the wrong people all my life. Amazing work.
Nice work, I know it takes a lot of years of practice, but you have mastered this. Making it look easy and clean. Thanks
Some more 36 please, not seen much fender repairs action for awhile 👍🏴👍
Would love to see more of the 36 pickup. What a beautiful truck. I would do the fenders black but that's just me.
Absolutely brilliant work!, your skill-set is next level, I’m leaning so much!, Thank you 🇬🇧👍🏾
Oh yeah keep on trucking on the 36. Awesome job again!
Thanks Keith!
36 would be great. Your fabricating skills are great take care and thanks for the update.
I’d like to see 36 drivable, as it’s your personal vehicle you may be able to sustain enthusiasm longer. Good luck anyway, always great videos
It's beyond me why this channel hasn't gone viral. In my opinion you should have at least hundreds of thoudands of subscribers.
Thanks! The world is probably a safer place for as long as my channel remains hidden haha
I would say the 36 , it’s looking good 👍
All green for that truck ! Just like the factory !!!
Yeah I think you're right about the green. Thanks Dean!
Fantastic work. Keep working on the 36.
I'm leaning on the gaurd repair, but if you end up cleaning the bathroom tiles I'm cool with watching that.
Great skill you have there.
Amazing work, Kyle. I was thinking you missed a bit, then realised it was a mark on my monitor! Looking forward to the new content, whatever it may be. It would be great to see the 36 coming together. All the best, Mart.
Thanks Mart! That mark on your monitor was just covering the spot I missed haha
I’d just soon see you stay on the 36. I got an idea polish the whole truck. You can do it!!
Haha I'm not that ambitious, but I'll probably do a little more work on the 36
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next one.
I vote for both....more content please. It's cool to watch it being done.
That's some amazing hammering, although, to be fair, this is probly one of the best fenders you've had on the channel.
Haha yeah it's pretty minty
Nice shop fire to the place warm. Love that 36 grill!
Yeah I like the grille too!
Yes….more 36 action!
Excellent job, Thanks for sharing your videos Kyle. Anyone who knows bodywork has to know that you are very impressive and talented, hands down or up . Happy Easter
Thanks Tom! Happy Easter!
You are to fixing broken fenders as Foresty Forest is to van life and hiking. I am subscribed to both. Yes, work on your truck. As if anything I say matters.
Everything you say matters! Thanks for watching!
You’re act is great, please keep doing what you’re doing!!!
Nice work. Please don’t burn the shop down.
Thanks, I'll try not too
I really like your style of metalworking. Both trucks spark my interest. Keep them coming!!!
Now that you’ve put the hockey gear away for a few months , I suggest keep on with the 36 !!!!!!! Nice work as usual .
Can’t wait.
Thanks David! Hope to have a new video out tomorrow
i would prefer that the Chevy work continue. Very nice work on the fender so far. Thanks.
Thank you! Hope to get more done on the 36 this week!
I for one enjoy the metal shaping you perform and look forward to seeing patch on right front fender.
What you do is amazing. I watch a lot of hot rod builders with a lot repairs on old cars but it seems that nobody makes bent metal better than it was from the factory but you. Great job
Thanks! I'm very much an amateur still. Most of the really talented guys don't post on TH-cam
Maybe some fender skirts, some dummyspotlights , some blue paint , put some red in there,(whoa...it turned purple) head scratch.....
Purple fenders eh? Haha I'll think about it!
Glad to hear you're making progress on the Packard! Fire is definitely an asset during the restoration process.
@@CarterAutoRestyling There is a Cormorant rising out of the ashes! 😉
Really enjoy watching your process so it doesn't matter which car you're working on.
I'd like too see more of he 36 Chevy. The patch looks like it will be ton of work. Thanks for another interesting video.
You almost fell into a burning ring of fire.
Just avoid those pentagrams of fire. Bad Juju.
Dang good work there, sir... as per usual.
As for the great debate over chicken truck or 36.. my answer is "yes".
That's the right answer, Joe!
Yes I would love too see the fender repair on the 36 thanks for asking but go with what you want 😊
When you were videoing the shiny result I was yelling at you for not seeing the very obvious blemish. Turns out it was a bit of food stuck to my screen. Paint the wings red!
Great oldschool body work.. I've only seen work like that in 1960's and older text books..
Thank you!
More 36 Chevy , Please !! Also Thanks for another “Brother “
Kyle. 🙏36 Chevy fenders please👍🏴
I love this 36 project! It’s killer!
That turned out great. Seeing how you make the compound curves for that fender patch will be cool. Keep up the great work!!
Great show! Obviously your standard of what's "good enough" is much higher than mine. If it was me doing it, this would have been a 4 min. video. I vote that you stick with the 36 Chev, I think she's a beauty. As for what engine to use in the 36... There's this new thing (you might not have heard about it) I think it's called a LS swap? There's not much info on the innerweb about it, so you'll kind of be a trail blazer. I'm always looking out for ya. Cheers
Gee, Randahl.. maybe you can do one of those new fangled LS swaps to your speedster.
That would be "interesting" ;)
@@Joe.Doucette aaaaaa....nope :D

I'm not much of a risk taker, so I was thinking of going with something tried and true, like steam power
Keep doing what you're doing and we'll watch! Thanks for your work!
Thanks David!
More superb workmanship. I vote '36 Chevy and painted back to green. Thanks!!
The 36 ,I'm restoring my 36 and both front fender are welded over the wheel. GREAT WORK

Kyle The Magic Man is BACK! Right on KC, another quality smacky smacky slappy slappy video of metal Majeek. You could smack on an old water heater and I'd watch (is that weird?) but I vote 36. Until next time, cheers.
I enjoy your great content and your pyro humor. I say stay on that fender, it needs a patch burned in!
After watching you work, I went and purchased a bullseye pick. Now to learn how to do magic tricks.
I want to see you do the patch on the 36 fender and absolutely destroy it like you always do. Thanks for another video!
I'm so amazed 😍 with your metal work, great work thank you for sharing such videos.
Great job Kyle what ever you do is worth watching 36 is nice truck
Thanks John!
Can’t wait for dream truck custom !!!
