In this 8K wildlife filming BTS episode we find a large pack of wild dogs (painted wolves) near Third Bridge in Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana. We wait for a long time for them to become active, then we film the extremely cute wild dog pups playing, and a flock of pelicans at dawn.

Behind-the-scenes shot on GoPro Hero 9. For the telephoto wildlife shots we used a Canon 200-400mm f4 lens on a Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 12K. Moving shots from the vehicle/boat were shot using a Red Komodo 6K with a Sigma 18-35 f1.8 or a Canon 100mm macro.

I was convinced as a child I'm going to freeze to death. If I'm cold at night I become paralyzed and can't get up to fetch a blanket. Even at almost 50 I keep an extra blanket next to the bed.
