- In this 8K BTS episode, we leave Moremi Game Reserve. We get our Covid tests in Maun and set up our damaged tent in Nxai Pan National Park with a bull elephant a bit too close for comfort. We go on a game drive looking for wildlife, and film a herd of massive elephants on the pan.

Behind-the-scenes shot on GoPro Hero 9. For the telephoto wildlife shots we used a Canon 200-400mm f4 lens on a Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro 12K. Moving shots from the vehicle/boat were shot using a Red Komodo 6K with a Sigma 18-35 f1.8 or a Canon 100mm macro.

Hello Robert. Great video again. Researching for my solo Botswana safari in November and came across your channel. I enjoy the music you selected to accompany the cinematography and do thank Robert for being a good sport. His nodding off on the trail was very entertaining, always is until your the one nodding off on tape. Looking forward to more, Cheers!🍁
Thanks Kevin. Good luck with the planning. Drop me a message if you have any questions
@@MovingPicturesAfrica Thank you Robert. I have Ultimate Routes doing all the planning and bookings for me as I am going into my busy time of year. I am curious of your Timelapse camera that you leave and return to pick it up later. Has any wildlife not messed with it? I would be afraid of a curious animal would be drawn to it and tip it over and breaking it. Thanks again, have good evening.
@@kevinriese2167 okay cool. I use a GoPro for timelapse and nothing has ever touched it. I do try put it a bit out of the way next to a tree or anthill.
That road looked like a spine compressor on the way to the lodge at the beginning of the episode
It's a horrible road, and people drive very fast on it.
Great video, what time of the year did you do the trip?
Thanks Steve. This was late August last year.
Great video and series!
Thank you Jordan
You will reach 100 k subs soon
😁 unlikely, but thank you
