@@rascal0175 I grew up on a farm in Australia where we had ticks. We had about 20 guinea fowl and they kept about 2 - 3 acres completely spotless. They are pretty efficient. You want a few so that they can maintain the property and breed to replace those taken by wild animals. In general they don't get eaten often since the roost in trees.

Helmeted Guinea fowl (the wild one you would likely see in Africa) tend to be more aggressive than the domestic breed which most people have. I believe this is a helmeted Guinea, not 100%.

We USED to have a huge male Guinea and I could not do anything to stop him from attacking me. I hadn't done anything to it before and it just wanted to repeatedly attack me up til one day he jumped on my back to bite my neck, leaving scratches all over my back. SO, long story short, we have one less foul on our property. Gotta do what you gotta do.

@@philomelodia well they are very Gamey... but none the less they do taste really damn good. It's good to mix it up a bit anyway. Eating too much chicken gets boring lol gotta spice it up. We just did like a turkey fry for that big sucker. Seasoned em up, beer batter and all, extra Cumin seasoning and it turned out really good. Was like eating a deep fried turkey but a little more chewy. If you get the chance you should do it. Although Guinness aren't really meat birds anyway.
