This is great. I bought one and am having my shop install it, it's nice to know what all they will be doing. What a great job you did on the installation, the pictures look wonderful.
GRC's rear wiper is very small and at the 18:20 mark, it looks like your rear cam is installed too high, likely 2-3" outside the coverage area of the wiper. During rain, snow or when the windshield is dirty, the wiper won't be able to clean in front of it. Is it really that high?
@maniLNW thanks you for watching. But I do have a longer Wiper blade so it does cover the whole window the one I installed is 13 inches i can probably do a 14 inch but I wanted to keep shorter. Even the 12 inch does cover it. It’s just enough. But I have a longer Wiper plates. I’ll make a video on it soon.
Minute 27:34! How in the world can I remove the left upper side red Viofo logo? I liked the bottom info, but not the upper red logo! How can I remove it?
Tell you the truth I never looked into it. If it’s not into the setting where you can hangs the display of the speed or the time other nav info then it might a watermark that can’t be removed.
I have done many of those install I always run it under the Airbag. I do not want anything to stop the functionality of the airbag. thanks for looking out.
Did you have to start the ignition before the dashcam started? Or do you need to start the dash cam itself. I was hard wiring my viofo a229 pro but theres no power on the unit even everything checks out
Its awesome how in depth this is, I had no idea what I would have to do to install the cam and this is the perfect video. Thank you so much.
Thank you very much I appreciate it.
Thank you for taking the time to do a complete nuts and bolts video of the installation 10 out 10.
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.

I was scared you ran it over the airbags in column A. Good thing someone asked and you said under. 😅. Just lookkng out for you.

Did you run the cables over or under the airbags?
Always under the airbag. I don’t want anything to stop the airbag from functioning properly.

yes on the First Initial Setup you have to do it then set it up. once completed all you have to do is start your car and start to drive.
