- In this video, I tried to Improve the sound on my 2023 GRC Even thoug it has the JBL sound system, I do not like the sound. I wanted something that sounds a little bit better. Better sounding Speakers and defiently need so bass. and louder too. so after trying a few Set of speakers, I settle on the Morell MAXIMO. I like the way thesse speakers sound. The are a lot cleaner sounding. with some good hights. the mids are crips, and they are also louder as well.
I bought the Speakers and all the connectors/ brackets from Crutchfield.

The sound system is the only think I don’t like about my GRC. Any thoughts about using the Beat Sonic Amp? Still looking for reasonable priced option to upgrade the sound system
Tell you the trust I tried to order one. But they have been backed order for a while. Once they are back on stock I will try it. But $280 I’m not so sure about it but I’m willing to try it. I’ll check again this week to see if they have some back in took. Eventually I wanna replaced the amp. Because of some of the settings that are on the radio I do not wanna replaced. I ams look for another good options. The ideal situation would be keep the stock radio . Replaced the amp. Make the read and front speaker full range. Use the dash as mid and the A pillars as tweeters. And add an custom sub in the trunk. This winter I am going to work on the custom box…. So we will see what I can come up with this winter’s.
I have it. It's an improvement but by no means exceptional. From what I've read, the primary pain point of this system is the OEM JBL amp

You can Fit 6.5 in the front but you can also do a 6.75 also.
So the circle brackets comes with the speaker sets? Also did you changed the front ones and are they the same size?
The Speakers Bracket does not come with the Speakers. But when you buy Speakers from Crutchfield the will send you installation equipments. Like the speakers brackets and the Adapters. I hand not. Hangs the Front Yet. But I will change them This year. They are 6.5 up to 6.76 I’ll make a video once I do The Install.

YES I am plus after installing the MINI amp it does make the sound come out even more.

@@JG-mg3if So far I really like it. I still need more base. so once the weather start to get better I am going to Install a Subwoofer/Amp combo. so I am doing research now so see what I will need. Once you do, Let me know what you think?
