You probably don't realise it yet but that little girl is going to remember this moment when she is about 82 and it will bring the same huge grin to her face. Benoit is a legend - there I’ve said it. What a wonderful friend. And what an amazing roof - like a gingerbread house. Lily is sooo happy. The girls will spend many, many happy hours in that house. Be sure Lily locks up when she’s done or she may have some feathered friends roosting in her house.
Amazing birthday present for Lilly!!!! When I was young my mother built us a treehouse and we spent endless hours playing in it, dreaming up adventures. I hope your girls will love it as much as we did ours. ❤❤❤

Now, on to the humour, Benoit made me laugh aloud when he asked if Phillip noticed that he works faster when Phillip is not around. Yes, Benoit, he is suggesting that he did it mostly on his own, but … the “coloured video” says otherwise.
When I was in the Philippines my dad made me a tree fort out of bamboo it was a special memory that I had living in the Philippines with that bamboo tree fort. I'm in my late 40s and I still remember what my dad did for me and your daughter will do for you too as she grows older she will appreciate what the effort you did to make her life fun and full of life.

Just so sweet. I had a small but very high up tree house as a young girl that my father built me. It was a place/clubhouse to dream and cook up ideas with friends.

I was trying to think of how to make a feature that related to the Chateau- the key was such a nice touch. The only other thing I came up with was a flower box below the window.

Hmmm--all that effort into a child's playhouse, the porch, slate roof, charming interior. Be honest, the plan is that when the girls are too old for a playhouse, this will be a cozy get-away cabin for the tired chateau owners. Am I right? Adorable. My neighbors built one in backyard when their girls were young. When the girls were in high-school they tried to tear it down to re landscape the yard. The girls had a fit that it stayed up another 4 years. The girls said they were destroying their childhood memories.
Hope you don't run into the same problem. The girls will make many good lifetime memories there.
