I think they know. You can see that they are very patient waiting for their coffee =)I don't see any rushing or complaining, and who can be mad with her hospitality and her smile 😊?
To be honest, I thought I would swipe this away after watching this for like 30 seconds. But it was just so smooth that I actually finished the video without knowing lol
I work at a Starbucks and I cry inside sometimes when it's a rush and some individuals order about 10 frappucinos for their entire clan. 😩 Plus, we also need to connect with guests. But I would prefer this job any day than an office job.
I just discovered your channel and I am obsessed with it. Its so relaxing and calming to watch. It is addictive. I love how sweet you are to every customer. This does not look like an easy job but you do it with just an ease. I am a teenager and am loving cafe vlog. WOW.
I miss making coffee. The rush and the multitasking is epic for baristas yall. Never underestimate the hands that hold the freshly steam milk and pouring the next milk 😂👌
It's simple just master your area and you need is easy to reach everything me I'm doing also cashiering....did you know adnec in abudhabi...beyond multitasking my job there...you can do it like more than mine....
Unsure if the question is rhetorical, but if not then I think you seem like a great barista. 13/10 would be happy to have a coffee made by you! And thanks for the great content. I have the coffee shop videos playing in the background while I’m at work so it feels like I’m in an actual coffee shop again lol.
Everything looks solid! There is little wasted movement, you are taking advantage of all 3 groups, you have a good milk system for multiple drinks and you are predictively pulling shots based on popular orders and customers you know. There are always micro adjustments that can be made, but really the main thing that would increase efficiency and speed is your fellow barista pulling shots, when they can, so you can focus on milk steaming and final preparations before service.
We love an efficient queen! 👏 It must have taken some time and determination to confidently get into this flow. Loved when you saw that regular and instantly got on with it too 💯
Great job on multitasking. Suggestion, create a small platform for your weighing scale wherein the plastic cup is directly below the coffee grinder. This will eliminate a few seconds in pulling down the plastic cup to weight it. I like your set-up.
Thank you so much for your input! Would you kindly show me a link to a photo of the set up that you described as the small platform for your weighing scale wherein the plastic cup is directly below the coffee grinder? I'd love to know about this more! :)
When I first started working as a barista, the smell of the coffee and the sound of the expresso grinder gave me SO much anxiety, I would hear it in my sleep!! Now, I absolutely love being a barista. I don’t like when customers stare. We have a drive thru store so when I made drinks for drive thru orders, people at that counter will say “I didn’t want whip” and I’d have to explain that the latte isn’t theres it’s for someone else 🙄 but other then that coffee shop work is so relaxing and makes your day go extremely fast
I feel like you can do everything faster if you free-hand your milk steaming in between drinks. Like the steam wand is long enough to stand by itself if you leave the milk pitcher standing on top of the grate. In the meanwhile, you can pour drinks or pull shots. Another tip: you can try milk splitting; steam more milk in a bigger pitcher for two smaller drinks. Remember to milk split properly into warmed pitchers too (because the amount of microfoam and liquid milk needs to be emulsified before pouring! I remember doing all of that to really comparmentalize my time.
Somehow the other steam wand is not as good as the main one, so I don't really trust it, I do use it sometimes, but not that often. And not getting the right temperature or the perfect texture of the milk is my main nightmare as a steamer/pourer, so I have quite a particular way with this kind of thing.. But again, if it's really needed, I do ghost steaming using thermometer. I also do the batch steaming as well and splitting it, but again it's never giving me good results compared if I just steaming it in the smaller jug, so yeah.. It's quite a hard one to master for me, but I'll keep trying, and I hope that I don't need to overwork myself like this all the time, lol..
I suddenly realised how hard my job when I was working at the bar when I had a lot of orders like coffee, juice, and cakes then come together ohhhhhhh it's so to hard to work alone you're not able to go out😏
I like your video. It's only natural that humans make the slightest mistake. But you seem to really enjoy your work. In this video you seem very busy, but your skills are intense and nimble. I'll wait for the next video. Salam dari INDONESIA😊
Actually (for me) many times they do and my response would be meh. I'm way too deep in my orders and coffee people can be scary if they didn't get the exact right order specially the regulars (each one thinks hes the only one and surprised if I forgot what he likes)
Great video, u did great job on your videos! :) Trust me when i say this, you're such a great barista! Definitely produce highly consistent coffees. I love how you always try to improve in any way you can. Keep your high quality and I'll be waiting for your next videos 😉
I missed the multi-tasking factor as Barista in Saudi Arabia. The complex part was dealing with mostly Arab customers wanted to have the coffee right after seconds they'd ordered and never think that this may take minutes to make a good cup of coffee. Yeah cool!
Hello I watch your videos opening up a coffee shop soon.. these videos really help.. Where did you guys get the green dosing cup when it’s grind from the grinder for the espresso?
So cool! I'm trying to open up one as well so these videos are givin me an inside scoop! As for the green dosing cup, she put a link in her bio for it, looks like its off Amazon (: Good luck!

I'm sure they do say thank you, maybe you can't hear it, haha.. But even if they don't say thank you, I don't feel insulted at all.. I'm here to make coffee in which they have paid for, and for that I am thankful.. If they don't feel the same way, then it's fine :)
Cari flow yg kaya gini susah di bekasi, pelangganya masih termindset kopi susu gula aren😂, jadi susah untuk berkembang skill as baristanyaa, Suka bgt liat flow barnyaa😍
If only these customers knew the time and effort that really goes into preparing their perfect beverage :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤔🤔
Bullshit, it's just freaking coffee.

To be honest, I thought I would swipe this away after watching this for like 30 seconds. But it was just so smooth that I actually finished the video without knowing lol
I feel like I never look at the barista while they're making coffee as it's awkward but now I see everyone just stands there and stares haha.
yeah! we (baristas) get all kinds of looks while making coffee! hehehhe

A tour of the equipment you use in the cafe would be nice
While making coffee and customers staring like we really waitin here haha i really feel that awkwardness.

Very relaxing to watch this, like I'm in a coffee shop. But not for the barista! Lots of work :) Appreciate it.
I can relate to this. I run the operations solo everyday. And we have hand brewed coffee on the menu. So multi tasking much haha
