They will find out how big of a mistake they made when they take that cutter guy $140 as his 10% cut amd he asks where's the rest of it that was easily a 3k parcel without the kingstone
The wood one was the best piece. If I made jewlery I would have definatley took it and made something special to be passed down in my family i wouldn't even sell it.
My best is advise is selling is where you make the money. Like another poster said let them make the first offer and learn the art of how to get the price you really want.
Ahhh judging by the buyers reaction to the price I would day with certainty that they should have gotten an appraisal from a friend FIRST. Good for them though, they seemed to be happy...

It's very odd how the most beautiful things in this existence are so freaking hard to get. And don't think the difficulty is the reason for the desirability. These Opals are gorgeous and are all located in hell. Diamonds might be worse. I can go get Aquamarine on the edge of a cliff at 12,000 feet where I live, but there is absolutely nothing in my back yard but dog poop. It's weird. Like someone set it up that way.
They undersold those opals, they are worth alot more than 1400 dollars, they need to get some good advice on pricing and get real money for their efforts.
Your suppose to let them make a offer then you counter it...from what I've seen of other opal hunters you sold those stones for chump change....either you don't know what your doing OR you lowballed that price for the tax people that might be watching the show and cut them out of some tax money on a bigger price you should have gotten.....
Gave it away, she knew they weren't experienced

I was thinking the same thing. Letter drop alone should be worth at least $1,000.
Yes agreed, they way undervalued that parcel.
Nowhere near $3000 for that lot, the crystal had a lot of sand/clay in it.
Great finds and well done on the solar power. I do think those opals sold really cheap, rare opals depand top prices
They undersold those cut and polished rate stones.
She said yes so quick
Brilliant ! what a cool set up well done Guys 👌

wow they really screwed them self's over with that deal
They were happy with their deal and that's all that matters. Some of the color appeared watery, I thought the price was very fair.

Reminds me of the latest season of Yellowstone. Beth realizes that they should be selling the steaks since they’re raising the cows….
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Cheers Guys.❤

I love a video where I learn something
Trying to cash up , nice they have a cutter for the opal 😊
Them hippies are dumb for that, that teardrop was worth more than all of those stones combined. Literally gave it away for free
Is that $1400 for the stones or by krt weight cause it should have been much more then that for stones
We dont sell boulder buy weight. And $1400 was about right for that parcel.
And you are supposed to wash your tailings in case u miss opal

1400 seems very lowball for all those
Poor guy that polished the opals didn’t make much
Blair normally only charges $20 per stone.
❤❤❤
the gem cutter did the worst job of cutting that opal crystals, even my students will cut better than that.

Let the buyer make the offer first.
