Hi, this is Holly. I really like all the new cast but always wonder if Fry Bucket is being recorded in a library where she has to be quiet. Or is she home w a sleeping toddler in the next room. Love her content. Just the audio is low compared to the rest.
I’ve been wondering the same as well! I think she’s just very soft spoken, but it does make it really hard to hear what she’s saying 😅 But if I turn up the volume, everyone else is way too loud 😂
Yes! I was just going to ask the same. I wonder if the editors could regulate the volume in all of the videos, I’ve noticed this issue in others as well.
The Contemporary has premiere location, monorail, and amazing lobby. I agree with those that feel The Incredibles theme was not a good choice. The biggest drawback is that I literally cannot afford it, lol. Even the Garden Wing is out of my price range right now.
Last time we were at WDW, my husband suggested we stay at the Contemporary next trip. He said he'd always wanted to stay there. Until I told him what it cost.
I stayed there years ago as part of my bucket list. It cost $300 per night, a pretty penny back in the day. I can't say it was worth the price, and now it's even less worth it. I also stayed at the Grand Floridian a few years later, again for my bucket list. Greatly disappointed because the room wasn't clean, the pull chain for the fan was broken, and the location was next to where housekeeping gathers - boom - bam - kaflooey. Was going to finish off my list with the Poly when COVID hit. That brought everything to a screeching halt. Bah humbug.
Just watched a review from another TH-camr who stayed at Contemporary. The food they had in the rooms was served on PAPER PLATES! For hundreds of dollars per night, you would think that they would provide real dinnerware.
We used to stay there all the time but like the Polynesian better, the best part about the Contemporary is that you can walk to Magic Kingdom. You just can’t put a price on time and convenience, no monorail, no buses needed. Did I mention no parking?
For me it’s money, if I can afford it, then great. For people that don’t have to check their bank account balance, they will pay whatever price it takes, regardless of the views, etc. But the vast majority will favor a 250.00 or less per night stay at any other resort.
I stayed in one of the new Incredible's rooms with the theme park view on my recent Thanksgiving trip, and we LOVED it! Yes, it was insanely expensive but the views, and the convenience of having a monorail right below your room was so cool. Also, I got all the extra holiday party fireworks shows from my room. I just love that hotel even if it is a hodge podge of themes.
This was on my bucket list, and was so disappointed. I have stayed in the tower, and BLT. I didn't realize it was such a concrete jungle, until we actually spent time there. Now it's on the bottom of my list. I just felt like I was at a conference at any hotel, versus on vacation. Give me Beach Club, Poly, or any other resort that gives me a vacation feel. I'm there to relax!
I like to visit it, but I like to stay at Poly, Bay Lake Tower or Grand Flo over the comtempo......I think the rooms look "cheap" for a deluxe hotel...sort of like Pop Century except you are paying for the convenience of the location.....the pools aren't so great either....but, great to visit and I like the dining and quick service there and the mural.
Emma and Fry Bucket seem very reserved; different from the other outgoing, exuberant All Ears personalities we have come to know. That's fine, but they do need to speak up just a little bit, as their voices come across very quietly on these videos.
Unfortunately, they are refurbing the Garden Wing rooms to the exact same as the tower Incredibles rooms. Contemporary was my favorite resort, but I can’t stand those rooms so it has fallen to my last choice. Honestly, I like the rooms at Pop and All Stars better than the Incredibles room!
I have stayed there and it is my least favorite resort on property, there I said it. If I'm spending that much money and staying at a MK resort, I'm staying at GF. When we started going CR, Poly, Shades of Green (which wasn't military at the time) and the Fort were the only resorts on property so I stayed at Poly a lot, I just didn't like CR that much. Now, I stay at the Epcot resorts.
Her and Emma are the first two that I can remember, I guess Morgan to some extent, that are very reserved. I like it, it brings a different dynamic as everyone else from Quincy to Breedlove to RJ are all very outgoing, a bit loud, and often over the top which is good and absolutely needed. Having a few reserved people brings a bit of balance that I like.
I think she should put her monitor a few feet farther away from her than her mic. If she’s talking to someone as if they’re across the room, I think she would sound just fine. I mentioned on an earlier video that Emma should adjust her light ring. Looks a lot close to where it should be now. Still a bit high still though.
I realize the Incredibles theming is a little off putting for some however since the movie was supposed to mimic 70's style superhero movies I think the theming fits perfectly dahling (:) ) with the 70's style theming of the Contemporary.
@@omnicognatesnr5947 i would agree that it looks cheap but A LOT of 70s decor looked that way. IDK maybe that's what they were going for with the Incredibles overlay??? Just my thoughts
Don't stay at any Disney deluxe resort. The rooms aren't worth the money, and are pretty much a total rip off. I've never stayed at one and thought the outdated room was worth anywhere near what I paid, and I'm not cheap either. Maybe the Animal Kingdom lodge I make an exception for bc I like the animals. Stay at the Ritz, Waldorf, JW Mattiot for actually cheaper and get what you pay for. Who cares the monorail runs through it, so what, I can be at any park from Bonnet Creek in about 6 minutes. Plus like a dozen people have committed suicide at the Contemporary property by jumping off inside and off the roof so it definitely has spirits creepin around. They didn't mention that part.
@@mela1580 For sure. If Disney put as much effort into the rooms as the do the lobbies and grounds of most of the "deluxe" resorts they might be able to justify their insane prices. They're masters of perceived value to the customer, somehow convincing people a $350 room is worth $1000+ .

Ha! I just said myself, why does she talk like her roommate is asleep in the next room?
I’ve been wondering the same as well! I think she’s just very soft spoken, but it does make it really hard to hear what she’s saying 😅

Agree - both Fry Bucket and Emma are wayyyyy too soft spoken, which makes them sound unenthusiastic.
I'm dying to stay at the Contemporary but the Prices r RIDICULOUS!!!
We Love California grill.
I’m staying in September, and I’ve specifically picked it for the interior rooms 😂
I'm with Fry Bucket. Just go to the Contempo to see the Mary Blair mural and enjoy a meal, then skedaddle to a more congenial lodging.
Did Breedlove go back in time. Looks like he got younger. Nothing like a fresh shave and a haircut.
I was thinking the same thing. Sharpened up somehow.

Saaaaaame. I don't know how so many people can afford it. Or can they.......
Last time we were at WDW, my husband suggested we stay at the Contemporary next trip. He said he'd always wanted to stay there. Until I told him what it cost.
I adore Fry Bucket, cause she’s adorable. Lol
I’ve been there when I was a really small baby and I don’t remember anything but I always go to Chef Mickey’s there and it’s amazing
I haven’t stayed there before, BUT it’s on my list of places to go. And you also might have swayed me to stay at the Garden View rooms too 😆

Never have stayed here. Have visited a lot though. MK is not my favorite park, so given that it fit my budget, I would probably stay at Boardwalk.

We stayed here one night in May. It was magical and so easy after a long day in the Magic Kingdom !!
Love the narration as always Chris. Cool to see some new faces too! Great video!!
The Contemporary is a Iconic Disney Hotel !! Period

The contemporary is all about location. If you love MK the most, it’s great.
Unfortunately, they are refurbing the Garden Wing rooms to the exact same as the tower Incredibles rooms.

I LOVE looking at it, especially when The Monorail is coming through..staying there~not so much. I’ll spend my money on the cozier feeling resorts.
Steakhouse 71 was yummy for lunch

It would be cool to stay in the OG Resort with all the places you can eat, shop and yes, love the history but the price....ouchy for my wallet.
Love the new faces and POVs. 😊 another great video everyone!!
Great video!
Sweet
Fry Bucket sounds so much quieter than the rest of the crew...
Which I love!

I actually wasn't talking shy. It's just harder to hear her. I have to turn up the volume for her.
