Thank you for being apart of it! All of you guys are my heroes and I can only hope to be as awesome as you! I also have this as well since I'm obsessed (it's most of the shows from the season) drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MoruSe_zthUh3oNDan0pLqM3ikmd0YIz
I’m a trumpet player toying with auditioning for the bluecoats, I was just wondering what type of trumpet is required. I just recently got a Yamaha 8335 xeno. Would that be the right horn?
@@Dawsonsincedawsonstaken I might be an old head (Bloo 09-10) but you don't use your own horn during the season. Audition on your horn and they supply you the Xeno for the season when contracted. I played my audition on my Bach Strad bitd and everyone I auditioned with did so on their own horn. Show them what you are able to do but most importantly be teachable.
@@DawsonsincedawsonstakenThat horn should be fine for the auditions but if you make the corps you would be using their horns. I believe Bloo uses Xeno trumpets anyways. Good luck!
I can't explain how much I love the slide into the final chord from the trombone soloist at 13:24... gives me chills every single time and this has to be the best sounding version of it.
0:00 ballad hit (45)
4:22 finding and believing (I think)
6:36 brass feature I think
10:19 bump
13:02 closer
humbled to be a part of the cleanest hornline in bluecoats history. thank you for capturing this piece of history 💙

This brought my 17 year old trumpet playing son, to tears. Thanks for absolutely killing it.

I didn't really watch a lot of blue coats during the season but i just discovered the trombone slide into the chord and I cant stop watching it.
Yeah I love how much more audible it was in the lots, but you can definitely still hear it in the show and it hits just as hard
13:02 to the end had me in tears in person. it's the musical personification of falling in love
13:24 is INSANE

The only thing I have ever had goosebumps from every time is the ending of this show. That trombone soloist is having the time of his life!
