I appeared for my Ielts speaking test on 3rd April 2022, the topic on my cue card was 'Describe a person you met recently and why would you like to know more about them'. Pointers for topic were 1. How you met them 2. Where you met them first. 3. Why do you want to know that person better Follow up discussion questions were based on making quality friends, maintaining work life balance, etc as I spoke about my office colleague whom I met recently. During your 2 min full length speaking, the examiner will highlight the points you need to speak on incase you missed them! Hope it helps as a practice topic for everybody who will be appearing for ielts speaking test in the near future.

I took the IELTS exam on 11th January, I did 2 practice tests for reading and listening. for speaking and writing I relied on your videos only. My results were delayed by 4 days, I was told for quality control. I got my results yesterday...Reading 7.5, listening 8.0, Writing 7.0, Speaking 7.5. GUYS I JUST GOT MY IELTS RESULTS! Wrote it on Jan 17, 2022, computer based test Listening 8.5 Reading 8.5 Writing 7.5 Speaking 8.5 Overall band 8.5 And E2IELTS was the only resource I used (the writing and speaking sections) Those live streams and hour long recordings are just amazing. And definitely, please practice writing even if it’s just the two or three times during the live stream. If it’s long, 2X speed for the video, and 1X when practicing. Couldn’t have done it without you guys E2Ielts
@@hrithikam2926 Go through the writing playlist on this channel. For writing task 2 check out the IELTS advantage channel and the sample essays on their site. There are a ton of essays for every different question type on their site. PRACTICE before test day. I made the mistake of not practicing task 2, having complete faith I will somehow ace it without any practice. Believe me, 40 minutes is NOT enough for task 2. I was struggling to complete it in the time frame and I wrote the last word as the bell was going off, barely writing 250 words. Probably the only reason I didn't get an 8 in writing. Don't make the same mistake, practice task 2 and set a timer. For task 1, learn relevant vocabulary from any video or website you can. Words like plateaued, steep decline, dramatic fluctuation etc. have a good impact. However, don't force good vocabulary, write what comes naturally. Use the British council pakistan site for writing mock tests, write your answer and compare it with the model answer they have on their site. Good luck!
@@valeriyapetrova2724 yeah that's a tough one if you aren't already a reader. A tip that might work for you is reading the the first paragraph in its entirety and then read the first two sentence of each subsequent paragraph, get the general idea of each paragraph and make it a point to remember the respective paragraph name (A,B,C/1,2,3 etc.) so you can later come back to it. This is a good trick for people who don't usually finish reading in time. Give it a go it could be a good strategy for you. As for the different kind of questions I'll admit they are hard af at some points it's just simple repetition and practice that gets good bands. Good luck! If you already read books the reading part will be a breeze for you, if not, start right now. Doesn't matter if your test is tomorrow, pick up a book, it WILL help.

Who helps you with your studies? How? Describe a photo from your childhood that you like? Do you like taking photos? How often do you take photos? Would you want to be able to take better photos? P2 Describe a rule that you dislike and want it to be changed? What it was/Why.. P3 Do you think people should get punishments for minor crimes? Crimes like parking in the wrong place. Do you think the governments should be making laws in order to protect (minor citizens?)

My task 2 topic was 'The hardest decision I've made in my life' and just following the PPF strategy I was able to speak without pauses and hesitation. I'm really thankful.
id say the most important thing other than a wide range of vocabulary would be to just be chill and confident, ideas will flow more properly in your mind. thats what i got from this videos and others like it. thank you very much by the way for this fantastic information and all the other awsome videos in this channel theyre really helpful.

I paid for the express+ package. I didn't use it much, already watched most of the videos on TH-cam. I did the course materials on reading and listening. On test day, I watched the videos of speaking and writing in the bathroom while preparing before going to the test. I thought I fumbled the speaking test part two but instead my results were amazeballs. L + R = 9, S + W = 8. overall 8.5. Thanks to all at e2. I also love that I can switch my subscription to a different package. that's really helpful.

28:20 The question was about "how many people" and the answer started with "so, I love..." Wouldn't it be bad coherence? He could've said "I don't know about other people, but personally..." It would transfer the subject to him and make it more coherent. At least, that's what I noticed. Correct me if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks for the video!!!

I had my Speaking test this week. Of all the topics, I’ve had an unusual one. In part 2, my topic was “Describe a situation where you had a disagreement with someone.” OMG. Good thing, I was able to talk for two minutes about the topic, but I struggled in part 3 for the follow up questions. I hope I still get a good score. Haha. Thanks for the tips E2 IELTS Team! 28:20 The question was about "how many people" and the answer started with "so, I love..." Wouldn't it be bad coherence? He could've said "I don't know about other people, but personally..." It would transfer the subject to him and make it more coherent. At least, that's what I noticed.

I had 8.5 in my speaking... and the question was mostly based on using maps...it's advantages and disadvantages.
I watched your videos on speaking, three days to my test. Thank you. I got 7.0 in speaking, 6.5 in reading, 7.5 in listening and 7.0 in writing and an overall of 7.0.
Do really give some time after test to transfer answers?

Exactly actually natives usually use contractions n their pronunciation is quite different from non natives so I thought the same

It's midnight now & i am watching this video with a hope of getting good score on tomorrow's speaking test.
Jay used to speak out answers with different facial expressions and it is no longer boring to learn.

I had my Speaking test this week. Of all the topics, I’ve had an unusual one. In part 2, my topic was “Describe a situation where you had a disagreement with someone.” OMG. Good thing, I was able to talk for two minutes about the topic, but I struggled in part 3 for the follow up questions.
I hope I still get a good score. Haha.
