I m very grateful to u as u listened my request of making range video of XUV 400 el pro.very thanks once again. But the way u did the video in such a detailed way is simple outstanding.no words for it.very thankyou once again
I plan to do this same trip...can you guide if you used AC and ev charging options across different locations. I dont get 3.15 km per percent....with AC, i get max 2.7km
This is what genuine content is all about! Man, you really are a marathon driver. Still remember your BLR - Mum run in the Ford Aspire. Been following u ever since.
Great work Mr.Punia. I watch most of your videos. For people to buy EV's as first and probably only vehicle which 95% of Indians do, next time try to travel with full set of passengers, was AC on full time cost/km as well as toll charges.
Your video is amazing with lots of info on XUV400 but please note, there is no Android Auto / Apple Car Play in XUV400. Also, the Adaptive Guidelines in the Rear Camera View is absent. And there is no news when Mahindra is going to add these features in XUV400.
Congratulations on the great drive & record Punia Sir! Simple fantastic! Great Job! 👍🏼 Few things I need to point: Like most Indian manufacturers M&M & Tata are using pre-dominantly old battery tech which results in lower battery efficiency in the drive & hence less range. Hope with new ACC PLI, more Indian optimised battery packs comes in for greater efficiency & more range. Also I think, within next 5-10 years every 100-200kms we will have fast DC charging Stations. Which will help even more people to confidently to get an EV. And there is a need for at least 50kW of DC charging at Average in India, anything less than that & EV long-range travel & charging time will be not suitable to general public. Also there is need to optimise those DC Chargers they aren't consistent or reliable at times. Also a unified payment gateway or something like that needs to happen. A subscription model or mile point kind of things need to be implemented.
I have Nexon Prime EV, recently have traveled 1500km ( Bangalore to Tulajapur and return from there ) Journey was quite hectic as prime give max 200km for full charge, also charging stations were less .. driving wise Nexon EV is good but charging anxiety will be there always 😢
So I own a XUV 400 and have done about 10k km on it over 7 months with a couple of road trip to Chennai and back. Your time stamp at 9:08 stated you had done 509 km with 139% charge. How did you manage that? When I charge my car 100% all I get it 307km on my range indicator and from there on range only depletes. Sure the regen works to an extent but I am yet to get the full range of 307km even. At best my vehicle gives me around 280 with the Aircon and about 300 without it. Care to share your secret :)
@@abdussamad175 sir, with the price reduction, I would go for the excite version of MGZS at 19.98...its a different level car...but if you are on tight budget, XUV is better than Nexon

Sir Punia. Very goood video! I had a smile when figures came out. Please make a detail video on L mode in XUV400. Please!
This is exactly thr kind of video i was looking for to stick finally on EV cars especially xub 409 EL pro being my favourite 🎉

He drove without AC in his entire journey,at least he should mention that.
I also get 2.85km/1% with AC and without AC 3.15km/1%
Efficiency 👌 👍
Please share how do you plan your charging stoppages? Is there a particular app you used to find charging station or googled?
The golden app is called plug share. It's a database of all chargers with ratings
Excellent video. Did the same route from Munnar to Mumbai in the ZS, however took the night stop at Belgavi
Thanks for watching. Did u also charge at same outlet at Belgaum?

How can you do third fast charging, coz on third fast charge it stops at 100 km range
Was this test on xuv400 with or wothour A/C ????
I could see the rear window glasses are not closedown fully. May be it was driven with Ac off .

How come you got actual range even on fast charging? Any tips please?
Very congratulations 🎉💐👍👏
Thank you, you helped me make a decision. Very detailed review

Excellent way to smash myths around EVs and range anxiety. How much did was the total charging cost for the trip?

75 km/h speed on highway is nothing its very very boring
What is the speed limit...
It's a bad train route. Bus goes faster than train, which should be not the case for a 1000km journey with some ghats
