From the time I was a young girl, I was never taught to have goals, values, dignity, or anything else to make me a whole person. I have been through so much as a woman. I was made to feel bad about feeling good about myself by my own family members. It has taken me years to break that sick, toxic spell. Everyday, I tell my higher power/God how grateful I am for what I have accomplished in life. Thank you Bishop RC Blake.

Many times it starts with an abusive father Thats what happened to me. Was used for house cleaning. Lawn care. Washing and ironing. Cooking. Just so mother could sit on a pedestal and do nothing. So I looked at adulthood the same way. Live to be used. And I was. Over and over. At 62 I’m finally finding worth.

Wow, I was once like this and it’s so true. I found the most peace and happiness within myself and God and people who truly love me.
The black women are not raised to know what a healthy relationship with a man looks like nor raised to have high self esteem or purpose. I found God as a child and none of the leaders would talk to me about men or dating, just don’t fornicate. They always wondered why I rebelled. It was to go figure all this out for myself. Now that I know everything I need to, my purpose has been educating younger generations of women so they don’t have to suffer through trial and error. Shame on the elders for letting us walk around blind or giving toxic information. This has to stop! Each one teach one.

I wish all young women would watch this.
I remember me, as a little girl, asking my grandma: "Granny, am I pretty?". And my grandma said: "Don't be so vain! Don't look into the mirror, or one day you'll see the devil!" Pretty much toxic thing to say to a 5 year old kid. She also taught me, that my worth depends on what others think of me. And that since I am so sad all the time (this "sadness" is C-PTSD), no one will ever like or marry me, because I'm not like her, not fun to be around, and no one wants to be with someone like me,someone who's a burden. I learned that I will be a burden to every man. (Later on I met a narcissistic psychopath, who treated me horribly, because... I believed I should tolerate it to don't be a burden. Luckily I was able to end this nightmare, but still... I am single for years and still afraid of being a burden!). Also, I NEVER met a quality man! Not even once. I am lucky to have a quality female best friend. Thanks to her I learned what is healthy in friendship.
I don't know how to forgive such "lessons". I want to forgive her, I do my best to understand that she was raised in a toxic household herself, but still... .The consequences of her words are like curse in my life. What Pastor Blakes says.... my God. I'm learning what's good, healthy and normal at 42. Better late than never... . But you know, my heart is breaking. My grandma believed she "loved" me. I terrifies me, that she saw no contradiction between "love" and breaking my heart on a regular basis.

Man wrote this, God does not agree, because of women we have lineage. Man only created a big MESS and this Rhetoric, to make women feel less than, because man knows without a women's Power of producing life, man is lost. Man can't ever reproduce. I am going to be 38 in December, all my sisters are married. My mum lives with me and we pray together and she is always praying for a spouse for me, which I appreciate. Sometimes the pressure is real not directly but sometimes through the prayers, I tried to explain to my siblings that I don't want to feel pressured, yet it no one understands me. I am very decent, educated and love the lord. I try to live right and also in abstinence, it feels lonely sometimes, sometimes it feels like I am fighting a battle that is difficult to win, my lifestyle feel old school and sometimes outdated. Bishop it's your teachings that encourages me.
Please can you teach a topic on how Decent ladies can put themselves more out there to meet prospective mates. I avoid online dates coz there are so many low effort men put there not willing to put in the work and court properly. Tonight I feel a bit sad coz my elder sister thinks I am not ready to get married or willing to accept people in my life. Telling me not to waste their prayers.
Ruth don't feel bad you are not alone! 😞 I am 34 and will be 35 in about 6 months. I live at home with my mom again as well, so does my sister and she is in her late 20s. I have tried dating men after my 17 year on and off toxic relationship with a narcissist. You are doing the right thing, by staying with your mom at the. Not dating online, and by listening to RC Blake's and waiting on God. I do eventually want to move back out and get my own apartment at least. I have been to some counseling and it has been noted that I and my sister, as well as my mom are all co-dependent on each other. Not sure if that's your situation with your mother, but it is definitely helpful to speak with someone if you are feeling down. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone with your living situation or lifestyle. I am choosing to walk the walk of celibacy now as well. I do wish Mr. RC would make some videos on situations like ours. Like what we can do to get out and put ourselves in situations to meet potential husband material men..🙏🏾 we will eventually find our Prince, to get me through my lowest moments.. I just keep letting my tears flow 😭 and just saying out loud he's looking for me as well and probably feels the same way I do.

I also lived with my beautiful mom till her passing and I was very kind good person I realized it it not ordained for all In my case my life was meant to be there for my moms health needs I have no regrets other than missing the romantic idea of true love....keep praying and dont rush better to be alone than with the wtong man

I totally understand the feeling as i am going through the same. I was in a relationship from age 24-34 and realized only in the later part that it was unhealthy and narcissistic, and took me a good few years to come out of it. I still have some bad moments where i wonder if i did a mistake by leaving him, but those moments are fading away for sure with time. 2 years ago i made up my mind to own my happiness, did some healing and another man came to my life. He felt everything the first was not, so i felt so lucky but he left in 6 months. I felt used, and that’s when started digging deeper into my myself, and realised my lessons. I came across RC Blakes sir’s videos then and i am so grateful for the wisdom 🙏. I am now trying to operate from queen consciousness and it is not easy. It is a continuous work-in-progress. And meanwhile my parents, siblings and relatives are all praying and subtly keep pressing me to get married, while I crave for their understanding and acceptance the way I am. Recently i decided to put myself out there again, but do feel overwhelmed at times. Hopefully i can own my power and get the strength to continue living a life that I know deep down is right. I am 37 now and trying my best. I feel like i have gone through an ocean of pain already but saying enough is enough. I want to live happily from now. Breaking out of our attachment styles that was indoctrinated in us from our parents, many of us repeat the same dyamics from our parents in relationships.
We end up with partners
who repeat our childhood trauma.

Dependent value is real - society would have us to believe our value is dependent on these variables. Success remorse is real. Our value is innate. I'm in a much better place than I was last year, but still working on me. Recently Divorced from an Abusive sadistic narcissist, I'm back in school this semester and anticipating career and financial break through. God guide me and walk with me on this journey.

Me to, long ago I told him I want to wait till marriage, but saddly we end up together,no kids, now 18 years later we are together but never did go to marriage, he scares comitment he is fearfull avoidant type and God is now exposing everything, so my partner is not yet newborn but I told him he must respect him, me and God, so we are now in celibacy very hard time for us in this 17 years😢🙏

Thank you so Bishop Blake for this teaching. I have so many of your sermons saved, so that I can go back and listen. I believe so much of female brokenness is derived from the lack of self worth and value, EVEN in a relationship or marriage. As with me, no father present, and the scarcity of male role models lead to so much compromise, accepting poor marital and dating behaviors, etc. I finally decided to go into therapy. It was the best investment I ever made. Re-centering myself in God's word, and listening to your teachings, etc., I am loving myself in ways that was not possible years ago. I still have days of regrets, but I have to remember, all things work together for the good of those who are the called according to his purpose."

Thank you so much Bishop Blake. I've been listening to you for a year now and have learned so much. I was stuck in a verbally abusive relationship with a narcissistic psychopath for almost 30 years. I finally walked away three years ago. I was very lonely and depressed throughout the entire marriage but didn't had the strength to walk away. Now I'm single by choice, in a good place in life and very happy with me.
If you commit yourself to the work to you need to do that please God, God will add the things to your life thar you have been deperately pursuing and in search of. There is no such thing as scarcicty ! We operate in ABUNDANCE.

I am really thankful for your spiritual guidance.
Just speaking about out of fear. I have met yesterday a woman on the street searching the location of a doctor, and she told me she is pregnant and her husband the father of the baby hit her in her stomach. I went with her to the doctor, she was all alone.
So I ask you: what can do women do when their husbands turn violent? It’s not the first time I have helped a women who got hit pregnant or left pregnant for another women.
This is my biggest fear: being in love with a man, planning creating an own family, and the men changes his mind during my pregnancy or when the baby is here or little child and just leave because he can’t take responsibility or he turn violent or alcoholism or whatever. I know and heard so much. That’s why women are in their masculine energy, because we need to protect ourselves..

Im turning 21 this year, and while i really really appreciate everyone who's understood their worth now through you, im just glad i found you this soon in life. Though I've been working on such things since i was 17, and you are contributing a lot to this journey, and basically I'm just grateful i found you this soon rather than in my 50s or 60s.
Although i really appreciate everyone here and there's no age to learn such things, it's a bliss that we did, rather than dying with scarcity mindset!
