I am grateful for my time alone. I am enjoying my own company. I was married for 31 years, and I have been divorced for 3 years. I didn’t think I could do it. This summer I went to Greece. It allowed me to see life totally different. I am embracing this time until God moves me into a relationship. 😊

While alone...write your book, read self improvement books, get in the best shape mentally/emotionally/physically, go see people you haven't seen in a while, take yourself to dinner and to a movie...live your BEST life! If you live your BEST life while you are alone, you will be more inclined to live your BEST life with your mate.

My husband of 22 years left me when I was going through breast cancer treatment. A few years later, I married an abusive narcissist who tracked me via gps, strangulated me, drug me down cement stairs when I tried to leave…no man again ever. I’ve been through therapy to heal and understand my part. But, in my mind, I have no other option than to enjoy being alone.

Great words of wisdom; I am to myself, my season of solitude!! Divorced since 2001, I have learned to focus on me, my immediate family and my dearest friends. I enjoy walking in faith, each and every day!! I am 70 years old and I still have goals and things to do on a daily basis. I love makeup, wigs and different hair styles, smelling good and looking cute! Four years ago I bought my house by myself and I still work part-time. My favorite thing to do is cooking and creating different recipes!! I thank God for showing me the way. Life is good and I no longer fear what's ahead; faith is the way!!!

I am also 70 and I love being to and with myself. It is truly the most fulfilling part of my life aside from when I had my son. God has truly blessed me as I stepped out in faith to be in partnership with him .
I'm in solitude, both my parents are passed. No friends or family around, have to deal with a toxic individual daily. When alone with out loving support it's very hard. But I'm trying.

I wish more men of God had this understanding. I've been alone about 7 years now and am mocked and called a lesbian or it's said I have a man living with me. I always let it be known that God, my Father keeps my record. I know that this comes from carnal people and pray for them in Jesus name. Glory to God, I love being to myself. 49 and single for 6 years now. Working on self and in solitude. I have let go of everything that does not serve my higher self and man is it a powerful feeling. Be patient and don't let anyone make you feel fear of being alone. I am finding the beauty in being alone and rediscoving what I really need in a partner. ❤

I don't know why but I finally had an epiphany. When 2 people are happily walking in their purpose, it allows them to be everything they need to be to and for each other without even trying. Because they are truly happy!

I was in the best place in my life physically and spiritually in my early twenties. The man that I met and dated during that time was a narcissist who I spent the next four years trying to escape. This is why I don’t believe “you attract who you are”
Or “be your best self and you’ll attract that” actually you could attract the opposite and just get taken advantage of and be left with less than you came in with😒
As I always tell my soon to be ex husband after 32 years of marriage: the key to your happiness is in your hands not mines
I hardly learned to respect myself take time for me, leave the house for 1 night by myself go to restaurant spa movie by myself
Go to bed if I feel tired and stop being a slave to the entire household

I feel so good alone. It’s a rediscovery of my real self… I do boxing classes, yoga, Pilates… I do the gym. I go out with my daughter. I pursue things I deeply desire to experience. I let go and realized my own error, my choices and self worth.

I'm going on year 4 of being alone. No dates or anything. I focus on my job, school and family.
I was in an abusive Marriage. I wished for these moments of loneliness while going through that. The ability and freedom to go and get coffee without checking in. The ability to stop at target without asking for permission.
Those who are listening to you don't have a problem with your "long talking" Pastor...we love and appreciate you and all that God is saying to us through you. This message is confirmation for me that I'm right where I should be as a single and content woman; I just want to be closer and closer to God and to follow his directions for my life. I started listening to you about two years ago. Back then, I was in a relationship that I shouldn't be in but thank God for using you and this platform: that relationship is no longer and I'm just enjoying me and God and the work he's leading me to do. Thank you and Lisa so very much for all that you do...its changing lives for God's glory and for the spiritual health and wealth of those who are applying your teaching...not to mention, the lives that we will positively affect, starting with those nearest to us...we're breaking the cycle of broken families when our children can have Godly examples to emulate. I’m a 41, divorce, mom of Two and I am learning to truly enjoy Solitude in Christ. I’m learning so much. It’s extremely peaceful. The moment I truly surrendered to Christ, he finally got me to this place now where he always wanted me to be. He’s preparing me for something great, and Solitude is teaching me to fully Trust him. When you get to experience spending time with God, the Holy Spirit overwhelms you in such a warming, loving, caring way that if he takes it up 1 notch, you will burst. Solitude prepares you for Christ’s Showers of Blessing!!! 🙏🏽🔥
Just praise the Lord for keeping you away from toxic relationships while He sets you in solitude. See it as a protection and not as an isolation.

Solitude; "It doesn't mean you're BY yourself; it means you're TO yourself." This is GOOD, Bishop, and very relatable.
I'm also an 'extrovert' by necessity; very active in my church interacting with others in several capacities. However, I am an 'introvert' by nature having chosen to be single for many years until my Boaz found me.
During the long period I had the pleasure of growing myself, I learned to wait on the Lord, love on and educate myself in becoming the best version of myself, and to be content in whatever state life presents itself to ME.
My mind is healthy and beautiful. This is who I am...a 'Love Goddess' within my own mind.
I attracted my Boaz being what became 'The Natural ME' having 'rediscovered my inner strength in my season of solitude.'

Pastor. I’ve listened to you for years and never so much as commented on a single video. So here goes:
I’ve been in my marriage for 21 1/2 years. When I turned 40 I decided to introspect for a year. After the year was over I decided what my calling truly was.
1. I built community centers which offers free services for children and families.
2. I created a black chamber of commerce.
3. I went into the prisons and retrieved young black boys and redirected their lives.
4. I’ve been recognized by congress and the White House for my achievements.
The entire time I was in an abusive marriage. 7 years later I decided to leave my marriage and file for divorce. There is no elevation without separation🙏🏽

I have been in solitude mode most of the year and I dont know how much more self love and discovery there is. I pray God gives me patience and diligence to gracefully embrace this season as long as it needs.

I'm an introvert as well. I can sit indoors by myself for days, I have to force myself to get out and go to the store, try to interact with others. My job, I have to be an extrovert, I have a very taxing job, people pull from you that's probably why I enjoy my solitude.
I absolutely cherish my peace and solitude. I’ve been a widow for over 10 years and in this time I have grown emotionally and spiritually. I’ve gotten reacquainted with me, the bright side and the shadow side. I have improved my financial forecast, I work out regularly and I just really genuinely enjoy my own company!!! I am so grateful for this season in my life. I look forward and work toward greater expansion, higher spiritual ascension and deeper connections with The Most High, my Self, people, nature and the Universe all around me during this gift of solitude💖

I’ve been in solitude for two years now & being an introvert I find it peaceful although I am waiting for GOD to deliver my husband.
I’ve grown so much by blocking everyone out. It’s given me focus and so many ideas for self sustainability since i chose to detach from people.

Going through a divorce after a 17 year emotionally and narcissistic abusive marriage. I feel like I’ve been alone this whole time; I’ve mastered it. Needing grace to be alone to heal and not cave to the temptation to relieve the loneliness.
I have much more peace when I'm in solitude. People can really drain you.
