Arrowhead & Snakehead Fishing Tips: The Tide, Lures, and Evening Fishing on the Chesapeake

- Before the hydrilla grows in, Arrowhead can be some of the most productive Snakehead structure in the water. In this video, I show you how I fish it, pass on some tips, and then show you my day on the water.

Nice Thank You, smoked my first Snakehead yesterday mild wood called Buttonwood. I said smoked, not a cold smoke but offset indirect grill and smoke. 155 deg pull is to long borderline being really dry still great next time I think I'm pulling at 140 to 145 deg. Thanks for the videos
I have to try smoking my next one. Just got a grill with smoker. Did ribs with it but not snakehead. Not yet 😏

i ride the struggle bus a lot in the beginning of june. thats when i see them pairing up the most
It was very interesting to me this year because I began seeing them pairing up and hearing reports of the pairing in the beginning and middle of May. However, right now I’m still seeing some very good pre-spawn bites in a few different locations.
All that being said, most of my ride on the struggle bus was because I put myself there with some very poor decisions and very bad hookset mechanics 😂
Arrowheads have also become one of my favorites to fish, especially on the outgoing when they’re taking their time moving out.

If I lived closer, I probably wouldn’t fish too many other areas very often 😏
I feel like I can only sitefish snakeheads using topwater. Anytime I use chatter baits or spinnerbaits and throw them wherever I have no luck
I’ve had my best luck sight fishing them with topwater too, but I’d also try some weightless or lightly weighted, weedless swimbaits. They’ve also done well for me.
Sir ji only one problem r see in ur fishing, u cant show the lure after and before catching the fish , why r u hide ur lure
