Can you please do a video on T cells research and this illness (or any virus/post v-ax care) and the best handling of it if you have P.O.T.S or feel you are getting an autonomic dysfunction reaction? Anything extra that may need to be done because of the P.O.T.S. or so you can prevent autonomic dysfunction reasctions? I felt like bone broth, lots of garlic, and nutritional yeast needed to be added to my treatment plan. Along with D, K2, zinc, lots of C, and turmeric ginger tea, stevia electrolyte drink, and Melatonin at night. Should Cal, Mag. D. also be taken at night while ill or skip it during that time? I took it, but wondered if I took the vitamins with the wrong combination. I was so thankful to own these things before I got ill and I know I will likely get ill with this again and again, as will most outside a miracle v-ax-ed or not. Also, when should those things be taken and what is the right combo(fats, D, and K2, right? but Cal later?)?
It also seems my friend is now also getting P.O.T.S. can you explain this? Thankfully, I was able to help her, so she won't pass out and get hurt, she is one of the nurses. Many of the nurses seem to have the P.O.T.S. heart and passing out issues now, more than reg. population, is that stress? They act like I used to, BEFORE I learned about nightly nutritional yeast, stevia electrolyte drink, and seaweed chips. I know you have to be careful how you talk due to people picking and choosing what science is allowed and what doctors and scientists get to speak and what, so wrong. This is also happening from our medical college and most scientists and doctors are okay with being controlled and told what to push without question and no spoken concerns or questions allowed. It's shocking! I truly feel it can only be spiritual, because it's not science or logical. Although some are starting to be less..? Controlled? Less silent about concerns? They seem less willing to be bullied or made to bully those with reasonable and expressed concerns. Maybe because many have also had the illness, understand it better, and fear it less. I don't claim to know, I hopefully am allowed to still ask questions and seek the truth. What is scary to me is how that was not allowed locally in our medical college, that's just a fact. The vitamins I took while ill were also not part of treatment given. I am so thankful I got to stay home even at the peak of Delt... with oxygen because, I knew what the hospital would be like. I saw doctor prescribed drugs and encouraged vitamins and movement denied in hospital for others as out of "policy" in favor of days of dehydration while drugged not to move as they were told end of life care was the only way they could see family again; I would have happily died in my home over that. Some are starting to question if much of what happened was really best or even okay. Back to my question, is there any new research on P.O.T.S. and this. I got more ill than anyone I knew with it in my age group, or even decades older, but I have P.O.T.S. I work daily to deal with.
Please look into topical melatonin and if we Can we use 10mg oral melatonin drops for hair? The melatonin hair products are so expensive so can we use oral drops?
Yh an answer to everything anytime I feel sick I come on TH-cam I type my symptom then add Dr Berg at the end Use his recommended supplements then within a few days I start to feel better.
OMG!!!! Where have you been all my life! This video was right on time!!! I have the BEST subscribers...they recommend your channel to me and I have been binge watch ever since. Such valuable information! THANK YOU!!!!
@sistawithrealhair I saw your story on your channel a while back maybe 2 years and sadly I was going through my own struggles with hairloss as well. I felt extremely sad because you have thee most beautiful hair I've ever seen on a black woman and I wanted hair like yours. Are you having any success with Dr. Bergs suggestions or anything else?
My Alopecia Areata that progressed to Universalis is going into remission on keto-carnivore. I am SO stoked and excited. My body is slowly healing, teensy fair hairs appearing. I can be patient, well sort of, I really really want to be able to go to the hairdressers again instead of ordering plastic hair wigs. And all my body aches and pains have disappeared - all that inflammation is clearing up. My knees - I was having the horrors of maybe facing knee surgery in the coming years they were bugging me so much but now that pain is gone! And my back and lower back. The only reason I know I have multi level arthritis in my spine is from x-rays a few years ago. I don't have any pain now from being keto-carnivore less than two months!
Not many of Dr Bergs videos that don't apply to me, but thankfully I have no alopecia. I still watched because Dr Berg is so knowledgeable and a wonderful teacher. I'm sure this will help a lot of people.
Saw Palmetto and especially Stinging Nettle Root significantly helped in reducing my DHT, it's within normal levels, however if not taken every/every other day, dht levels rise once more, so it is not a permanent solution. I found that Alkaline water can keep my DHT down as long as i drink up to a liter of it a day, I don't have to take saw palmetto/nettle root at all, the PH value of water that i buy is 8.8, I also supplemented magnesium in big amounts.
I had the number 5 according to your video, I have recovered 90% of my hair. Recovered my eyebrows fully. I was using Mustered oil, rosemary oil, used garlic paste on a fresh shaved head. Used vitamin D straight for 6 months. I can't believe myself what I have recovered. I would 100% encourage you guys to try these. It will take time but do we have a choice? I would say go for it. Never give up

So many types of hairloss rebellions and insurgencies!! The best remedies for alopecia (any type): 1. Rosemary oil 2. Probiotics 3. Zinc 4. Vitamin D 5. Infrared treatment 6. Fasting 7. Reduce stress Thank you Dr Berg!! 🐱👍🏿
I was with so many doctors, none could help me. Everyone said it's because of iron deficiency. Unfortunately, the doctors in Germany are not so far in knowledge. Thank you very much, Dr. Berg I learn so much in your videos. Thank you very much!
Tried wigs and hair pieces and got sick of them many years ago. I shaved my head at the beginning of 2008 and haven’t looked back since. I know that’s not the solution for everyone, but it works for me. Everyone has to find what makes them comfortable.
I was losing hair - my hair was brittle - took biotin, hair suppliments, even collegan but it was ZINC that really helped - I must have been been low in zinc. It was the game changer for me. After taking zinc my hair was no longer brittle and breaking off - I will always have fine hair but now my hair feels thicker and fuller and it was all due to zinc. Thanks for being very thorough Dr. Berg.
Hi Dr. Berg, thank you for all your posts. They are helping me to improve my health a lot. I have to give you a little history to find out what had caused my Alopecia, I was 35 years old when I had to escape from Iran to Pakistan with 2 young children without my husband, due to my belief in Bahai faith. That was very frightening and stressful. 2 years later in Australia, I had to have a hysterectomy, which only one over was left. Finding a job while learning English and trying to pretend everything was good so my kids don't suffer was very hard for me. I used to cry a lot away from my children. About 6 or 7 months after my surgery, I noticed there was a round spot behind my ears without hair, and gradually, I got more spots, and they merged. Now, I only have a hair line left. Aldo, I am now 67 years old , I am very upset and embarrassed about it. Is there anything that can help me, or is it too late? Kind regards, Legha ( lia)

I couldn't help myself from crying when you said, a great loss could be the cause of Alopecia. This confirmed what I suspected happened to my daughter who was forced to alienate her father by her "mother". Thanks to You and all this education you delightfully share with us I have managed to resurrect my health, my ptsd, my serious sleeping problems, overweight and much more. Still there is food allergy. I am planning fasting again. Your educational videos have so much knowledge compared to what the local dealer of "drugs" throws at people. For a couple of years I have learne more from You Dr Berg than from "healthcare" in my whole life and I have reached an age of 66. Very greatful for your compassion for human health and our well being. You are a true hero.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
sir, i have suffered the same tragedy with my daughter...my ex wife damaged our relationship and im still trying to fix things. i sincerely hope you have reconnected with your daughter. good luck
@@graysonmichael8335 Thanks for your reply! My daughter is stuck with the diagnose & alopecia comming from nowhere. That is her response from years ago when we had some contact so there's no awareness of what has happened to her, show no happiness for her dad or how much she missed me, the stress, the forced lojalty, the amount of hate, blame she had to adopt to be accepted. It's a horrow show worthy a Hitchcock movie to be a victim from PA. It has taken me decades to restore my health to at least decent level. Dr. Berg's videos has been a lifesaving education. Suffering from ptsd, I've learnt fasting, lost 35 kg in a couple of years. Managed to throw away bp-, arythmia-meds. I,m very glad to be alive today and to tell how authorities mishandle their tasks and the law. Still hoping to reconnect. 🙏
Doctor ! i was diagnosed with alopecia areata universalis when i was 4 years old. This video shed quite a bit of light on the condition that I never knew. Thank you ! 🙏
I went to my dermatologist today, he told me that I have Alopecia Areta and Alopecia Barbae, I'm grateful for your knowledge about this autoimmune condition, I will follow the remedies given by my doctor as well as the guidance given by you in this video. Thank you sir.
Thank you for taking the time to discuss this topic which most don't speak about, hear about or know about. This started in my son when he was in grade school. It started with his eyebrows and we never thought anything of it, while under his long hair there were patches missing with areas of baldness that we didn't know about until a barber mentioned he may have a scalp fungus. Looking into it with a dermatologist, we were told there wasn't very much out there for children because most studies were about adults. He received topical steroid treatment on and off for a couple years and eventually injection of steroids throughout the scalp. He's still dealing with it, now it's eye lashes and he just finished highschool. We're seeing a dermatologist again for the first time since before the lockdowns. We were told of new treatments, so hopefully it works along with your tips we are grateful for.
Hair loss caused by stress is known as telogen effluvium. This type of hair loss is temporary and not related to immune or genetic factors. Usually, telogen effluvium is caused by physical or mental stress, such as severe illness, surgery, childbirth, emotionally stressful events, extreme diets, and medications.👍👏
I just want to add I have had AA since I was 4, every year 1-3 spots occurred. Around age 21 I read articles about the links between gluten intolerance and alopecial, I stopped gluten for 5 years and never once had my hair fall out. Then I met my husband who loves all things gluten and because I was never formally diagnosed with Coeliac or Gluten Intolerance I started eating it on a regular basis and my hair started falling out very soon after. I continued eating gluten for a year and my hair continued to fall out. Then I stopped and haven't eaten any ever since and now haven't had a bald spot for 7 years. There is some sort of relationship between my AA and ceasing gluten consumption. So as a non costly alternative wanted to let others know just in case it's the case for them!
I got food poisoning when I was a kid, which caused SIBO, which caused leaky gut, which caused food sensitivities, which caused autoimmunity and alopecia for the better part of my life. There’s always a chain of events. I didn’t know the cause of my alopecia for many many years.
Dr how do I get a consultation with you my hair on the hairline has thinned and now I'm balding I remember it started happening when I had a tight hairstyle in my youth my hair scalp was itching and felt like it was in fire in the summer times and I can still feel hair on hairline but there too tiny to notice . Please help
@@jteja0114 I had to go backwards, starting with the alopecia. Took me 14 years to figure out all the puzzle pieces. A year ago my stomach was even more bloated than usual, I was avoiding all my intolerance foods so I didn’t understand why. I got a SIBO test and learned about the SIBO. I’m still finding stuff out after that comment - issues with some of my digestive organs, for who knows how long.. I also have the MTHFR gene and was an alcoholic for a bit so I have reason to believe I’m B1 deficient, which is a MAJOR cause of SIBO that basically nobody knows about. So now, I’m starting at the top and letting the chain resolve itself. I’m supplementing with B1 and taking care of my digestive organs. Rather than fighting the symptoms with steroid shots and getting nowhere. The way I’m doing it will prevent relapses of alopecia.
You're not alone. I'm dealing with the same issue. Seeing an integrative dr to deal with gut issues was my starting point. I'm using clove and rosemary spritz in a bottle to stimulate hair growth.
@@y.a.4464 how are you doing now? i have treated my sibo for two years and my hair still isn’t filling back in. i really thought it would get better as I’m feeling better.
Thank you Dr. Berg for your insight, info and solutions! Stress has always been a precursor for me especially during my late years in high school! Once the stress is managed, alopecia areata disappears. I am now in my 60's and once again, alopecia is ravaging my full head of healthy thick hair!
You should look into Olumiant if you’re willing to go on prescription. New medication specifically for alopecia areata, which has worked wonders for many. Either way, I hope everything goes well for you and that your hair heals!
Suffered significant Alpopecia Areata during my teens when at school and the occasional patch some 50 years later. After about a year with no improvement, my mother noticed a goitre in my neck and I was subsequently diagnosed with an over-active thyroid gland. Seemingly, these 'co-incidences' can happen, but anyone who suffers Alopecia might want to consider having a thyroid function test just in case so as to rule it out. When my hair regrew again after the thyroid function balanced-out with medication, it grew just like babies hair, super soft and so much so that people I knew would like to stroke my head! As to the occasional later patch, I rather put that down to stress.
Agree on the stress factor. That's the period I lost most of my hair. Taking anything cool n having on what u got to do will minimise your stress. I was worried of the AA patches all over my head n was wearing caps to hide it. I was told the relevant scars cannot be corrected. Now I maintain full shaved hair n feel much relaxed.
Hey Dr. Berg. Thank you so much for the videos. You helped me out so much with my health. I just watched your video on Estrogen Dominance, loved it. Can you make another video explaining more about fibroids? Thank you and keep the videos coming😊
This was good. My hairline started receding very slowly when I was 19, and I am convinced it stopped altogether at certain points. However, at 32 it finally looked weird enough that I decided to do something about it. I've been looking into different solutions, and this was very helpful.
Look into learning about medication treatment instead. The channel Haircafe has lots of good info and guidance. I am 46 and balding (started at 30) and my only regret was not getting on finasteride early on. This natural remedies have some merit but rarely work on stopping, much less reversing, hairloss. Their efficacy is almost negligible. Spend some time researching on science based approaches.
The only things that have really worked are minoxidil, rosemary oil, and biotin. I switched from minoxidil to rosemary oil (topical) because the minoxidil gave me flakes the size of my thumbnails, but it did work though. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the rosemary is working similarly, although not quite as fast or robustly yet.
I had a personal experience of treating alopecia in the chin area as a result of anxiety and tension, by rubbing the affected area with a slightly rough cloth, then applying a cotton to the rubbed area with drops of apple cider vinegar, and then rubbing it with a cotton pad containing drops of olive oil and repeating this from one week to two weeks daily..
Hey Dr. Berg, I know you don't recommend them a whole ton as part of a keto program, but I think it would be interesting if you did a video on the 10 healthiest fruits in terms of nutrition, properties, and glycemic index.
As a person who have suffered from eyebrow loss for more than 7 years the remedies you counted are all valuable but I would put primary emphasis on FASTING. Body has a natural capability to heal itself if you don't overload it with the excessive amount of food especially unhealthy junk food and keep yourself out of the stress. Hence fasting is the secret button that you should hit to reset whenever things go wrong with it. I recommend 40 days of fasting with the rule of having your breakfast just before the day and dinner after the sun goes down, this would give 15-18 hours of break for the body needed. Another fasting method is water fasting, but before jump into this make your research properly and get your body ready for it with some intermittent fasting excercises. Include all the necessary vitamins and minerals counted above, fermented foods as a fast breaking meal. You will completely heal yourself.
Dr. Berg you have been looking extremely great (healthy) lately. For example your skin is glowing and looks much firmer. Over the course of a few months you look 10 years younger. And this is no flattery, just an observation that seeks to find an answer, possibly leading to a personal immitation. Could you please share with us any recent changes in your health and diet? Thank you so much. 🙂
That’s a really helpful video thank you. I lost my hair for 7 years (physical and mental exhaustion led to dark night of the soul!) Self care helped tremendously as it allowed me to reconnect with my emotions and my physical body. One thing that I think was a game changer for me was eating sprouted seeds which contain plant hormones. X🙏
I have Alopecia for like 6 months now, first in my beard, now it start growing back white hair with Some natural colour spots. Now in my hairline showed 2 small spots up so I hope it recovers. Thank you for this video.
Thank you so much!!! I have had alopecia areata since so many years. It started when I was only 34. But it really went wild after my house burnt down, when I was 38. I have autoimmune diseases (Neurodermitis, Fibromyalgia) and also suffer from complex PTSD. The latter doesn't let me sleep since so many years. Now, that I am in therapy, I can sleep about 6 times 3 to 5 hours per week , but for years I most often only had 8 hours of sleep per week. This must have of course consequences on the immune system. Besides, I have too little vitamin D in my blood, even though I take 1.000 iE per week. It was only 4 ng/ml, now it is still only 12 ng/ml. I will rise my vitamin D intake now. Also my B vitamins are extremely low. And as I learned only recently, I have begnine tumors in my brain, one of them is named Hypophosenadenom in German. The problem I have with dermatologists since I was 38 is, that they immediately and without doing any diagnostics say, I have a usual hormone change due to climacterium, even though I still have my period, now aged 58. I never took the pill and all women in my family went through climacterium with over 50, some even had babies in my age.

Hi, appreciate you could answer these questions: Q1: Is "rosemarry oil" same as "rosemary essential oil" which you were mentioning in Remedy 1? Or the latter need to be diluted before rubbing on the scalp? Q2: if need dilution, shall dilute with water or carrier oil? What are the ratios? Q3: Rubbing rosemarry oil (or any type of oil) on the SCALP won't it block the pores and lead to more hair loss? Thanks!
Had COVID in August. Hair started falling out in January. I didn't know this was a side effect of COVID until reading comments here. However my symptoms were also similar to Hashimotos . Need to get diagnosed. I just don't know why I'm losing my hair.
My husband and I lost the majority of our hair approximately 2 months after COVID and have been using home remedies to promote hair growth as well as making sure we take our vitamins regularly. We have used a mixture of almond oil and rosemary oil and apply it onto our scalp before bed at least twice a week and it is definitely helping. We have also been adding Viviscal pills to our daily intake. We see improvements and are staying positive. I hope you find something that works with your body. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto years ago. Mine was connected to BII symptoms and after removal of the implants the diagnosis was no longer showing lab work. medical labwork. Look up BII if you happen to have any implants of any kind in your body.
Miss Mary my wife had hair thinning several years ago, and last year about 4 months after having covid my hair thinned a bit. We both have very thick hair. Some of mine was traction related. Brushing too hard and too tight a pony tail. I dont even believe in nutritional products for the most part, but we both have benefitted from a German nutritional available on Amazon called Pantogar. My wife was put on it by her OBGYN when we were living in Costa Rica a few years ago. Cant say it w help everyone, but my hair is back nice and strong two months into the Pantogar BUT also a drastic decrease in stress that I had make happen.
For regrowth of hair, one should abstain from tea as it contains tannins. You could try massaging your scalp with beef tallow, then rinsing it next morning.
How do you know that you have this symptom ? When I look back like you recommend, the only thing I can think about and worry me the most is my medications. I’m talking heart meds and a few pain meds. I’ve been on them for about 10 yrs know and I will be on them for life.
My hair growth has been amazing. One more thing I would add to this list is pray to God who is only good. Pray against the harm of those who mean you harm and forgive and love on them.

I developed alopecia and other weird conditions after a bought of COVID…. Had very high fever for 54 hours. I’m happy to report that my organs all checked out OK and came through unscathed and I never had trouble breathing. But now that’s all over and I have this hair thing….small potatoes compared to other possible enduring things, but still is very devastating.
I have frontal fibrosing alopecia and it has been quite devastating for me. My dermatologist told me my hair will NOT grow back and prescribed a bunch of antibiotics as well as advised I can take steroid shots on the scalp to slow down the process. I refused the steroid shots and didn’t want the antibiotics. I am happy for this information I will try them

Please do not take 10,000-30,000 IUs of vitamin D for weeks/months on in unless you are low in vitamin D. Also, keep in mind high doses should not be taken for a prolonged period of time because too much vitamin D can cause severe problems. *Consult with your doctor on dosage.
I'm a very big fan of your videos doctor. As someone who has been fighting with male pattern boldness and talking to thousands of men with MPB on the forums since the age of 18 I have to say that all but 1 remedies mentioned in this video are extremely weak for fighting DHT. What works: Finasteride - the best for fighting MPB although has some bad side effects for 20% of users. Rogaine/minoxidil (mostly useful for the crown area Microneedling with minoxidil Vitamin D - most people are vitamin d deficient. Vitamin D is needed to code hormones Biotin 2000 ius/day most people cannot get enough biotin from their daily food intake. Ketokonezole in shampoo- very weak dht blocker but might as well use it if you're going to shower anyways. Anything that reduced stress The following have very little if any effect: Laser light therapy (laser caps) Stinging knettle root Saw palmetto Any topical oil
I will agree that any oil in the hair has very little affect on Alopecia if at all, but there is so much research and even people that I know that use Laser Light Therapy for Alopecia. It does work for a big portion of people to at least some degree. The key with any Treatment for Alopecia is to start it early, obviously if you have almost no hair in an area Laser Light Therapy wont do anything but that goes for Finasteride and Minoxidil as well. I took Fin for a year and it did absolutely nothing but slow my hair loss down a bit but I was already at a Norwood 3. For me I have tried a lot, Minoxidil, Fin, Microneedling, vitamins, Ketokonezole Shampoo. Nothing worked for me for regrowing hair, only slowed it down a bit, but it wasn't enough to where it mattered. I gave up and now I am at a Norwood 4 without Vertex loss. My Hair loss has slowed down significantly naturally. My only options now would be a hair transplant, although I have retrograde alopecia so it probably wouldn't last as long or just get a very expensive Hair System. For those that don't have any options left, I hope that someday within my lifespan someone can find a more effective treatment or even a cure.
I had 5 and 6 at the same time. Started noticing the beard. Then later at the hairdresser she noticed an area in the back of my head. Took about a year from having the full effect of the alopecia, to hair beginning to come back in those areas. I took a lot of vitamins and minerals (including some of Dr. Bergs), CBD oil capsules, used oils that should be mixed and massaged into the scalp (eventually I bought some bottles of a product named Hairspeed). Had to use products to camouflage it. It was a nightmare. Then I also got another autoimmune disease which required a steroid cream. About the time when I started using that cream, was when hairs were starting to grow back. The hairs that started growing back, came in as thin white "fairy" hairs for a while. Then later the areas came back with normal hairs, but with white hairs mixed in. Now years laters, I still have the white hairs appearing. What triggered it? I was definitely stressed at work for a long period. Also it was in the beginning of covid lockdown. And I definitely had too much sugar and carbs.
It could be lack of melanin due to too low copper and silica levels in blood. Grass-fed red meat, beef liver, cayenne pepper, horsetail herbs, bamboo extracts for silica are the best. Search "carnivore aurelius" and "jacobslink remedies", these are creators that tells more about it
With me it started with a full year of ibs that turned into PSC. I lost 2/3 of my curly hair and had no clue who to turn to. Decades later I visited a dermatologist in Switzerland who diagnosed alopecia androgenic and gave me minoxidil tonic 5% one time daily without the propyl alcohol in it but based on glycerol. That helped. With alcohol i got huge itching and couldn tolerate it. Before i stepped into a derm office i did try peppermint oil with a carrier oil which helped but it was a huge effort with my long hair as it required daily washing (drying out my hair even more). I also use supplements like D3 and zink but can't say it does much for my hair.
I had alopecia which I fixed by chance. Every time I tried to be extra healthy and exercised I increased my consumption of runny eggs (undercooked) which in turn made my Alopecia worse. I stumbled across an article where it mentioned that undercooked eggs causes biotin deficiency. I stopped eating raw eggs completely and it never came back. This is obviously anecdotal and I am not a physician, but hopefully this might help someone somewhere if they have not tried this.

I just discovered today that I have alopecia areata. It’s devastating. Can someone with personal experience guide me please? Did you guys ever get your hair back?
I got diagnosed with Lichen Planopilaris is the specific name given to lichen planus on the scalp that causes permanent scarring alopecia with inflammation around affected hair follicles. Its at my temples and no matter what I cant get the hair to come back. Ive even tried a derma roller thats supposed to bring blood to the area to heal and kick start the folicles. But nothing after trying for years. I noticed this happened after my father passed away which is 6 years ago now. Ive tried a lot of different things you have on your list, and nothing

Zinc was my remedy, I used to loose alot any time I brushed or washed my hair, I was taking a multivitamin and changed my diet IF 20:4 and upped my vitamin D and it didnt stop shedding till I started taking 50mg a day tablet, Thanks to Dr Berg.
I am 34, i inherited male pattern alopecia from my paternal grandfather, i started noticing change in my hair/thinning around 2015, when I was 28. Although I never used Finasteride, I did use Minoxidil, Castor Oil, Rosemary oil, some other oils. I've been also massaging my scalp for over a year now. It has all together slowed my alopecia so far, although i still haven't dealt with causes of my daily stress. I'm doing a lots of cardio (swimming and walking), and some bodyweight exercises. I hope I'll try other things from your list, including eliminating social media use like Facebook and dealing with my mom's tumor treatment that is going well so far and some other things. I am also back to Minoxidil. So yes, I do belive these things work altogether. I don't expect my hair to be what it once was when I was 16, but not seeing (much of ) your scalp under bright light is achievable goal, I hope.

I had staph and was stuck on antibiotics for 6months because I kept getting outbreaks. I notice my hair loss during that time. I’ve used these remedies and medication and gotten most of my hair back.
Dr. Berg, what do you think about dermorolling the scalp for hair loss? I've done it and it seems to help, but when I don't keep it up my hair falls out. I'm afraid over time the dermorolling could cause permanent scare tissue on the scalp.
Well, as you can see in my profile picture, I had an awesome flow. That picture was six months ago, and now I have bald spots all over my scalp, my beard, and my arms and legs. I will be trying majority of the recommended relievers mentioned in this video, and will report back in a few months! I have other issues such as food allergies and eczema, so I reckon this truly is a gut issue.

I saw your story on your channel a while back maybe 2 years and sadly I was going through my own struggles with hairloss as well.
Fantastic! Keep it up!
Any updates on the alopecia areata?

Not many of Dr Bergs videos that don't apply to me, but thankfully I have no alopecia. I still watched because Dr Berg is so knowledgeable and a wonderful teacher. I'm sure this will help a lot of people.
Well i lost 60% hair. Thanks to DHT

How did you figure all of this out?

Spend some time researching on science based approaches.
did your hair grow back with any of these solutions?
The symptomatology you described is uncommon for alopecia areata, but resembles androgenetic alopecia. Different causes, different treatments.
And it worked?

He is my go to for EVERYTHING concerning my health!
Love you Dr. Berg. Get so many good advice on your channel❤️I lose a bit of hair when I'm stressed.

Thank you, I noticed earlier today that my head looks bald on top at the back but hubby said it’s just thinning. I’m black and over 30 (60). In my 40s I did have completely bald patches that went in a circle around my crown, doctor gave me steroid cream, I refused the injections. I’ll up my vitamin D.
Goodness gracious 11 types! So much hair loss omg! I thought only thyroid problems were the cause. Thanks so much doc for ideas to fix it 👍
This guy is the best Dr ever! He has the best knowledge
Rosemary helped me in a a few weeks. I shaved my head bald and as the hair grew back the individual strands got thicker.
What brand of rosemary oil?
@@lancer717 the brand is "maple holistics" on amazon. I dilute it with coconut oil from the baking section in walmart. You'll need to heat up the coconut oil to mix it because it's in a wax like state until it gets hot. I find rosmary oil has a slight burn if it's not diluted.
@@METALADIX much appreciated
Hi, appreciate you could answer these questions:
Q1: Is "rosemarry oil" same as "rosemary essential oil" which you were mentioning in Remedy 1? Or the latter need to be diluted before rubbing on the scalp?
Q2: if need dilution, shall dilute with water or carrier oil? What are the ratios?
Q3: Rubbing rosemarry oil (or any type of oil) on the SCALP won't it block the pores and lead to more hair loss?
Thanks!
Had COVID in August. Hair started falling out in January. I didn't know this was a side effect of COVID until reading comments here. However my symptoms were also similar to Hashimotos . Need to get diagnosed. I just don't know why I'm losing my hair.
Definitely. But make sure your vitamin d, b complex and zinc levels are optimized first.
Have you checked your vitamin d level? And his videos on vitamin d absorption.
Convid/flu.. Zinc, D3, Vit C, quercetin. If zinc deficient you may have lost sense of smell too.
For regrowth of hair, one should abstain from tea as it contains tannins. You could try massaging your scalp with beef tallow, then rinsing it next morning.
Just making a timeline for myself....
7 Remedies:
1. Rosemary

Thanks,dr Berg.Would you please also make a video, about alopecia from Lichen planus illness??
I'm so happy that I found your channel, I've been learning so much now this topic is very important for me,I always had beautiful long natural curly hair, but of course I didn't like it so I started straightening and dying it black 😢 now I've noticed since last year my hair has bald spots and thinning,my husband keeps thinking it's psoriasis which can't be, I have psoriasis a lot worse in my scalp, sorry for ranting.
Dr berg is such a blessing so happy I discovered this channel
I developed alopecia and other weird conditions after a bought of COVID…. Had very high fever for 54 hours. I’m happy to report that my organs all checked out OK and came through unscathed and I never had trouble breathing. But now that’s all over and I have this hair thing….small potatoes compared to other possible enduring things, but still is very devastating.
Probiotic< Vitamin D and fasting but what if you have kidney issues will these affect you differntly
fasting reduces load on the kidneys!
This was amazing, as a professional Cosmetologist I learned a lot to better assist me with client recommendation.🙏🏽

I have the beard one.
It just started all of a sudden and thats it. Now where the hair fell out there is only grey hair growing but not as thick as before.
What I did was started vaping for fun, but stopped due to this happening. I think it might be vaping related.

Please do not take 10,000-30,000 IUs of vitamin D for weeks/months on in unless you are low in vitamin D. Also, keep in mind high doses should not be taken for a prolonged period of time because too much vitamin D can cause severe problems. *Consult with your doctor on dosage.
Can you do a video on people that have had a gastric sleeve and how to get the proper nutrients? Please because I've also lost a lot of hair!
I'm a very big fan of your videos doctor. As someone who has been fighting with male pattern boldness and talking to thousands of men with MPB on the forums since the age of 18 I have to say that all but 1 remedies mentioned in this video are extremely weak for fighting DHT.
What works:
Finasteride - the best for fighting MPB although has some bad side effects for 20% of users.
Rogaine/minoxidil (mostly useful for the crown area
Microneedling with minoxidil
Vitamin D - most people are vitamin d deficient. Vitamin D is needed to code hormones
Biotin 2000 ius/day most people cannot get enough biotin from their daily food intake.
Ketokonezole in shampoo- very weak dht blocker but might as well use it if you're going to shower anyways.
Anything that reduced stress
The following have very little if any effect:
Laser light therapy (laser caps)
Stinging knettle root
Saw palmetto
Any topical oil
Sir, please make a video about vitiligo. I have been suffering from many years
I had 5 and 6 at the same time.
Very interesting! I may read some conflicting articles but that is interesting. Thanks for sharing
Yes the whites should be cooked as this is where the nutrient blocking biotin is. The yolks though provide much more nutrients when raw.

Any remedies for foliculitis decalvans? I have been struggling for 7 year now.

Which oil Do you use
Real knowledge no complicated way to explain
You mentioned taking 20-30,000 IU. I’m currently taking a supplement measured in mcg. I’m taking 100mcg. How does this compare to your suggestion?
4.000 IU
I had staph and was stuck on antibiotics for 6months because I kept getting outbreaks. I notice my hair loss during that time. I’ve used these remedies and medication and gotten most of my hair back.
Dr. Berg, what do you think about dermorolling the scalp for hair loss? I've done it and it seems to help, but when I don't keep it up my hair falls out. I'm afraid over time the dermorolling could cause permanent scare tissue on the scalp.
Hi try scalp messages and inverting your head twice a day it works god bless
Well, as you can see in my profile picture, I had an awesome flow. That picture was six months ago, and now I have bald spots all over my scalp, my beard, and my arms and legs. I will be trying majority of the recommended relievers mentioned in this video, and will report back in a few months! Unfortunately noone has answer to that.
