    Especially for those of us who cannot afford to see a professional for mental health struggles, people like you and the ASMR community itself are such an invaluable new part of society. Thank you.

    Thank you for tackling the words straight-on, and not substituting "virus" for something else. It's not Voldemort, it's a real thing. This is really APPRECIATED. This was really comforting, caring, and soothing.
    Also thanks for doing the research on ASMR. It's so necessary.

    I am a teenager who, like many, has suffered from poor mental health for my entire life. Without the means to get real therapy, my cripplingly low self-esteem and spiraling negative thoughts have gotten me into a lot of trouble... which only creates more horrible memories. I use your videos as a source of comfort... your sleep hypnoses are some of the best ASMR content I've encountered... but I do think these role plays are very valuable because I learn a lot. Encountering real psychology allows me to realize that I am more than my poor mental health renders me to be, that there is method and reason behind my crazy inner world. Thank you for being such a force of good.

    I found this at the right time, I go back to school on campus tomorrow and I am dreading it, I just don't want to go, I just need a break, I wish I could have a couple weeks to myself, where I can focus on becoming relaxed, because the stressful lifestyle is not it.

    Thank you! You give us wonderful healing amidst the incomprehensible madness that unravels by the day. A simple drawing to visualize the thought mechanism that grips us & you show us that we need not let it shape our behavior, but we still have control over our actions which can feed back to our thoughts. Truly, thank you for the gift of your wisdom, training and grace.

    Thank you Emma. I found this video particularly powerful and effective. I think your videos are truly having a positive effect on my “thought-feeling-behaviour” cycle. I agree, staying present & grateful, and being kind to yourself through various means, however big or small, can really be worthwhile. It does take practice, so be patient with yourself. “The future is not real” statement a bit of an “aha” moment as well. Blessings for all you do. 🙏

    I was taught that what you put into the universe, the universe returns it back. For example, you put out negativity then bad things happen and vice versa. Even thinking bad or good turns into positive or negative reactions from the universe.

  • @belu97belu
    @belu97belu 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    20:22 " I LIVE IN THE PRESENT, NOT THE FUTURE. If you think about it, the future isn't real. It only exists in our imagination, the only thing that is real is what is happening right now. So we had a choice: do we live in an imagined world, a fantansy world or in the real world?"
    Thank you so much, i needed to hear that. I am always on my head and it is not a nice place. It's hard for me to face my reality and i am often thinking about all the bad things that can happen in the future or the bad things that happened in the past. It is hard for me to love my self all the time because I often think about my mistakes and the things i hate about my self. Some days I feel like I am a dark cloud and I feel really sad and lonely, other days I can't feel nothing at all and some days I feel good (it is weird, what a thing to be human). I am trying to be more positive, I am listening to positive affirmations in youtube and they are helping me but some days are more difficult than others, change is difficult. But I want to keep on trying, every day is a battle and I won so many.
    Sorry for my english, it is not my first language and thank you for reading it all.

    8:49 - But nobody has ever been in the "exact" same situation as anybody else. We all have unique experiences that cause us to behave in different ways. Due to our environments being so different (parents, siblings, schools, friends, good and bad past experiences, and so on) I think it is incorrect to assert that the "Event - - - - - > Feelings" scenario would result in us all having the same feelings.
