I am glad you enjoyed the finale. I was amazed with what they did and the music really got to me.
Morai is a symbol that she is where she needs to be. An embodiment of the sister which is Ahsoka.
There is a gap between the father and the daughter. My take is that this is because of someone that is jealous of the daughter, aka Abeloth or the mother, the embodiment of chaos. There is no reason for the night sisters to be running from the Mortis Gods, but Abeloth is worth running from.
I feel the season as a whole was amazing! And they did what every show should do, they built on what they will do for next season. The sad part is that Ray passed.... I do not know who else could do that role but obviously they will need to recast.
Thank you for all of your passion and drive in doing this. Was great to be on this journey with someone who absolutely loves Star Wars!

EZRA'S HOME YES YES YES ❤!! Absolutely LOVED this amazing season one ending episode and the season as a whole, definitely a 10/10!!! My favorite parts were definitely everytime Sabine and Ezra were together(favorite characters for sure❤) and especially seeing Sabine finally being able to connect with the force after spending the whole season trying, so she could help the people she cares about the most and herself too lol. Super excited to see how much further along in her training she'll be when we see her and Ahsoka again!!! It was pretty insane seeing Baylan standing on the statue arm of the father, can't wait to see what happens, I'm sooo intrigued, lol! Awesome reaction as always Laney and may the force be with you always ❤

Sabine "helping out" at the gate - one learns by doing. :) On another topic, I saw on Star Wars Theory's video that Anakin's destiny in the Mortis arc, according to the Father at least, was to replace him (the Father). He just wasn't destined to do that during his lifetime.
i think that makes a lot of sense! anakin fulfilled the chosen one prophecy and now is fulfilling the prophecy of his roll of the father!

If there's a second season, much of it will probably explore up this other galaxy. Apparently, the 'force' began the cycle of light vs dark on Peridea. It'll be interesting to see how things play out given Baylan's objective, Ahsoka's link to the light, and the presently unknown power which resides there.

Now I'm almost certain that Abeloth is calling Beylan.
Abeloth, the Bringer of Chaos, a symbol of death, and the Mother of Mortis.
She was imprisoned by the Gods of Mortis.
The planet itself is a literal symbol of death. Dead Purgills, fallen civilization of witches, and all the races we've encountered are nomadic.
The Nightsisters are afraid of something and according to Beylan and Shin, they are running away. Additionally, this "thing" during the Empire era also called Palpatine.
Beylan clearly cared for Shin, but in episode 7, he separates from her, even though he knows there could be a confrontation between her and Ahsoka.
Was Beylan afraid that this power might be dangerous for Shin? Or did he simply want Shin to go her own way?
Statues of the Gods of Mortis. Abeloth is considered false light. The Father points, but next to the Father, there is only the Son. There is no Daughter. These statues have existed for thousands of years, and I don't believe the statue of the Daughter was destroyed because the Daughter passed her life force to Ahsoka. This suggests to me that Beylan thinks he's going towards the light, but in practice, he's heading into darkness.
The entire story is based on Norse mythology. For example, Thrawn is an example of Loki, who is supposed to return with an army of the dead on his ship made from the nails before Ragnarok. Skoll is the wolf meant to devour the sun.
And the father of Skoll is the wolf Fenrir, who is meant to spread chaos and death during Ragnarok, even killing Odin himself.
If it's not Abeloth, I suspect it may be the Pool of Knowledge that created it
Morai (owl) Showed herself she has something to tell Ahsoka.. Abeloth is stirring mother of mortis She's to Bringer of chaos, Baylan is definitely Sensing her... Wish we got 12 episodes... But yeah the series gets a 9 out of 10...

I have so many thoughts I don’t even know where to begin! Someone said that the second season is in 2026 but I haven’t been able to verify any of it. When Ahsoka was introduced in the Clone Wars, I thought it was meant to be a learning experience for Anakin. However, i think Ahsoka is the Jedi that Anakin would have been if Qui Gon had lived and trained him. Anakin was the right teacher for Ahsoka because he understood her, unlike any of the other Jedi could have. Now that Ezra's home, maybe he can be the type of teacher to Jacen that Kanan was to him.
IF Hera allows Jacen to be trained at all.

Everything about this series was awesome and here are 3 favorite things that happen 1. Anakin Skywalker Force Ghost appearance, 2. The Mortis Gods, The Father the embodiment of the Force, The Son the embodiment of the dark side and The Daughter the embodiment of the light side and 3 . I was waiting all day for your uploaded, but I fell asleep before you uploaded lol. I hope you reply. Anyway, this show was everything to me!!! Of course, I didn’t catch every little Easter egg and reference, but I never go in to these shows or movie’s looking for them. It’s cool when I do catch some though! This finale was insane to Ezra building his saber like Kanan’s, Sabine finally name dropping Kanan, Huyang dropping his real name, Caleb, to the ambush, then the big battle, everything!! We got freaking zombies!! Very cool!!! I loved the rematch between Ahsoka and Morgan, very well done choreography! The lightsaber fights in this show reminded me so much of the prequels with the choreography, because it was that good! Thrawn’s message to Ahsoka, OMG! The man doesn’t even have to yell, and he’s scary. Him just gloating: “I won. I knew your master, so I knew your strategies would be similar.” Even calling Ahsoka a Ronin that belongs there. Man he’s terrifying as he should be! The actor’s performance was just phenomenal!!! Every Rebel character was played one to one to me!! Ahsoka, Hera, Sabine, etc. I loved Jaycen! I thought he was only gonna be a cameo, but he had a much bigger role. Him being able to hear lightsabers clashing in the world between worlds, come on!! Baylan and Shin were amazing villains as well! I think Baylan is the most interesting villain introduced since Disney took over, which is why I hate that Ray passed so much. He never even got to see his work through, very sad. :( R.I.P, Ray will be missed. I wonder what is gonna happen with him now, because I don’t he’s just gonna get recasted, and I don’t think I would him to. Ray did an amazing job!! Sabine is a Jedi now, which I’ve seen some hate for, but it doesn’t bother me at all simply because she isn’t Rey! Not even close!! Sabine clearly struggled throughout this entire season and even got whipped her first time using Ezra’s saber probably in a long time which is how it should be!!! You shouldn’t be able to just pick up a saber and be amazing with it as well as the force immediately, that’s not how it works!!! Also, about her getting stabbed, I’ve been hated on for this too, but to me her survival made complete sense. Sabine got stabbed in the side whereas the captain and Qui Gon were stabbed through the spine. She also had access to medical attention immediately. I know I’ve said a bunch, so I’ll wrap up. Overall, Ahsoka as a whole was perfect; a dream come true!!! I haven’t mentioned the music, but dude! The music was just incredible!! My top three episodes for this season are 4, 8, and 5 in that order. Those episodes, especially 5, was some the best Star Wars content I’ve ever seen!!! We saw Anakin 3 times!! 3 times!!! Phenomenal!! I really really hope there is a season 2, because there needs to be! Even if/when Thrawn and the Rebels show up in other projects like probably Mando season 4, the book is not closed on Ahsoka, it’s not done! I also loved this show so much more than the others because unlike others, Ahsoka never took a detour! Dave knew what his show was about, he knew the mission, and he delivered like I knew he would!!! I’m so happy Ezra made it home! I know I’ve said a lot, but what do you expect? I’m a big nerd like you lol. Anyways, I’ll end saying this: Dave Filoni is a legend, and he always will be!!! Whenever Dave is at the wheel of anything, I just know it’s going to be something special!!! Ezra's Home 🥰. Love how Chopper recognized Ezra like a dog seeing it's master. R2D2 did the same thing seeing Ahsoka in S7 Ep 9 "Old Friends Not Forgotten".
Ezra's home! Another good analysis and it is possible that you are writing the script (except the huge Baylan cliffhanger lol). It does feel like Dave Filoni used the Ahsoka series to split Star Wars into two completely different directions (and Galaxies). The story of Thrawn is what most mainstream fans will understand as a typical Star Wars plot and he'll be an amazing antagonist for future movies (Heir to the Empire Trilogy). However, I'm actually more interested in what is happening on Peridea to be honest. Will the Mortist gods appear? Technically, they should all be dead and I still hope that the real voice that Baylan is hearing is that of Abeloth. So many directions Dave Filoni can go with this but I hope they don't take too long to build on this because I need to know what the heck is going on!! LOL

@@laneybyers that's a great point. Especially with the emotional outcry by fans after seeing Anakin again, it wouldn't surprise me if he had a few more things to teach Ahsoka. He never really said out loud that her training was complete. He just said that there may be hope for her yet! 😉

I guess it's one of the things I've been going around with
people about this series. It actually has a road map.
People (I won't say fans) complained about the sequels
not having a road map, which it didn't. And they act all
entitled and shit about Ahsoka demanding it goes ways
they want (as if they really know) and complaining when
it doesn't give them everything at once. Filoni has a plan.
Sure we didn't get all the answers but I'm actually happy
we didn't. Those of us "fans" that have been with this for
the long haul (watching Clone Wars and Rebels) have
enough to have an idea of what's coming. If you don't
have Rebels and Clone Wars, the actual community is
more than willing to fill in the blanks and guide viewers.
And they can still watch Clone Wars and Rebels and
maybe enjoy them more now.
On the flip side watching your video got me thinking.
The Rise of Skywalker. Might not be canon after all.
Why? Cos George Lucas isn't attached to it to change
Ashley's voice to Rosario's. It's his thing. And it's never
happening to the sequels. No Special Editions. No altered
gun fights to make the heroes look less like cold blooded
killers. No replaced voices for the current actor.
No animal cries that go from good and scary to guy kicked
in the nads *le sigh* Makes them even less Star Warsy :/

Great reaction, lots of good callouts. I've enjoyed the series overall and I thought most of the character arcs and plot did for the season did get a resolutions here. Sabine found Ezra, got him home (keeping her promise), and overcame her block to access the force and becoming a true padawan. Ahsoka got closure with what happened to Anakin and her fear of being a master to Sabine. Thrawn and the Night Mothers accomplished their goal of escaping back to the main galaxy. Baylon, to me, always felt like more of a multi-season arc since he really didn't reveal his ulterior motivations until episode 6. The main drivers for this season were accomplished with enough of teases and loose threads to go into the next season. I just wonder if they do a Season 2 of "Ahsoka" if it will focus on them trying to figure out whatever Baylon is doing and the Thrawn in the main galaxy will start to be the new antagonist for Mando S4 where they already setup the shadow council. Either way can't wait to see what Dave cooks up next. Maybe some "Tales of the Jedi" animated shorts showing Sabine and Ahsoka's first try at master and apprentice and./or with Ezra and what he was up to for the last 10 years.
Ezra is home & they need to tie this in to Luke’s academy somehow.
Hello There. Another amazing episode of Ahsoka. Sad that the series is over, but have to thank Dave Filoni for creating such an amazing TV series. Amazing lightsaber battles and it's incredible to see that even if Anakin is gone, he's still looking out for Ahsoka and I'm hearing internet rumors that Baylan Skoll is a brother of Obi-Wan Kenobi? Seriously, I have high doubts. Hope there's going to be season 2. Now I can't wait to watch season 2 of Andor, hopefully next year. the most common theory on the net is that Baylan hears the Mother, but it would be weird that the father is showing the way to the Mother. Shin could be the son. Seems most people are not happy with the ending because they didn't get all the answers they wanted... we live in the age of spoiled kids...
I feel like Baylan is more likely to be the Son than Shin, at least to me she feels very conflicted and uncertain of if she is doing the right thing which she seems to want to do but since she seems to be the youngest character in this show(besides Jacen) she would have grown up in a time where it was never clear what the right thing was and given that she might have been raised by Baylan she would think at least somewhat similarly to him about what the right thing is but now that he has left her she is questioning that and is probably falling further to the Dark Side than she already was though doesnt seem to be irredeemable. On the other side I feel like Baylan knows he isnt doing the right thing but rather what he thinks is needed for the good of everyone which is a very Vader way of thinking and as such cant be talked out of what he is doing at least not easily but despite this he still seems conflicted. Its funny because looking at it we know pretty much nothing about both of them and yet at least to me they are easily the most complex and interesting characters introduced in a long time Shin less so than Baylan because we know(slightly) less about her than him
Yes, Ezra is just Ezra. They did amazing with all the casting of the Rebels characters but the actor playing Ezra is just 100% perfect as Ezra. When he got on the comms and impersonated the night troopers voice I was dead 😂😂😂.

It was a good finale, but it isn't awesome. The whole show for me is "just fine". Which is a shame, because I feel that starwars needs a new mandalorian s2 to get people back into being fascinated by starwars again.

Ezra's home. I knew that would happen because he needs to train Kanan's son. That being said, I do agree that this episode could have used a little more in terms of pay off when it came to the character stakes. I thought it would be a lot harder for Ahsoka to finally trust Sabine, that it would come down to a big dramatic decision at a decisive moment, but it just kind of happened at the beginning in a more casual scene when Ahsoka acknowledges that Sabine's gamble with Ezra payed off. I don't know if I got ahead of myself or if the writing in earlier episodes overemphasized the conflict of trust between Ahsoka and Sabine a little too much? That being said, this episode absolutely brought the entertainment value. Any one who is a child at heart is going to enjoy watching 3 Jedi storm a castle full of Zombie-Troopers, am I right?
I have seen a lot of people describing Anakin's Force Ghost as looking at Ahsoka proudly, but my impression is that Ahsoka has more to accomplish yet and Anakin is merely watching over her at this point. The moment of absolute pride for his Padawan is yet to come.
You know, I got the impression that Anakin already took the role of the Father the moment he fulfilled the Prophecy. That being said...I always thought it was weird that there was no Mother. What's going on with that?
I think the best part was when Thrawn peed his panties a little bit when The Apprentice of Anakin Skywalker was getting a little too close to stopping him for his comfort! Bwahaha
We are definitely getting a season 2!

I really enjoyed this series and it was fun to re-watch it with you. I really hope there is a season 2 but I'm afraid there might not be. It didn't get very good ratings and Ray Stevenson's death (Rest in Peace Legend) will obviously have an effect on their decision. I've got my fingers crossed nonetheless 🤞

well, Ezra was in the other galaxy during the original trilogy. i’m assuming Hera just wasn’t important to the main story in the OT as she was leading her squadron of Rebels elsewhere. thank you so much for watching!

It was an okay finale in my opinion. I just felt that Shin and Baylan were wasted in this episode because they got less screen time. That's what sucked.
