When Ash started singing "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" and Clay sat beside her to listen. I love it not just because of how the song seems to speak to Clay, but because of how it speaks to me. I'm not gonna bore you with too many details, but the song really touches on how I've felt for the last year or two :)

Porsha singing Could Have Been Me was my favourite moment in Sing 2. The part when she gets in her father's face and sing's I don't hear you now makes me laugh.
Sing 2 must be one of those rare cases when the sequel somehow beats the original, both storywise and colorwise! This franchise does not disappoint 🌈🎶
Likewise, I felt that the sequel was even more enjoyable than the original, which is almost a rarity in a sequel.

I think either “Set It All Free” or “Could Have Been Me” is my favorite song in this franchise.

Sing 2 movie plot wouldn’t happen if it wasn’t for Gunter. His idea of Out of This World is surprisingly genius.

Having Johnny dress as a badass? Love it
Meena having a love interest? Didn’t go smoothly at first but finding the right guy, I liked it. Oh, her dress transformation? Love it
Ash singing with Clay Calloway? Wasn’t so sure how that’s going to be planned out but in the end, totally worth it. I just love the duet
Meena, Ash, and Johnny had the best performances in both movies they make a great team. Especially when they add Porsha in the future.

scarlett and bono together actually brought me to tears. I haven't listened to U2 in years, and I smiled and started crying hearing one of my favorites from them. Also Taron Egerton doing coldplay, elton john, and sam smith, what can he NOT DO???

What I love about the characters
Johnny -in the first movie, I felt bad for him but when he starts singing, he’s born to be a singer and a total badass in the sequel
Porsha -spoiled at first but being redeemed, she has a great personality. She fits perfectly with her song
Meena -I know exactly how she feels. I see a lot of myself in her. I love her voice and it was wow. She’s great in the first movie and the sequel with a love interest voiced by Pharrell Williams
Rosita -being a mom of 25 kids is a handful. I see she has confidence, care and love. She had some struggles but pulled through. Definitely surprised me with Shake it Off and being the main lead is definitely a dream come true for her
Gunter -he’s a funny guy with pizzazz and style. Has a great sense of humor and glam. Piggy power!
Ash -Hearing that Scarlett Johansson voices the rockstar porcupine Ash, she immediately became my favorite character. I got inspired by her rocking outfit. I love her song. The way how she sang U2’s song is beautiful
Clay Calloway -as a lion, the king of the jungle or in this case the King of Living Legends, I think he’s great. Having Bono as the voice of him is unbelievable and cool at the same time. I like his character, he’s getting my love
Mike -One, I love Family Guy. When I first saw the trailer, I’m like this is one heck of cast and it really sells. I heard a little bit of Peter Griffin in him when he says “the prize money is mine”. The way how he sings jazz is heaven. I will never forget my dad’s jaw dropping reaction. Mike has some funny moments. He definitely has class
I know Rosita's husband isn't a main main character but I love how his story evolved to actually noticing his wife and paying attention to her, and even helping with the groups schemes in the second movie by sicking their kids on the buffet patrons. Everyone in both movies redeem and evolve in some way (except maybe mike but he is still a great performer) and I think that's a beautiful trait that makes both movies phenomenal.
Admit it, my fave Sing musical moment is when Johnny performs "Sky Full Of Stars", it's literally screaming Cirque Du Soleil Las Vegas in my face! They've got the fire effects of "O", the fighting of "KA", all that crazy makeup and costumes scream Cirque to me!
The rest of the Out of This World is awesome too, it's got lots of Cirque in it, I guarantee the animators did a great job in their research to make this animated Vegas show that I'd be happy to see if it were real!
Also, Johnny's badass Mad Max costume, ugh! I'm having a crush on this cute gorilla!

I love how both songs Johnny sings is dedicated to his dad and in the second one his dad says how proud he is of Johnny by calling him his son :).

Portia was such an awesome character. You think she would have been annoying but she really surprised me. She was a super fun and cute character. Her performance "Could Have Been Me" was incredible. ❤❤🥰🥰

I’ve seen way too many people say that had the first movie’s performance actually been a contest, Johnny would have won. 🏆
I think Ash would win because of her performance and her song being more original. That’s just me though.
I feel like it would have either been Johnny, Ash, or Meena. Johnny because of Moon saying he’s a natural singer on his paper and because of his energy he brought. Ash because of her original song, and making the crowd go wild. And Meena because of her vocals which had literally brought the house down.
Johnny is the reason “I’m Still Standing” is one of my favorite songs.

I never knew Black Widow could sing until I saw “Sing” for the first time
From what I've heard, the song that convinced U2 to be in the sequel was Scarlett Johansson's cover of "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" :) The band is very protective of their songs - that one in particular given how it came to be - but Johansson blew them away. And when someone asked Bono during an interview if he thought Johansson could be a professional singer, he said she surpassed professional ^^ I love that song, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", and "Could Have Been Me" ^^
"Stuck in a moment you can't get out of" Johansson's version- I literally have that song on repeat constantly. Her cover is so good!
Honestly the last song with Ash and Clay had me in tears and singing along.
I think that “I’m Still Standing” is my favorite song from the first movie, but as I think of it “Don’t Worry” shows a bit more character growth. So I do agree with this ranking.

I am an unabashed fan of the Sing franchise! They may not be the most original films ever, but the characters are lovely and the songs absolutely BOP!
My favourite was the acoustic version of Stuck In A Moment... It's only a short bit of it but so simple and charming.
In all honesty, Sing 2 made me appreciate U2 again.
can we just point out the irony in how Scarlett Johansson, who voices ash, does a rendition of U2's song to convince them to be included in the sequel, and IN THE SEQUEL, ash singing a rendition of clay's song is what convinces him to be included in the musical

Sing and Sing 2 are so underrated

I loved Sing, but just like Terminator and Alien, the sequel was better. I know people put these movies down and jukebox musicals but they're much more than that. I think music lovers enjoy these movies more than others. They did a fantastic job with their choices for their cast and I have to give credit to actors like Johansson, who *took singing lessons* to be in these movies. If there is a third one, I wouldn't be surprised, but if these two are the only ones we ever get, then it was definitely worth it
Set It All Free was my personal favorite music moment just because of the emotion put into it.

Sing and sing 2 is the best movies I've ever seen. All of the songs is really wonderful. Well, I do really love all of the performence and the songs, but my favorite is "A sky full of stars", "Halleujah", "Break free", "Set it all free", "Don't you worry 'bout a thing" and "I still haven't found what I'm looking for"

When the sequel came out I wasn’t pleased because I thought it should never have been created, but when I saw it on Netflix I did a complete 180. I never saw it in theaters because I thought sing should’ve been a standalone movie.

Don’t get me wrong, I really love Meena’s performance of Don’t You Worry About A Thing and it definitely had its spot in the top 5, but I think that there’s this fire with Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For. What drew Meena’s performance back for me was that her singing abilities had come as no surprise to the audience, with her singing Hallelujah on the wreckage. But her performance definitely earned a spot in the top, because we do see her character development throughout that movie, and I don’t even care for Meena all that much. Sucks that they did her dirty in the sequel. I know way too much about this franchise lol
The story plots, characters, and humor may not have been perfect in both movies, but the music and singing sure make up for it all.

Jimmy Crystal may not have a villain song but in retrospect, he’s Illuminations best villain of all time. Bobby Canavale did an amazing job voicing this character. His other villain counterpart in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is good and creepy but he did better in Sing 2
