    Did you try to play music over Bluetooth??? But you didn't try connecting any sensors, these companies have their own senors that don't work with other zigbee hubs...which defeats the purpose of zigbee....

    Hello thank you so much for the video! What's the name of the app you're using? I bought the multimode one and tried to pair it with Tuya app, but it doesn't work. Please help me

    Hi
    thanks for the video,
    i have a question maybe it is dumb
    but do these hubs save the automations?
    so that if the internet goes off i still can get the automation between all zigbee devices.
    and another question i noticed the third hub was labeled as mesh, does it mean that the previous two hubs doesn't support mesh network or they do?

    • @t3ph

      Glad to help, a sub would be the best thanks! 👌🚗☁
      1) do these hubs save the automations? - if it is Tuya it is save on the cloud/tuya servers so no not in these hubs.
      2) if the internet goes off i still can get the automation between all zigbee devices. - no, you need to setup a local server.
      3) i noticed the third hub was labeled as mesh, does it mean that the previous two hubs doesn't support mesh network or they do? - This is usually only for Zigbee, the zigbee light switches and power outlets serves as a mesh link to extend the range.
      However I went with WIFI and just segmented my IoT environment.

    Will tuya zigbee products work work with other zigbee hubs such as hubitat, etc?

    Hi,
    I have the first one but I am unable to connect that with a Tuya vibration sensor !
    The device is not recognise on pairing mode.
    I have other zigbee devices already paired and works fine.
    How to check zigbee hub compatibility?

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  ปีที่แล้ว

      they should all be compatible as a ZigBee is a standard. Your tuya vibration sensor might be broken.

    can we simply use the zigbee motion sensor to switch on the light through the hub??? without the use of mobile phone???

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes sir, you can program that in the smartlife or tuya app 👍🏽

    Hi, I'm currently looking with moes devices but will not sure that, I better choose zigbee or go with wifi version devices.

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends what you want to do. I personally went with Wifi due to the range of zibgee and generally ZigBee is more expensive.
      I would suggest Moe's or Smatrul. I have tested both and the support is good. Check out my other videos I have reviews for light switches as well as smart outlets 🤗

    Can you run multiple Gateways?
    For example if I have this upstairs but require one downstairs would I purchase another gateway or a repeater?

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Either way would be good, but a gateway would be better! :)

    Hi is it possible to connect multiple smart ceiling light using zibee gateway?

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but you might need a repeater. Most light switches are repeaters but just make sure.

    Hi, do you know if Tuya Zigbee Hub can pair with Xiaomi wall switches?

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Chai, funny i have been researching this as well. I have spoken to some distributors and they say no. This is why I have been trying to stick to a more open eco-system like Tuya. But of course the devices are not as refined as Xiaomi. There is a by pass to this using "Home Assistant". This consolidates any brand of switch that you would buy.

      Yes if you wire the hub to the network

  • @DejanBakic

    how much range does this have and how many devices can it hook up to?
    Isn't this the same as a wifi router?

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no based my my real world experience it is more like bluetooth range. Which is why you need repeaters. I just ended up doing wifi since the routers now a days are much more powerful. 👍🏽

      65.000 device in one controller and you can connect more network together.

      Hi T3 just want to ask. As I’m just starting to put up a smart automation at my house. How many zigbee hub do I need? And what repeater you can suggest for a better range and minimize the lag. Specially the house is 3 stories. I’m purchasing all moes product so it will be only one app and brand.

  • @SolarizeYourLife

    Why don't need a zigbee hub, we need a local zigbee server!!!

    Does this work with moes zigbee 3 gang switch?

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes I have the 3 gang switch of Moes without neutral. I have to keep the hub fairly close to one of the switches like about 3 - 5 meters line of sight to make sure the lag is minimal. But for some reason the range of the switch is stronger than the ZigBee hub.

    • @charlizeadam1568
      @charlizeadam1568 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@t3ph i see. I have the wifi switch. And zigbee switch. The wifi switch turns the lights on again when i turn off all the switches.
      The zigbee switch does not have the same issue did you experience any thing similar?

    • @charlizeadam1568
      @charlizeadam1568 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      One more question please. As far as connectivity is concerned. Is the multimode gateway better as far as the distance of the hub fron the switch is concerned?

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      hope this answers your question;
      In the Tuya app goto the light switch, press "setting" (it should be in the bottom), then select "relay status". It should be in "remember last status". Hope this fixes it.

    • @t3ph
      @t3ph  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For the connectivity, they are all the same in terms of range. Just go with the cheaper one 👍🏽
