I purchased two of them in Oct last year, and I'm completely satisfied. I deejay every weekend for weddings , b day parties, corporate parties etc,, and they sound great and I love the deep bass it provides.
Dj DARK GABLE I add my JBL 18’ sub when there’s going to be dancing for more than 80 people especially when there is 90’s R&B hip-hop, old-school, and any other music besides country. If you have an email, I can email you how they look and sound, for most gigs I get compliments on how they look and sound.
I have the Harbinger mls900 ....awsome , ok not for 100 people but yes for 50 -75 people . its very well matched ....now i want the mls 1000 but im going to wait till they come out with maybe a mls1200 or mls 1500
I looked at this system just yesterday. I was considering a purchase and comparing it to a similar Bose and ev. When it came time for the harbinger the sales man said oh I forgot this one was blown up. Not a good demo.
The MLS900 has enough inputs to do it all for you. But you'll find that it's best to add a small mixer. The MLS900 likes a pretty hot input signal; without a mixer preamp, dynamic mics don't have enough juice to drive the speaker to full volume. You could use a condenser mic instead, but the MLS900 has no phantom power, so you'd need a self-powered condenser like a Rode M3.
I have two of them, and they will work for a full band, as long as you have a separate mixer for the other instruments and I would suggest an 18 inch subwoofer as when I deejay, they have bands in the gig, they have an 18' along with their regular size speakers
melbookermusic you got it. I just seen your original comment and looks like you already knew about the mixer so you already know cool, and it’s a good idea to buy these first, because do you speakers will do for gigs, unless it’s a bigger gig and more than 150 people, then you will want to get the sub
@Cody Delles Yes! I have two shows with my band, and one student concert - worked like a charm. One caveat though - the air really needs an external router-we had problems once we had an outside gig.
Only thing missing...ANY EFFECTS AT ALL! So, still have to hook up a mixer or something to provide reverb, delay, etc. I don't know why they couldn't have included some effects.
Also when many reviews state that Harbinger sounds clearer than those, with better mids than the Eon One. It has 2.75 inch drivers (six of them) and JBL only has 2 inch drivers. No brainer.

Do you need a extra sub woofer for the bass, when you do weddings/parties?

Are there speakers in the bottom column?
@@TheRealLUKCAN yes. Speakers on the top and bottom column.
FUN FACT: Harbinger is owned by Guitar center. Samson is owned by Sam-Ash.
Harbinger is actually just a family company, not necessarily owned :)
Samson is Sam Ash’s son (also named Sam Ash) company. Hence Sam-Son. Kinda cool!
These look great. I have no interest in buying one, but that dude did a fantastic job of going though the product.

Weird AL, your perm is killer.
I wish they make this model in a 12" woofer .
Would be nice if they made a soft cover for the base unit
Can you put an electric guitar into the line-ins?
Yes
@@snowlites ... Thanks!
Is it possible to attach only the top half of the tower to the sub/base and have speakers function?
I found out that it is not possible unless you purchase a 3rd-party adapter from ebay.
Can the 2 speakers work good without the subwoofer?
Can I plug them to an amp?
Will Harbinger ever match the JBL eon 1 with a 10inch sub?
Not at all
Do these systems have the capability of connecting a separate powered monitor if I choose to do so?
They can connect out to anything else that uses XLR connectors.
Does it provide phantom power on channels 1 & 2 mic mode?
How would this do in an outside setting?
Do you need anything other than the MLS900 to preform live acoustic?

Does anyone know if a pair of these (combined with a another mixer) will work for a full band?

@@philipjames751 Cool-thanks! I am gonna buy these first, then add a sub after I get familiar with them.

Are these battery operated?
No. But you can always buy a battery power pack from Amazon for $100.
Looks suspiciously like a Bose line array PA. But as a consumer nice to have a 1/2 price option.

Yes

How much RMS does it put out?
It's a secret i guess. 900w peak though. not very helpful.
Just buy a regular pa
Harbinger...when you can’t afford Bose or Mackie

Harbinger is owned by Guitar Center. My uncle bought a Harbinger Vari v2218s over an EV ELX 118P....smh
