This reminded me of that moment in the comic All Star Superman, talking to a kid about to commit suicide. That moment summed up Supes: He's a naturally good person. He CARES. He's so good he inspires people and gives hope.
This fan film is one of the best representations of who Superman is and what he stands for. Superman at the end of the day is a friend, who cares about people, and is always trying to do the right thing.
Holy Shit, a Superman movie that actually shows Superman actually saving people. And not only that but can actually is on par with Christopher Reeves? THIS Is the Superman EVERYBODY needs to know.
Before this there were only two other Superman fan film that I liked. While I'm always hoping for an action packed Superman fan film, but the ones like this are better at representing what Superman is supposed to be. Good work Chris. Small movie with two friends eating lunch ans casually talking about work or sth. Think about it. I think you are great with human momemts and the namw Lois Lane gives a lot od clicks.
lois is already getting her own show where she and lex luthor work together or something. but takes place before superman comes to metropolis. as great of a character lois is, without having superman in the mix, i just cant get excited about it. so doing an entire short about lois doesnt interest me when i can essentially swap her out for an original character.
Fantastic! You showed Superman the way he really is. Deep down he is still Clark Kent. To quote The New Adventures of Superman: "Superman is what I can do. Clark is who I am." That is what made this video so touching. It was Clark, not Superman, saying, "Everyone is worth knowing." Thank you for this video.

Thrust out of his world, among the last of his kind, believing himself to be human and not knowing of his true heritage until adolescence…radically different from virtually everyone, yet still so genuinely kind and compassionate towards a planet/people that kept him safe. It’s stuff like this that proves that Superman (and Supergirl for that matter) are great characters and great stories can be told with them with the right writers. I think back to that comic where Superman also talked to someone who felt suicidal, and that moment on Supergirl where (without her powers) she confronted an armed robber, and convinced him to hand over the gun, and let her help him. This is another powerful, wonderful film, Chris! Great job from all involved!

I do remember the second Batman/Punisher crossover in the climax, reading what Castle was thinking. “The caped choir-boy’s holding his own, but he’s throwing fists in a fire-fight. I give him a little something for the effort. We’re on the same side whether he likes it or not.” And of course, Mr. Murdock earned Punisher’s respect in Daredevil: Season 2 on Netflix. Happy days…😁

This is great. It really is. I only wish they included a scene where she does jump off the building but Superman catches her and flies her back to the top to her confusion. That would be both A) an omage to the animated series were his first save as Superman was a little girl falling off a building and B) make him seem more like an angel like she was saying.
Having him catch her would be too cliche. The fact that he didn't use any of his powers and was still able to save the day is what makes it more powerful.
This must have been the inspiration for that fan film SUPERMAN SOLAR and this is a very rare find ... I must have watched it or glanced at it.but a BLINKY CLASSIC NON THE ULESS
